Session II: A Virtual Event

Streaming + The Creator Economy + Podcasts = A Media Realignment

The traditional media hierarchy is finding revolutionary ways to expand. Streaming platforms, creator-led brands, and podcasts are converging into a new direct-to-consumer ecosystem where attention, revenue, and storytelling flow without gatekeepers. This session brings together the leaders driving this realignment: how streaming giants are becoming creator incubators, how top podcasters are building billion-dollar media empires, and how brands are shifting budgets to own the entire funnel through authentic creator and media partnerships. The result: a fragmented but explosive landscape where the biggest winners are the creators and platforms that control the relationship — and the data. This is not evolution. This is the great media realignment, and the map is being redrawn right now.

Rosie D’Amato leads CTV Partnerships at Kargo, shaping strategy at the intersection of content, distribution, and advertising. With roots in production at VICE Media and content acquisition at Narrative Capital—where she sourced and structured library deals for FAST and VOD—Rosie understands how content is created, packaged, distributed, and monetized. She brings that lens to Kargo, using her knowledge of content economics and platform strategy to inform how ads are packaged and sold. Leveraging a consultative approach to streaming partnerships, she’s built collaborative relationships across the CTV ecosystem in order to create signal-driven ad solutions and innovative products like Pause Ads

Lars Bengston is Head of Agency at HardScope, where he is building a next-generation agency model organized around creators, cultural acuity, and earning trust and fandom with Gen Z. He has spent his career operating inside fragmented media environments, holding senior leadership roles across media, agencies, and brands. Lars was Publisher and Head of Integrated Marketing at VICE Media, where he helped scale the business through digital channel launches, joint ventures, and the launch of cable network VICELAND. He later co-created Some Good News with John Krasinski, a defining cultural moment of the pandemic that reached over 100 million views in eight weeks and earned an Emmy nomination and a Special Achievement Webby. He also partnered with Arianna Huffington to help build Thrive Global’s brand content platform. Most recently, Lars served as Global Chief Content Officer at Havas, where he built global content strategy capability and helped modernize the network’s creative and strategic offering, including two years in Paris launching a digital accelerator for its largest client.
