Jay Roach is an American director and film producer. His films include the Austin Powers film series, Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, The Campaign, Trumbo, and Bombshell. The latter two were nominated for a total of four Academy Awards and won one. Roach also earned critical acclaim for directing the political dramas Recount, Game Change, and All the Way. Roach produces as well, including Hitch Hikers Guide the Galaxy, Sisters, and the award-winning hit, Borat. Mr. Roach’s most recent project was directing the Searchlight film The Roses starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman.
David Stohl is the Head of Studios at Activision, where he has spent the last 30 years helping shape some of the most successful games in the industry. He has led both Treyarch and Infinity Ward and has overseen Activision’s network of studios for the past two decades. A driving force behind the Call of Duty franchise, David brings unmatched experience in AAA game development and studio leadership, having played a key role in many of Activision’s biggest titles.
Margaret Stohl is an award‑winning, #1 New York Times bestselling author, comic‑book writer, and video‑game creator. Born in Pasadena and now based in Santa Monica, she has written over a dozen novels—most notably the Beautiful Creatures series—and contributed acclaimed works to Marvel Comics such as Black Widow: Forever Red and Life of Captain Marvel . Before establishing herself in publishing, she spent 16 years in the gaming industry—co‑founding 7 Studios and serving as creative director—drawing on that experience to help craft narrative worlds . A co‑founder of two major teen book festivals, YALLFest and YALLWest, she continues to champion youth literacy and empower readers of all ages. Margaret is the Co-Founder & CEO of Stone Kite, an in-stealth, world building studio.
