Digital Hollywood Spring, March, 2006 Speaker Ahmad Ouri, President, Chief Technology Officer, Thomson Services Division Ahmad Ouri, President, Chief Technology Officer, Thomson Services Division: Ahmad Ouri is Chief Technology officer for Thomson’s Services division, which includes all the Technicolor business units. Since joining Technicolor in 2002, Ahmad has been responsible for defining strategy and managing advanced technology relationships with Hollywood studios and other content owners as it relates to content distribution, content security, digital cinema and high-definition optical disc. Prior to his current position, Ahmad was President of Technicolor Digital Cinema where he was responsible for planning and executing agreements for a digital cinema rollout plan involving the Hollywood studios and U.S. exhibitors. He was also responsible for development of digital cinema services. Previous to Technicolor, Ahmad was Vice President and General Manager of MP4Net, a Business Unit of Philips Digital Networks, supplying standard-based MPEG-4 streaming solutions for IP delivery over wired and wireless networks. Ahmad holds two Bachelor of Science Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics and two Masters Degrees in Engineering (Instrumentation) and Business (MBA) from the University of Utah.
