Marissa Hurwitz is an agent in WME’s digital department. Her focus is on representing digital native talent, building out digital businesses for traditional talent, podcasting, and packaging projects for new distribution networks. She works with talent including Glennon Doyle, Sheena Melwani & The Real Indian Dad, Howie Mandel, Amanda Kloots, and podcasters and podcast networks including Kenyon Laing, Lucy Fitz and Amanda Jacobson (Wine & Crime), Nicole Byer (Why Won't You Date Me? & Best Friends with Nicole Byer and Sasheer Zamata ), Mike Birbiglia (Working it Out), Christine Schiefer and Em Shulz (And That’s Why We Drink), Alaina Urquhart & Ashleigh Kelly (Morbid), Meet Cute and Wonder Media Network. Marissa started her career at WME in the mailroom after graduating from Middlebury College with a BA in Political Science & Sociology.



Tori Wechsler is an Agent in the Digital Media group at Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Based in the Los Angeles office, Wechsler identifies and represents multi-hyphenate talent, overseeing many areas of their business, including Anna Akana, Massy Arias, Giannina Gibelli, Morgan Simianer, Jessamyn Stanley, and Madison Pettis, among others. Wechsler specializes in securing, negotiating, and creating dynamic new business opportunities, as well as endorsement campaigns for her clients. Working with brands challenges her to find campaigns that raise talents' profiles, leverages their audience & reach new ones, and compliments their core business. With a shared passion for lifestyle and wellness, Wechsler has led global campaigns with Adidas and Fabletics, and has worked with CoverGirl, Calvin Klein, Dove, H&M, Tinder, and Tastemade. Prior to joining the Digital Media department, Wechsler worked in CAA's Music department with many high-profile artists including Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, and Troye Sivan, among others. Wechsler co-founded Camp CAA in 2016, an annual CAA Foundation initiative taking underserved students from LA's Communities in Schools on an impactful and educational weekend retreat. She is originally from Long Island, New York and joined CAA in 2011. Wechsler graduated from The University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a degree in Business and Event Management.

 

Sam Christie, Director - Entertainment & Gaming, TikTok US: Sam Christie oversees TikTok's brand partnerships team on the West Coast where he's focused on building a world-class sales team and helping brand and agency partners meaningfully engage the TikTok community. Prior to TikTok, Sam spent 10+ years in key business development and account management roles with global digital agencies including Ogilvy and OMD, helping notable brands such as Apple, DuPont, and more build out their digital and content-led marketing strategies. In addition, Sam served in business development roles at eBay Enterprise, eBay's internal digital agency - building deeper e-commerce capabilities for leading digital retailers.

 

Chris Sawtelle heads up digital ventures at ICM Partners, one of world's leading talent agencies. He represents a diverse roster that includes management company TalentX Entertainment, home to the internet’s biggest social media influencers as well as TikTok collective Sway LA, Lana Condor, Jordan Firstman, Sienna Mae Gomez, YouTube stars The Try Guys and King Vader and viral VFX wunderkind Julian Bass. Prior to joining ICM, Sawtelle spent four years at Anonymous Content representing writers, directors, and actors, developing scripted and non-scripted projects for talent and leading social media and digital initiatives on behalf of the company.

 

Tom Balamaci, SVP Audience Development and Brand Strategy, Jukin Media: As SVP Audience Development and Brand Strategy, Tom leads programming, social media management and e-commerce for Jukin Media’s owned and operated brands (FailArmy, The Pet Collective, People Are Awesome and more). Prior to Jukin, Tom grew Rachel Zoe’s media and e-commerce properties including Box of Style and The Zoe Report. He also launched e-commerce for First Media (So Yummy and Blossom). He was the founder/CEO of a subscription commerce company, Pop-Up Pantry, and held business development roles at Sony Pictures, MySpace and NBC. Tom received an MBA from Wharton and a BA from Brown
