Folayo Lasaki, SVP Head of Marketing + Communications at Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud - Folayo Lasaki is an award-winning marketing executive, creative, and brand strategist with nearly 20 years’ experience in media and entertainment. She is currently SVP, Head of Marketing + Communications at Laugh Out Loud, the multi-platform comedy brand founded by Kevin Hart, where she oversees brand, content, and social media marketing as well as communications and strategic partnerships. Her previous roles include positions with SoulPancake, Participant Media, Variety, Film Independent, Landmark Theatres, IFP, and FILMMAKER Magazine. She serves on the Telly Awards Judging Council, and sits on the board of directors of Women in Media. Based in Los Angeles, she can often be found making a mess in the kitchen or discussing representation in media.


Kinsey Tamberrino is Vevo’s VP of East Coast Sales, based in New York. With a core background in digital video and television, Kinsey has been an influential driver in promoting Vevo’s go-to-market strategy as a modern day premium content network, reaching large audiences at scale in a brand safe environment. Kinsey has been with Vevo for over four years now and works on holding company partnerships and overseeing all holding company upfront deals. When Kinsey first joined Vevo, she owned the East Coast region, and has since expanded in her coverage to the Midwest, and most recently Canada. Her domain continues to grow geographically, as Vevo adds more and more partners within North American territories, increasing its footprint on a global scale. Before she joined Vevo, Kinsey has held sales and management positions at Hulu, Food Network and Discovery. At Hulu, Kinsey successfully helped the company move from selling linear television to becoming a 360 streaming video platform. In addition to her work with Vevo, Kinsey has spoken at a variety of industry events including Brand Innovators, Adweek Fireside Chats, and hosted Vevo’s “Homecoming” presentation at the 2020 IAB NewFronts.

 

Kim Hurwitz, Chief Marketing Officer, FITE a Triller company - home of Triller Fight Club: Kim Hurwitz is Chief Marketing Officer of FITE, the premier global sports and entertainment platform which broadcasts more than 1,000 PPV events a year, including the iconic Tyson-Jones Jr. spectacle, the #1 PPV event of 2020 and the 8th biggest of all time. In April 2021, Trillernet acquired FITE which then became the exclusive streaming distributor of all Triller Fight Club events, along with new global extensions for Triller and Verzuz, as well as all of the marquee PPVs that FITE is known for. Ms. Hurwitz was previously CMO at Karate Combat, responsible for launching the brand that amassed more than 10M views in its first 2 seasons. Prior to that she was Chief Content Officer for FOTV Networks, which included FilmOn, a ground-breaking vMVPD, CinemaNow and Hologram USA. Kim was also Director of PPV at DIRECTV from 2000-2005 managing a $500M P&L, returning there in a marketing executive capacity from 2009-2010.

 

Dermot McCormack, President, LiveXLive: Known as an innovator and disrupter in the digital content space, Dermot McCormack, President of LiveXLive Media, oversees the programming development and business expansion of the leader in livestreaming, VOD, digital radio, original digital content, podcasting, and personalized merch. Under McCormack’s leadership, the publicly traded company has seen exponential growth-from theproduction of new, original content and franchises while also guiding its staff across all verticals. McCormack has been instrumental in creating and launching such noted original LiveXLive franchises as Music Lives' with 28M views in year two and The Lockdown Awardswith 10M global views, along with the upcoming and highly anticipated global live PPV event Social Gloves: Battle of the Platforms. With McCormack at the helm, his team has delivered some of the best livestreaming programming and content to audiences worldwide. McCormack’s background is expansive. He was a key player in AOL's sale to Verizon and previously served as AOL's Global President, Video and Studios, where he oversaw the video business for brands ranging from HuffPost to TechCrunch, and developed episodic programming including James Franco's "Making A Scene" and Steve Buscemi's Emmy Award-winning "Park Bench." Prior to his tenure at AOL, McCormack was EVP of Digital Media for Viacom's Music Group. Through an emphasis on organic traffic growth, social media integration, strategic partnerships, and storytelling around music, he helped MTV build a user base of more than 100 million followers, leading MTV to its position as the most visited music site on the Web. Among other innovations, while at Viacom, McCormack created the O Music Awards, a multiple Webby Award honoree, and developed Artist MTV, a platform for artists to create and manage their online presence. He also launched the MTV Music Meter, an algorithm-based discovery tool that recommended music based on social media traction. Before he was appointed President of LiveXLive, Dermot co-founded SNKR/inc., a global youth culture brand. He is a member of the board of directors of Axonista, a leading European OTT player, and the founder of Deviants Capital, a venture capital firm focused on launching and funding premium content brands. A native of Dublin, Ireland, he holds an engineering degree from the Dublin Institute of Technology.

 

Fenton Bailey, co-founder of World of Wonder and EP’s of RuPaul’s Drag Race - As creators of the RuPaul’s Drag Race franchise and co-founders of World of Wonder, the multi-platform media company behind some of the most trailblazing queer content of the 21st century, Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey have been uplifting and giving a platform to underrepresented voices in the LGBTQ+ community for 30+ years. Beyond bringing some of the world’s most talented Queens to fame on RPDR, WOW takes it a step further by giving many the opportunity to establish themselves further as brands through chart-topping shows and content on their SVOD WOW Presents Plus. Unique to many of the SVOD’s on the market today, WOW Presents plus has remained profitable, and independently owned since inception in 2017. Jonathan Hurd, Partner, Altman Solon: Jonathan Hurd has more than 30 years of consulting and industry experience in Telecommunications, Media, and Technology (TMT). Jonathan has recently been leading Altman Solon’s unique proprietary consumer survey and simulation techniques to analyze the consumer trends in video viewing, movie theater attendance, and sports TV. He has worked with video distributors on product design and pricing of traditional and OTT services and has also been advising broadcast and cable TV networks on product and pricing strategy. In addition, Jonathan is frequently involved in conducting due diligence projects for potential investors in the TMT space, including areas such as traditional video delivery, internet video delivery, wireless infrastructure, digital advertising, and digital publishing. A regular presenter at Digital Hollywood, Streaming Media, and other industry conferences, Jonathan is also a member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the group charged with investigating and selecting EMMY award recipients for innovative TV technology. Prior to Altman Solon, Jonathan was a Vice President with ADVENTIS, a TMT-focused strategy firm, and was a partner Mercer Management Consulting. Jonathan also held marketing and strategic planning positions at Lotus Development Corporation and he designed and created the Atari arcade video game “Food Fight” while working as a developer. Jonathan received a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a member of the Eta Kappa Nu Electrical Engineering Honor Society and the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society.
