Filmmakers are transforming the ideation process, a world of AI and Virtual Production and in a matter of days, weeks and months, bringing it to life as a fully realized feature films, TV shows, advertisements and YouTube videos. Jessica Powell is the CEO and co-founder of AudioShake, a sound-splitting AI technology that makes audio more interactive, accessible, and useful. Named one of TIME’s Best Inventions, AudioShake is used widely across the music, film, sports, and dubbing industries to help give content owners greater editing capabilities for their audio. Powell spent over a decade at Google, where she sat on the company's management team. She began her career at CISAC, the International Society of Authors and Composers in Paris. She is also an award-winning novelist and former New York Times contributing opinion writer.
Eliot Mack, CEO, Lightcraft Technology: Eliot Mack was the lead mechanical engineer of the original iRobot Roomba, the world's first successful home robot. He started at the University of Michigan and MIT, crashing vehicles into walls for a master's thesis, and then built 5 ton walking dinosaur robots at Walt Disney Imagineering's R&D group. In 2004, having had his fill of chasing dust bunnies, Eliot followed his interests in visual effects and founded Lightcraft Technology. By applying real time robotics technology to the motion picture industry, he went on to create the Emmy Award-winning Previzion and Halide FX virtual studio systems. In 2018, he teamed up with Avid founder Bill Warner and CTO Greg Cockroft to create a new vision of 'ultralight' virtual production technology for everyone, leading to the Jetset iOS app.
Seth Hallen, Founder & Managing Partner, Hallstone Ventures: With over 25 years of experience in media and entertainment technology, Seth is a visionary leader in AI, passionate about storytelling and its intersection with technology. He supports AI-driven MediaTech startups by helping them refine their product strategies, gain visibility, secure funding, and build vital industry connections. Seth is a strong advocate for AI’s potential to enhance human creativity, believing it can serve as a powerful assistant in the creative process. Throughout his career, he has built strong relationships with decision-makers and led teams to success in North America and Europe, driving revenue growth and setting new industry standards. As a member of the TV Academy’s AI Task Force and having served as president of the Hollywood Professional Association, Seth is actively involved in shaping the future of the media and entertainment sector.
