Panelists will share their best prompting tips providing valuable insights for anyone navigating the intersection of technology and creativity.

Patricia Beckmann Wells was one of eight female-identifying directors chosen for Lunafest, sponsored by Luna bars, and her film ‘Family Tale’ traveled nationally with Lunafest raising money for breast cancer. Her film Propolis, Part 7 premiered at Slamdance in Park City, Utah in 2019. Beckmann Wells' career includes executive leadership roles at Dreamworks SKG, where she also co-led the build of the Bangalore studios, and Walt Disney Animation Studios responsible for art asset pipeline development and training, and artist roles at Warner Brothers Digital, Film Roman, and ITE Denmark, among others. She now works independently as a content creator at her studio, Bunsella films, a virtual production studio and stage with facilities in both Los Angeles and Glendale. She is an expert in artificial intelligence enhanced pipelines coupled with virtual production techniques and game engine integration. Mombomb, part 1 is the first of 12 episodes, and two more episodes are currently ready for festival entry. She is the author of 'Face It: A Visual Reference for Multi[1]ethnic Facial Modeling.’ Her expertise has led to roles as a consultant for the Epic Games Unreal Metahuman project and speaking engagements with Pixar and SIGGRAPH on informed ethnic Identity in character design using forensic evidence and markers on skulls gathered from around the world. Recently, she was invited to speak at the AgBO + Slamdance summer showcase hosted by the Russo Brothers (Everything Everywhere All At Once) as a member of the featured round-table discussion of ‘AI and independent filmmaking’.
Deronte L. Smith, Writer & Filmmaker, AI Educational Consultants: Deronte L. Smith is a dynamic force in storytelling, media production, and innovation—known for his cross-platform impact in film, animation, publishing, and tech. With roots in rural Kentucky, his entrepreneurial path began at age 10 and evolved into a global career spanning content creation, international distribution, and immersive technology. After earning on English degree from the University of Kentucky, Smith launched his first startup, Innovative Concepts in Advertising, placing targeted media in Blockbuster Video sleeves. He relocated to Atlanta, where a chance introduction to filmmaking sparked a new journey. He later studied film at Kennesaw State University and trained under industry greets like Dov Simmons and Robert McKee. His short film Game garnered 14 festival wins, including Best Director at the HBO American Black Film Festival. In 2005, Smith authored The Fantastical Adventures of Sleepy Steve, selling 200,000+ copies and launching a national tour and media attention that led to animation development. In 2014, Smith's indie feature Prosper debuted at the American Film Market and was later sold internationally at Cannes, finishing as a top 10 horror film by HorrorHound. He has since pitched IPs to Turner, Tyler Perry Studios, Lionsgate, A24, Netflix, and Amazon Studios. In 2015, Smith was selected as a Fellow for the prestigious Sundance Institute Writer‘s Lab. Today, he leads Infinity Global Media Group, a production house for film, podcasts, and animation: and Infinity One Publishing, supporting new voices in storytelling.
