Brian Norris is executive vice president and chief revenue officer for The E.W. Scripps Company. Before joining Scripps in August 2023, Brian led NBC Universal’s SMB growth division as senior vice president. In this role, he led the sales team responsible for leveraging NBCUniversal’s suite of premium content and advanced advertising capabilities to assist small and medium-sized businesses scale beyond social media. Prior to that, Brian built NBCUniversal’s first business development and sales team dedicated to the direct-to-consumer and mid-market category as senior vice president of direct-to-scale and commerce partnerships. Brian previously led media sales for DISH Network and Sling TV. He joined DISH in 2008 to help launch DISH Media Sales’ flagship office in New York. Earlier in his career, he held sales roles with Viacom and Lifetime Entertainment Services.
Melissa Berger, Chief Solutions Officer at Digitas, is a seasoned industry leader with over 20 years of experience in multichannel marketing, CRM, digital strategy, and database marketing. In her role, Melissa leads the scaling of existing products and services while driving the development of new offerings to address client challenges and foster innovation within the Digitas and Publicis Groupe portfolio. Melissa has successfully introduced growth strategies, advocating solutions such as S.W.A.T. (Share Worthy and Trending, Digitas’ marquee social service), Digitas AI, and DEI solutions. She is also an active member of the Digitas Multicultural Center of Excellence, a group of SMEs behind Sephora’s award-winning productions The Beauty of Blackness and The Foundation of Belleza. Prior to this role, Melissa was Digitas’ EVP of Connections Strategy and CRM and loyalty lead, where she successfully built out the agency’s CRM and loyalty practice while cultivating long-standing client relationships and new business wins. Under her leadership, she oversaw the development of the Connect IQ tool, which helps clients to assess the potential revenue opportunities that brands could capture across an optimized networked experience. Recognized as an award-winning thought leader, Melissa has shared her expertise at prestigious industry events such as CES and the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. She co-hosts the popular podcast Spilling the LoyalTea, exploring the convergence of CRM and Commerce. Beyond her professional achievements, Melissa is actively involved in empowering women through her leadership in Women at Digitas and mentoring aspiring women in the marketing field at Duke University.
Adam Waltuch is the Executive Vice President of Global Distribution and Partnerships at TelevisaUnivision, the world’s leading Spanish-language media company. In this role, Waltuch is responsible for global distribution of the company’s linear and streaming properties, including distribution and partner marketing for domestic and international linear channels and business development for the company’s streaming service, ViX. Since joining TelevisaUnivision in 2022, Waltuch has been the architect of ViX’s distribution strategy, driving critical partnerships that have made it one of the most widely distributed services in the world. He oversaw some of the most robust SVOD deals in the industry with partners like T-Mobile, Tigo, Izzi and Verizon as well as developed new channels of distribution and markets for the company’s linear offering in Mexico and across the world. Previously, Waltuch was the Director of Partner Marketing for U.S. and Canada at Netflix. During his nearly six-year tenure, he held several roles with increasing responsibility, including Head of Marketing Partnerships for Latin America, where he developed distribution and brand partnerships. Waltuch led a high-performing team during Netflix’s exponential growth across the region, managing relationships with MVPDs, Telcos, Operators, and several consumer brands. Prior to Netflix, Waltuch was an executive at Google, where he spent time in the Buenos Aires, Santiago, and Mountain View offices leading teams that managed products like Google Cloud and AdWords. Waltuch earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of San Andres in Argentina. He is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
Courtney Howell. Head of Agency Development, Samsung Ads: Courtney Howell is the Head of Agency Development at Samsung Ads, where she oversees strategic partnerships with US agency holding companies. She is responsible for fostering long-term relationships with the agency community, as well as setting strategy to deliver value through the development of data-driven products, integrations and solutions to meet the evolving needs of the advertising agency community and agency-managed clients that deliver results. Prior to joining Samsung Ads, Courtney held senior positions at notable organizations, including The Hill, where she served as the Senior Vice President of Sales & Business Development, PureWow, where she was a founding member and served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing, acquired by VaynerX in 2017, and WhoSay Inc., where she served as the Vice President of Sales & Strategy. Notably, Courtney played a pivotal role in leading WhoSay Inc. during its acquisition by ViacomCBS (now Paramount) in 2018. With a wealth of experience in sales leadership, agency development, business development, and operations, Courtney has made significant contributions to startups and Fortune 500 companies throughout her career. Courtney is one of the founding members of Women+, Samsung Ads' ERG (Employee Resource Group) dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization. She actively serves on the Board of Directors for this group. Courtney has a master’s degree in Business Administration from West Virginia University's John Chambers College of Business & Economics.
Sara Livingston is the VP, Global Platform Strategy and Partnerships at Fandom, where she will lead platform strategy & monetization to drive revenue growth across all channels, own the ad platform’s business strategy and execution—including FanDNA Helix and key growth initiatives—and spearhead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that align the sales, marketing, and product teams. In this capacity, Livingston is also responsible for partnering with product and tech to champion innovative solutions, prioritize and track strategic projects, and ensure seamless communication. Livingston is based in New York and reports directly to Jeremy Steinberg, Chief Revenue Officer at Fandom. Prior to Fandom, Livingston was Head of Operations at Narrative I/O, and VP of Product Strategy at Turner Broadcasting System. In her early career, Livingston held the positions of VP, Enterprise Solutions and Measurement and Director of Marketer Solutions at The Weather Company where she aided in launching the leading data targeting platform at the time. In a career spanning over a decade, Livingston has focused on platform strategy, monetization, and partnerships—leading revenue-driving ad platform execution, cross‑functional strategic initiatives, and innovative collaboration with product and tech. Livingston holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Economics from the University of Michigan.
Mark Kapczynski has a successful track record as a serial entrepreneur, chief executive, and cross-industry expert. He serves as an Executive Director of the UCLA Venture Capital Fund, helping to foster innovation connected to the university. Programs include early stage investing, mentoring, and access to Intellectual Property from university patents. Mr. Kapczynski advises startup businesses as part of the LA Chamber of Commerce’s Bixel Exchange. In this role, Mr. Kapczynski assists technology startups in Southern California to design their businesses, build out their teams and raise capital to fuel their growth. He also serves as a Venture Partner for Arrowroot Capital in Santa Monica, CA. At Arrowroot, Mr. Kapczynski focuses on investments in the SaaS market in need of growth capital to further develop their businesses. The areas that Mr. Kapczynski addresses are Big Data & Analytics, Financial Services, and Consumer Internet. Mr. Kapczynski last served as VP of Corporate Development and Strategy for Experian's consumer businesses which include leading consumer brands: Experian, FreeCreditReport.com, and ProtectMyID. Through executing on over 8 M&A transactions, Mr. Kapczynski helped to facilitate Experian’s under-lying growth and profitability. Mr. Kapczynski graduated from UCLA film school and continues to be active in multiple industry associations that span media, mobile telecom, technology, and consumer internet. He has 12 patents to his name and an additional 40 patents pending.
