Session I:

The Athlete as Media Company: From Personality to Direct-to-Fan, Social, Podcasts and the Athlete-Owned Production Company

The greatest fear of a sports fan is the moment one of their heroes goes down, taking a hit, falling to the boards, in what we have come to recognize as a possible ACL, or falling off the mound seeing that arm at the wrong angle. In the 1970s, the late Dr. Frank Jobe invented Tommy John Surgery and around the same time, similar surgeries were developed for the ACL and other phenomena. At this luncheon we will honor the Medical Teams and the Doctors who have saved the careers of our heroes, and we will also bring to the stage “Courageous Athletes” who have faced-down their injury and have made their way back to competition.e.”

Session I:

Sports, Athletes and Brand Identity: Elite Brands, Lifestyles and High-Performance Aesthetic

The sports industry represents the total package when it comes to the “Brand and Agency” investment challenge. Advertising is about massive reach and personalized consumer engagement. It’s about integrating and targeting the most sophisticated creative and analytical technologies into that process. And Sports provides a multitude of solutions. Football Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays represent massive audience reach. In-stadium represents a mixture of social media with the glitz of the In-Person experience. Podcasts and YouTube create tremendous opportunities for personalization and brand building. And each and all these platforms represent the cutting edge of technology innovation.

The Athlete as Technology & Wellness Warrior: Full Body Immersion – Devices – Platforms

The 21st Century Athlete is entering a new era of human performance, where artificial intelligence, intelligent devices, and connected platforms transform the relationship between body, mind, and machine. From AI-powered eyewear, smart apparel, and biometric sensors to intelligent footwear, real-time analytics, and immersive training environments, the athlete is becoming a fully connected intelligence ecosystem. Technology is moving beyond measuring performance to interpreting movement, anticipating physical demands, refining technique, and delivering personalized guidance in real time. The implications extend far beyond professional sports, reaching young athletes, weekend competitors, fitness enthusiasts, and active adults. As Meta, Apple, Nike, and a new generation of technology innovators converge on the human body, the boundaries between athletic equipment, personal computing, and artificial intelligence are rapidly disappearing. Welcome to the age of the AI Warrior, where human instinct, physical performance, and machine intelligence become an extraordinary new partnership.

2:00 PM - 2:45 PM - The Grand Ballroom, Section A

Session I:

The Athlete and the Pod: Performance, Voice, Culture and Brand:

In Sports it’s all about the Podcast and for the Athlete, it’s the new home away from home. It’s the perfect DYI, brand building, social media companion, before game, after game, relaxing, enjoyable and low risk venture. Athletes in all sports are taking the plunge. For some, it’s a perfect fit, for others, a little shaky, but nothing ventured nothing gained. It starts on the field. In fact, for some it started in college; social media, DMs, having fun, building the brand and then come the “Pros,” entering the bigger market with bigger risks and bigger rewards. But for each athlete it’s different. It may be stepping out of your comfort zone and for others, the time of your life.

Session II: - The Grand Ballroom, Section B

The Sports Intelligence Factory: Video Analytics, Specialized AI Models & the Science of Winning

What happens when artificial intelligence learns to watch sports, understand athletic movement and recognize patterns that even the most experienced coaches might miss? The next generation of sports analytics is moving beyond statistics into video intelligence, computer vision and specialized AI models designed to solve specific athletic challenges. From shooting mechanics and defensive positioning to injury prevention, player development and real-time game strategy, the opportunities are extraordinary. But will the future belong to massive general-purpose AI platforms or smaller, specialized models trained on proprietary sports data? Can professional franchises and universities build their own intelligence factories, developing predictive systems tailored to individual athletes, teams and competitive environments? And who owns the resulting intelligence? As video, analytics and machine learning converge, a new competitive frontier is emerging where athletic performance, technological innovation and the science of winning become inseparable.

3:00 PM - 3:45 PM

Session I: The Grand Ballroom, Section A

The Superstars Roundtable: Athlete – Culture - Superpower

It is safe to say that the “Superstar Athlete” officially outranks all the OGs in the greater entertainment field. In the 1990s it’s would have been pretty-hard to outshine the “Supermodels.” And “Hollywood” has forever produced serious “Star Power.” Let’s face it, it’s a tough haul to out-work the Stones, Taylor Swift, Mariah, and Beyoncé for first place. But today, it’s all about the “Superstar Athletes.” No question these are serious “Global Names,” that are “Building Brands,” creating their own “Business and Media Empires” and laying the groundwork for “Generational Wealth.” Michael was just the beginning and now the future is in view.

Session II: - The Grand Ballroom, Section B

Immersive Sports: AI & XR: Fan Engagement & 360 Experience: In-Stadium - Mobile - Games - Spatial/VR - Social Media

Now for the fun stuff. While the sporting event, the superstars and the rivalries may set the table, it’s only the beginning of the athletic feast. It is now time for the tech and the superfan’s imagination to kick in. It’s a whirlwind of sound and fury, from giant video billboards and in–stadium madness, the social media battles of Memes and Real-time madness, to in-home VR and Spatial space tripping, and finally to the betting and loving your favorite homies. It used to be “All About the Game,” which is “Kinda Still True,” but add to that, “It’s all about experiencing my favorite game inside a “Triple Threat” of “The Game, The Sport and The Technology,” not to mention the Nachos and Fries!
