Kathy Kayse, Chief Media Strategy & Partnerships Officer, The Ad Council: Kathleen Kayse is Chief Media Strategy & Partnerships Officer at the Ad Council, the national nonprofit organization that mobilizes the energy and talents of the communications industry to make a measurable impact on the most critical social issues of today. In her role, Kathleen leads the strategy, outreach and partnerships for more than 30 national social good campaigns, securing over $1 billion in donated media annually across linear and digital platforms. Over the course of its more than 75-year history, the Ad Council has created many of the most iconic public service campaigns in U.S. history — from Smokey Bear and “Friends Don’t Let Friends Drive Drunk” to the viral phenomenon “Love Has No Labels.” Kathleen oversees the Ad Council’s relationships with media agencies and partners, as well as the organization’s Media Advisory Council, comprised of experts in the industry. An accomplished media and advertising executive, Kathleen has strategically transformed businesses and brands at every step of her career. She joined the Ad Council from Yahoo, where she served as Vice President of Sales Strategy and Solutions. She also spearheaded the historic launch of the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) and Oprah.com as Executive Vice President of Advertising Sales at OWN. Previously, Kathleen served as EVP of Sales at AOL and Publisher of both People and Money. A committed advocate for female advancement in business, Kathleen is the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Women Sports Foundation and she previously served on the Board for the New York Advertising Club and as a mentor through She Runs It (Advertising Women of New York). Kathleen has been named a “Woman to Watch” by Ad Age. A graduate of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, she currently resides in New York City with her partner and two children.

 

Alexandra Devlin is an agent in WME’s Digital Media department, specializing in connecting digital-native clients to top brands. She represents leading talent in the space, such as David Dobrik, Benito Skinner, The Dolan Twins and Mixed Makeup. Prior to WME, Devlin served as an executive vice president at Light Switch Digital and prior to that, worked as a talent manager at Digital Brand Architects, focusing on negotiating and securing branded deals for digital influencers and building influencer ambassador programs for major brands. A graduate of Emerson College, Devlin currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.

 

Jennifer Perri is the Vice President of the Univision Creator Network (UCN). In 2015, Jen launched the UCN, the leading influencer network for US Hispanics which carries on average 60 million monthly views in the US on YouTube. In her role, Jen has led the charge of cross platform integration of influencers and has also facilitated and executed multiplatform influencer campaigns for brands including Coca Cola,T-Mobile, Target and Universal that live on the Creator Network as well as Univision linear platforms including Despierta America, Nuestra Belleza Latina and Univision Deportes. Jen is an expert in YouTube network development, brand integration, audience development, digital content strategy and influencer management. Since 2010, Jen has launched and developed networks for Seventeen Magazine, Collective Digital Studios (now Studio71) and co-founded BigFrame (acquired by Awesomeness TV). Prior to working in the influencer space, Jen was part of the Vanguard producing team at Current TV, an Emmy nominated and Peabody award winning series. In 2007, Current TV won the first Emmy award for Best Interactive Television Series at the Primetime Emmy Awards. Jen is also currently an Education Director at the National Hispanic Institute, an organization focused on advancing the leadership skills and community social entrepreneurship of Latinx students. She previously attended NHI programs as a High School student and has since returned as a volunteer and alumni mentor. Jen has a B.A. degree from the University of San Francisco and currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.

 

Sam Christie, West Coast Lead - Global Business Solutions, TikTok US: Sam Christie oversees TikTok's brand partnerships team on the West Coast where he's focused on building a world-class sales team and helping brand and agency partners meaningfully engage the TikTok community. Prior to TikTok, Sam spent 10+ years in key business development and account management roles with global digital agencies including Ogilvy and OMD, helping notable brands such as Apple, DuPont, and more build out their digital and content-led marketing strategies. In addition, Sam served in business development roles at eBay Enterprise, eBay's internal digital agency - building deeper e-commerce capabilities for leading digital retailers.

 

Chris Sawtelle heads up digital ventures at ICM Partners, one of world's leading talent agencies. He represents a diverse roster that includes management company TalentX Entertainment, home to the internet’s biggest social media influencers as well as TikTok collective Sway LA, Lana Condor, Jordan Firstman, Sienna Mae Gomez, YouTube stars The Try Guys and King Vader and viral VFX wunderkind Julian Bass. Prior to joining ICM, Sawtelle spent four years at Anonymous Content representing writers, directors, and actors, developing scripted and non-scripted projects for talent and leading social media and digital initiatives on behalf of the company.

 

Sybil Grieb is a digital marketing strategist with over 15 years of experience representing clients from Starbucks, Samsung and Activision, to fast moving startups and new brands. She is the founder and CEO of 100Hats.co which focuses on brand strategy, social media, and influencer marketing. Prior to founding her own company, she was the U.S. Head of Influencer Marketing at Edelman, the largest privately owned PR company in the world.
