Digital Hollywood Spring, March, 2006 Speaker Gary Deutsch, General Manager, Mobile Applications, Bell Labs Gary Deutsch is GM of an incubator group within Bells Labs focused on mobile applications,particularly new technologies that will enhance the functionality of location based services (LBS), as well as optimize the interaction between applications and the network resources that provide location information. Prior to Lucent, Gary was SVP of Marketing and Strategy for AGT, a marketing services firm, and he was one of the orginal executives of Ztango, the wireless applications firm that is now part of Widerthan. Gary holds an MBA from Wharton.
