The Super Creativity & Super Intelligence Summit

Exploring the Boundaries of Thought & Consciousness

Welcome to an Exploration of Ideas and Innovation

The Grand Canyon of our imaginations has been invaded by and inhabited by a technology that heretofore only lived in the world of science fiction. It is now only three years ago that our humanoid robot friend from Star Trek, Data happily entered our everyday lives in the form of ChatGPT.  And today the national conversation has escalated, settling on these two words, Super Intelligence. Super Intelligence is what this conference is about. Of course, advanced technology has been welcomed into our every lifestyle experience for decades, but from the start, Generative AI, even for the most road-weary tech enthusiast, was something completely new. This conference is not a debate about the future; it is an exploration of the Super Creative Experience. Our attendees will be the most engaged “Creatives” representing Entertainment, Design, Science & Technology from within Academia, Research as well as Artistic and Commercial Application. Welcome to what we hope will be a fascinating 21st Century adventure of idea sharing and exploration.

The Evening Keynote Roundtables

Opening Keynote Roundtable

8:00 PM - 8:50 PM: Eastern Time Zone

Session I:

The Creative Genius: Human + Machine: The Arrival of Super Intelligence

Every artist, scientist, creator of content accepts that there is magic in the daily routine of their day. Some refer to them as creative accidents, epiphanies, ideas out of the blue, song writers and poets may describe them as messages from the unknown, but the common theme is a reverence for the creative process, a wonder of the mind. And with each generation of “Reasoning Model,” the relationship between the “Super Creator and the Super Intelligent Machine” takes that experience of wonder and elevates it, presenting the possibility of “Elevated Genius.” In this, our opening roundtable, we bring together four “Super Creators” representing four distinct professional experiences.

9:00 PM - 9:50 PM: Eastern Time Zone

Session I:

The Black Box of Super Intelligence: The LLM Dream or Fugue State – Fact or Fiction

As creators, high functioning professionals in our respective fields, we each approach the creative process with our AI or group of AIs in highly personalized routine. We may come to know as much about the idiosyncrasy of our AIs as we might a colleague, a collaborator or perhaps even a friendly competitor. But many of us at some point, much as “Speed Chess” may take on a mental frenzy, or a creative surge might trigger momentary a mental drift or dream state, the creator may also engage an LLM in what we might call “Creating inside the Black Box.”  And while the word “Hallucination,” might be appropriate, the result might produce a breakthrough or at least a moment of serendipity.

Session I:

The Hollywood LLM Braintrust: Protecting & Insuring an Historical Legacy

As the “Tsunami” of LLM and Super Intelligent innovation continue to amaze and exceed expectation with each “Reasoning Model,” the “Brainstrust” of our creative achievement, the Academy, the “Protectors of Our Historical Legacy” must not only be concerned, but must ensure that the hundreds of years of “Basic Knowledge,” the science, literature, law, journalism, entertainment and even games must be safeguarded in the euphoria of the moment. There are risks in reaching “For the Stars.” The risks go far beyond loss of copyright or even the ethical dilemma of Deep Fakes and Robotic Humanoids as companions. The arrival of Super Intelligence poses a very real threat of an understanding our ourselves,  potentially eroding the very essence of our humanity.

Session II:

Neuroscience and Deep Reasoning AI: Mapping the Brain for Super Intelligence

The quest for Super Intelligence hinges on understanding the intricate workings of the human brain. The human brain's ability to reason, learn, and adapt is both mirrored and contrasted in AI systems, which rely on computational models to replicate cognitive functions, blurring the lines between biological and synthetic intelligence. To unlock the full potential of AI, scientists and developers of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Reasoning Models must collaborate to bridge the gap between neuroscientific discoveries and AI advancements. By integrating insights from brain research into AI development, we can create more sophisticated models that mimic human cognition and potentially lead to breakthroughs in Super Intelligence. With each passing month it seems that the rate of innovation accelerates. Recent breakthroughs have demonstrated the potential of brain-inspired AI, with applications in complex problem-solving and decision-making. By mapping brain function and structure, researchers can unlock new insights into neural networks, cognitive architectures, and adaptive learning, driving innovation in AI and transforming our understanding of intelligence.

