The 21st Century Boom = AI & the US Economy: R&D + Investment + Strategic Rollout

Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, has stated, "Artificial intelligence is unquestionably the most powerful technology force the world has ever known.” And Marc Andreessen, General Partner of Andreessen Horowitz has said, “AI will save the world.” During the four days of this conference, we will meet the hundreds of executives in the Entertainment, Technology and Advertising industries, executives and creatives who, if the prognosticators are correct, will lead the organizations, the teams of artists and executives, that will be a part of the greatest innovative and transformative force of the 21st Century.

9:00 PM - 9:50 PM - Eastern Time Zone

Session I:

The AI Global Monopoly or Benign MegaTech vs. The Role of Government: FTC, DOJ and EU

Brilliant business minds, legal scholars and prominent government regulators, representing political views from left leaning to right, representing countries from the EU and UK, the US to China are currently engaged in a process that may well determine the future of Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing and other advanced technologies which will impact the US as in turn the global economy. Much of the decision making will be based on interpretations of monopolies and restraint of innovation. While the discussion may seem academic and hypothetical, may well in the not too distant future, have significant impact on all our lives.

Session II:

AI & the Law: The White House EO, the New York Times - Regulation & Copyright
Government regulation and legal restraints on the implementation and daily usage of AI and Generative AI are at the heart of the massive AI controversies and debates raging today. The recent New York Times vs. OpenAI and Microsoft filing over copyright infringement is only the latest salvo in the ongoing struggle. And this past year’s White House Executive Order on AI regulation, while a seemingly light touch on government regulatory intent, may well hold many surprises. This is an exceedingly important Keynote session with takeaways that will undoubtedly reveal how the AI legal and regulatory decisions may well be decided.

Session I:

AI & Fashion Innovation: Electric Materials, AI Enabled Eyewear & Jewelry and Wearables

The fashion industries have forever defined the cutting edge of cultural innovation and the embrace of “Artificial Intelligence” by today’s fashion forward designers and global marketers is no exception. AI technology has not only been welcomed in both the manufacturing process and the global advertising campaigns and retail outreach to consumers, but perhaps most exciting is the latest innovation, “Electric Materials,” that embrace AI in the creation of clothing that are “Art Works Alive in Color and Motion” not only online but on the Runway as well. This session will be a breakthrough discussion of Fashion, Art and Technology.

Session II:

The Extravaganza: The AI – XR Live Experience: Celebrate the Creators

At the cross-section of AI and XR reside “Live Experiences” that set new standards for innovation, entertainment and experience. To name a few, Rafik Anadol’s work at The Sphere and MoMA; Lady Gaga’s Halftime Show at the SuperBowl will live forever; New Year’s Eve in Dubai is a Yearly Delight and Electronic Waterfalls and Gorilla’s continue to Bound off Buildings in Times Square. Of course, Whitney Houston famously was able to do it at the Super Bowl with her voice alone, but AI and XR are giving her a run for her money. In this session, we bring together a group of the greatest artistic technologists in the world.

9:00 PM - 9:50 PM - Eastern Time Zone

Session I:

Tech Giants vs. Billion-Dollar Startups: What Happened to the Danger of Monopolies?

The issue AI and Monopolies, bring to bear so many fascinating issues case studies and examples to the greater subject of Monopoly. As we are aware, all the major tech companies are deeply invested in AI: Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Google, Meta, IBM and Adobe, not to mention the Chip companies, NVIDIA, Intel, AMD and Qualcomm to name a few. And then there are the AI Billion-Dollar Startups: OpenAI, Anthropic, Inception AI, Databricks, Mistral AI and that’s not to mention the many AI start-ups that we read about everyday; Synthesia, Runway, Pika Labs, Character AI, Hugging Face & Perplexity AI. Which companies are deploying Monopoly power and if the industry is appoaching 50 major and 250 minor AI powers, how do we discover “Monopolies.”

9:00 PM - 9:50 Eastern Time Zone

Session II:

Is AI Music the Plagiarism Machine? As Brian May has Stated, “It’s Gonna Get Very Weird Very Quick”

Let's take an AI Music test. Google “Best in AI Music Deep Fakes” and you will be taken on an amazing tour of “Music Imposters,” including “Deep Fakes” of Brittany Spears, Frank Sinatra singing obscene Rap Lyrics; the infamous Drake/The Weeknd, “Heart on My Sleeve” having become a massive hit in a few days and Freddie Mercury singing "All I Want for Christmas,” a “Perfect Clone” of a Queen performance. And the technology behind AI song generators are becoming dangerously professional. It’s no wonder that Brian May, Queen’s lead guitarist and song writer is quoted having said, “It’s Gonna Get Very Weird Very Quick.” Music is always the artform first impacted by the combination of technology and the Internet because it does not require extensive bandwidth. In this session we bring together some of the best in the music business.

AI: The Greatest Economic Engine of Our Lifetime

In the past few years, a number of our most illustrious industry leaders have come forward with memorable quotes concerning the impact of AI. Sundar Pichai has said, “AI is one of the most important things humanity is working on. It is more profound than electricity or fire. Marc Andreessen has famously said, “Software is eating the world, and AI is going to eat software,” and Jensen Huang has stated, “Artificial intelligence is unquestionably the most powerful technology force the world has ever known.” In this roundtable, our group of illustrious speakers will address the power of AI and add their thoughts to this ongoing global conversation.

9:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Eastern Time Zone

Virtual Human Technology: The AI Intelligence Machine: From AI Companion and Conversational AI Co-Pilot to Humanoid Robot

Some industry experts say, “2024 is Going to be the Year of the AI Intelligence Machine.” We know that at this moment you’re “Tsk-Tsking,” we’re exaggerating, and maybe we are, but have you spent a few hours in a back and forth with a text-based AI-Copilot? If you haven’t, you should. Engage a Co-Pilot on any subject that you have deep knowledge and you will be amazed, assuming you are engaged with an up-to-date powerful AI. Your conversation will be amazingly good. And if you can “Train the System,” ie. help develop further informational input, your AI may well begin to make your head spin. And this goes for the development of the physical Humanoid Robot as well. 2024 may well be the year of the Virtual Human AI.
