The Goal: To create a yearly gathering place for an international community of faculty and administrators in entertainment, media studies, production and technology to explore, to share and to help integrate the process of global media and entertainment education with the professional digital media experience. By being held in conjunction with Digital Hollywood, "The University Project" will immediately expose and introduce its participants to the three days of sessions and the thousands of professionals in the entertainment and technology industries already in attendance at this traditional gathering place in Los Angeles.
The "University Project" is a work-in-progress. As such, the Department of Entertainment Studies is interested in taking suggestions from attendees on how continue to develop new professional/educational connections and affiliations (and supplement existing ones) beyond the Digital Hollywoods conferences.
Corporate Involvement - The University Project will look for creative ideas in corporate development, looking toward the future of entertainment and technology organizations and exploring their relationships with University and College programs, from scholarship to co-development concepts. "The University Project" will also be seeking Corporate Sponsorships for this and future events. Please call Victor Harwood - 212-352-9720.