Session I:

Training the “Stanley Kubrick - Charlie Kaufman” Level AI: Fact or Fantasy & the Question of Ethics

What would happen if an AI were trained with the entire oeuvre, the life work of Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, Quentin Tarantino, Stanley Kubrick, Billy Wilder and John Ford? That would be like sharing the “Keys to the Hollywood Kingdom,” the finest in cinematography, screenwriting, humor, drama and editing as well. And even with that “Assemblage of Greatness,” attached to an AI of tomorrow, meaning an AI with a near-Einstein level mind, would that “Advanced Machine” be able to create, even with professional “Human Assistance” a truly great achievement in Cinema? This question is not an idle bit of humor or fantasy. In a world racing toward “Advanced General Intelligence,” it is a question that we might have to one day address.

Session II:

Conversational AI: Exploring the Human/AI Relationship – A Daily Companion

What role will an AI play in our lives. It will help in our daily lives, as an advisor, a researcher, a mind to help stimulate our create process and even as a companion to share feelings and emotion. It might manifest as text, or as a visual on a screen, as “Her” on a smartphone or as a “Humanoid Robot,” and there is no question that it will shortly make the leap to full “Human Like” emotion, intuition, judgement and the full spectrum of human experience. At this event, it is not too early to ask these questions. This is why we have come together. One cannot shy away from the question of human need, affection and even love. A child expresses those feels from their earliest cognitive moments. Dogs and cats do as well. Accordingly, a “Highly Trained AI” will do all that and have an advanced mental capability to boot. No question, today’s ChatGPT can read and write and in this session, we’ll explore what else is on the horizon.

2:00 PM - 2:45 PM Eastern Time Zone

Session I:

AI & Cinematic Creativity: On the Verge of Its Citizen Kane Moment

There is little question that Cinematic AI is entering its three-year anniversary not as a toddler, but as a robust teenager ready to make its debut. We believe that it is more than ready for its “Citizen Kane Moment.” To quote the amazing Steve Jobs. “Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do."

Session II:

Architecting Neural Networks: Mimicking the Human Brain & Human Experience

The challenge is clearly laid before us. The highest calling of the computer scientist might be called: The Art of Creation: Mimicking the Human Brain and Human Experience.” In five years, Elon Musk predicts that a multi-trillion-dollar marketplace will exist for “Humanoid Robots” and he adds that it will be largest demand driven industry in the world. While that may or may not be true, the age of Super Intelligence has arrived and whether in text, audio, video or as a “Humanoid,” it will be the result of hundreds of millions of “AI Inference Hours.” In this session, we look forward to a discussion concerning the “Real-Time” architecting of neural networks with the goal of “Mimicking the Human Brain & Human Experience.

Session III:

A Digital Twin of Unique Creativity: From the Industrial World & Design to a Replica of Genius: Albert Einstein, Miles Davis or Phillip Roth

While it’s true that many Hollywood actors today are exploring the potential of Digital Twins, the possibility of a Digital or Replicated world of design and experimentation is taking place within all facets, big and small in our post-industrial world. From industrial systems and 3D/RealWorld replicas of any design concept to the wonder and creation of legendary minds like Albert Einstein, Miles Davis, and Philip Roth, digital twins offer unprecedented opportunities to model, simulate, and optimize complex systems. By harnessing the power of 3D printing and other cutting-edge technologies, we can create detailed replicas of everything from factory floors to the neural networks of creative visionaries.  Imagine simulators and simulations of anything imaginable, from ideas and visions, to complex engineering projects on “Space Stations” or in multiple locations around the world. A Digital Twin today may represent a devious Deep Fake today, but the Digital Twin of tomorrow will open the door to a world of unlimited innovation and exploration.

Session II:

Infusing Distinctive Personality & Genius: Training Reasoning Models to Explore Humanity

At the foundation of all human awareness or sense of being is the basic understanding of reasoning, presence and ability to navigate moral dilemma. Once provided with the capacity of choice and self-awareness, human behavior may express itself as passion or emotion leading to more complex experience resulting in deeper thoughts, conclusions and degrees of certainty. And as “Reasoning Models” become more complex, based on the “Input of Training Data” they will begin to exhibit “Distinctive Personality.” As the newer generations of “Reasoning Models” appear “In the Wild,” we are first beginning to realize the breath of “Personality” and what that might mean as the general knowledge of “Super Intelligent” synthetics emerge. The fear is not the creation of a “Frankenstein Monster,” but rather a “Release into the Wild” of tedious, truculent, boring, aggressive, bellicose, defiant or ill-tempered AI Research companions or Humanoid Robots. Perhaps one day consumers will be able to order the Bette Davis, Meryl Streep, Brad Pitt, Clark Gable, Myrna Loy or even Albert Einstein model humanoid companion.
