The Industry Awards To Recognize the Highest Standards of Achievement in On-Demand Entertainment & Technology
The Nominating Rules & Information
1. You or your company must have attended at least one Digital Hollywood, CES or NCTA event in the past two years, participated in the speaker selection process or be registered for the DH spring 2005 to be eligible to nominate a party for an award or vote to select finalists in the voting categories.
2. You may nominate either a corporation or a natural person (Party).
3. You should nominate a Party only in those categories in which you have reasonable knowledge of both the Party and the "state of the art".
4. Nominations may be made only by individuals - please note that you may nominate your employer for an award.
5. The number of nominations will not impact selection of a Party as finalist, as such, please limit nominations within an organization of the same party, product or company in any one Category.
6. Entry Deadline form nominations deadline has been extended to Friday, February 11, 2005.
7. At the conclusion of the nominee process, the nominee committee will post the "Preliminary Nominees" with a maximum of 10 in each Voting Category. This group will be posted on the Digital Hollywood site for voting by any party who meets the criterion set forth in paragraph 1. You don’t need to nominate a party or parties to vote. Voting shall begin on February 28, 2005 and continue through Friday, March 11, 2005. On March 21th 2005, the finalists shall be posted on the Digital Hollywood website. Winners will be determined by the voting of the Awards Committee and will be announced at the awards ceremony on March 31, 2005.
8. The vote by the Digital Hollywood community "at large" will be advisory in nature, and shall assist in narrowing the entries for review and final selection by the committee.
9. There shall be no monetary compensation associated with winning of an award, such award being solely one of recognition. NODA, the OnDemandies and Digital Hollywood shall bear no responsibility for the selection process, as both voting and committee selection processes are based on subjective review by the Digital Hollywood community at large and the committee.
10. Incomplete nominations may be rejected and the nominating committee, its Chair and Co-Chairs, shall have the absolute control and final authority regarding all phases of the selection process.
