Michael Terpin, Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO, Internet Wire: Michael Terpin is a 20-year high technology public relations veteran. Prior to founding Email Shows, Evans served as an executive producer at America Online in Washington, DC. He was extensively involved with launching AOL into both Canada and the United Kingdom. During his tenure with AOL, he created over 130 content programs and developed strategic partnerships in the USA, Canada and internationally, including: BBC, Corel, Dow Jones, Financial Times, International Herald Tribune, Intuit, Lonely Planet, McGraw-Hill, Mirror Group (The Independent, Daily Mirror), Molson, NTN Games, New York Times, Parent Soup/iVillage, Planet Out, Reuters, Southam (Hollinger Inc), SportslineUSA, The Economist, The Knot, and Wimbledon Tennis. Previously, Evans served as a senior producer for the BBC in London, responsible for integrating TV, Radio, CD-ROM and Internet activities. Prior to that, Evans was a scientific advisor to the UK Government on multimedia and education, serving on two Parliamentary committees. He was also a senior lecturer teaching advanced computer engineering at universities in the UK and Asia. Evans actually started his professional life at age 16, creating a small company that designed and manufactured electronic musical instruments. The company ran for two years and developed one of the worlds first digital delay line studio effects processors. He later built a small digital recording studio and formed a band, 110-Grain Award whose album was released at the Philadelphia Music Conference. Evans holds a degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of East Anglica, Norwich, England. Barak Kassar founded and serves as CEO of INBOXTV Corporation---the leadi ng technology company focused on the way people view and share digital media. Barak is a 12-year veteran of traditional and new media. Prior to INBOXTV, he served as a marketing executive at Wink Communications, (NASDAQ: WINK) where he helped build broad industry support for interactive TV by working with companies such as NBC and Time Warner. He holds a BA from UC Berkeley and an MBA from UC Davis. |
