TIn this session, we will dive into the realms of “Agentic Complexity” or “Deep Synthetic Intelligence.” We'll discuss how these virtual entities are not just designed for interaction but are imbued with 'Computer Intelligence' that allows them to mimic human emotion and expressions, engaging in conversational exchanges that are remarkably human-like. This interaction can be in text form, audio or full virtual humanoid. Once a “Virtual Experience” achieves this level of conversational maturity, akin to that of a seasoned human, their integration into our daily lives becomes inevitable.This engagement may be as a Co-Pilot - the engagement tool on the front page of an enterprise site. This door will also open to advanced form of Commerce via AI engagement. Join us to explore this frontier where AI not only mimics but begins to understand and adapt, crafting a future where virtual humans could redefine our reality.

John Canning, Director Developer Relations - Creators, AMD. John Canning, a leading expert in all "Media, Technology and Platform Issues" has recently joined AMD. For the past few years, he had been with Digital Domain, - renown for creative visual effects for feature films, including the recent Avengers Infinity War movie. They also create visuals for advertising, games, training, and immersive content, including their own original content. Prior to Digital Domain, John was the VP of Interactive Experiences for NBCUniversal, creating VR and other digital experiences for The Voice, Million Second Quiz, The Blacklist, and others. In the past, he’s also spent several years at both Microsoft and Disney. On the side, he’s the Chairman of the New Media Council at the Producers Guild of America. He’s also an independent producer, cinematographer, and photographer for good causes.
Laurie Keith, Senior Vice President, Emerging Media & Technology, Ad Council: Laurie Keith is an award-winning media and marketing executive with over 20 years of experience driving innovation at the intersection of technology and social good. As Senior Vice President of Emerging Media & Technology at the Ad Council, the national nonprofit working across advertising, tech, media, marketing and philanthropy to address the country’s most pressing issues, she leads a Center of Excellence exploring AI, immersive 3D, gaming, AR/VR, Web3 and robotics to power purpose-driven campaigns. Laurie recently launched “Love, Your Mind World,” the Ad Council’s first immersive Roblox experience, which supported teen mental health and attracted over 670,000 visits. Her innovative partnerships include: • Integrating a custom anti-bullying emoji into Apple’s iOS keyboard • Developing a VR film with Oculus for the “Love Has No Labels” campaign • Creating a web-based AR experience with 8thWall for hunger prevention • Wrapping autonomous delivery robots with Smokey Bear’s wildfire prevention message • Launching the first aerial drone campaign to raise awareness on the dangers of impaired driving • Leading the organization’s first Web3 activation in Decentraland for Metaverse Pride. She co-leads the Ad Council’s internal AI Taskforce and founded its Emerging Media & Tech Committee of external thought leaders. Her partnerships have earned recognition through industry awards including the Shorty Awards, Telly Awards and Facebook Studio Awards, and she was nominated for the GenNext Award by She Runs It. Cristina Lawrence is Chief Social & Innovation Officer at Razorfish, where she leads the Engagement Strategy discipline and Razorfish’s Innovation team. With over 20 years of experience assembling innovative digital strategies and programming for leading brands, Cristina oversees the integrated consumer engagement strategy, creative programming, execution, and management for a variety of Fortune Global 500 brands across a multitude of verticals, including mobile technologies, financial services, automotive, and consumer packaged goods. She was named a 2024 40 over 40 winner by Campaign US, won a Silver Award at The Stevie® Awards 2024 for Women in Business in the Most Innovative Women category, and received a 2016 Cannes Silver Lion in the Mobile category.
