This session unites filmmakers, technologists, and production experts to explore practical strategies shaping 2025 through the lens of 3 distinct and noteworthy projects: • Director/Visual Effects Designer Elad Offer will discuss his work on Apple’s first fully immersive feature “Bono: Stories of Surrender (Immersive)” starring U2’s Bono and made for the Apple Vision Pro headset; • “Karen: Unleashed,” the fully AI-created mock trailer and accompaning making-of piece directed by the trio known as AI OR DIE that has racked up millions of views and has some Hollywood press scratching their heads of its implications • Acclaimed filmmaker Neil Huxley, known for his groundbreaking work in videogame cinematics for Lord of the Rings and Marvel, will discuss his latest work for UFC, which leaned in heavily to LED Volume Wall technology.

AI OR DIE, Director, Modern Logic: Tech-Forward Content Creators, AI OR DIE are the new pioneers in digital storytelling, leveraging emerging technologies to craft innovative, immersive, and engaging content. The creative collaborative includes Boey, Bengt Tibert, and Mind Wank, all of whom brought their diverse backgrounds in filmmaking, editing, animation, and advertising together in 2024 intent on leveraging AI tools to create something totally new with the technology.

Neil Huxley, Director, Lord Danger: Neil Huxley is an Emmy-nominated director renowned for his mastery of live-action and VFX. A London native now based in Los Angeles, he has lent his expertise to acclaimed projects such as Zack Snyder's Watchmen and James Cameron's Avatar. His body of work includes cinematic storytelling for Elder Scrolls, Assassin's Creed, Dead by Daylight, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Mad Max, as well as acclaimed UFC promos featuring Jon Jones, Conor McGregor, and Ronda Rousey—the latter earning an Emmy nomination. His visionary approach to world-building reached new heights with the live-action interactive film Middle-earth: Shadow of War, hailed as the most evocative depiction of Middle-earth since The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Anthony Ficalora, Executive Producer, Lord Danger: For Anthony Ficalora, the film business is the family business. He grew up on set, and learned from an early age the specific skills necessary to navigate the industry, create effective content, and forge lasting partnerships. From his early start in the business, Anthony would go on to amass a wealth of experience in all different aspects of the industry: from freelance production with top companies to feature film accounting. These experiences allowed him practical insight into the business side of the entertainment industry. He is a firm believer that effective campaigns are formed from dynamic collaboration and creative problem solving, and that the opportunity to make something should always be an enjoyable experience.
