Mark McNeely, founder and Advisory Committee Chairman, Qpass, Moderator Steven Abraham is Managing Partner of consulting services for PricewaterhouseCoopers Entertainment and Media Practice. Abraham joined Price Waterhouse in 1981, and has 20 years of experience in change management, business process reengineering, and the planning, design and implementation of large-scale information systems. He has helped many of the world's major entertainment and media companies improve their business infrastructure and systems, particularly in the theatrical, home video, studio operations, theme parks, consumer products, licensing and retail segments. Abraham is also heavily involved with multimedia and interactive technologies and their applications to the entertainment and media business. Prior to joining the firm, Abraham was Manager of Software Development at Xerox Corporation, where he developed leading-edge products incorporating graphical user interfaces and advanced networking and database technologies. Abraham is a member of the Society of Information Management (SIM), a member of SIM's National Informational Infrastructure Advisory Council, and a Board Member of University of Southern California's Entertainment Technology Center. George Kembel, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, DoDots: George Kembel, a DoDots co-founder, has experience starting and managing successful companies, most recently as founder and president of ENGAJE Corporation. The firm attracted numerous Fortune 500 and prestigious clients, GVO, LeapFrog, and Interval Research. Previously, as a marketing engineer at the Intel Architecture Lab, George worked on new software technology and conducted frequent press, customer and conference briefings. He has received two national awards for excellence in engineering design. George holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford and a M.S.E. degree in Product Design with focus on high-technology marketing and corporate strategy, also from Stanford. Robert Griffin, President and CEO, eMotion:Mr. Griffin joined PNI in January 1998. He is a senior executive with more than 20 years progressive consulting and management experience. He has been involved with building and leading consulting and systems integration organizations, corporate and enterprise business re-engineering, and executive leadership since 1973. During his 16 years at Digital Equipment Corporation, Mr. Griffin was the Vice President and CIO for the Accounts Business Unit, a $2 billion division that focused on Digital's largest corporate clients. Prior to that he held the position of Eastern Region Vice President for Digital Consulting, responsible for a 700 person organization with over $250 million of annual billings. In 1993, Mr. Griffin was selected to build the World-wide Media Business Segment, part of Digital's new Customer Business Unit. Mr. Griffin managed a worldwide organization that worked with Clients, Partners and Chief Executives to develop and deliver solutions, strategies and programs focused on the Media industries. In 1995, as an executive vice president and corporate officer for Norstan Communications, Mr. Griffin was recruited to build a Systems Integration Division focused on providing a full suite of integrated solutions around voice, video and data. During his tenure at Norstan Mr. Griffin's division grew in revenue 50% quarter over quarter. Mr. Griffin was one of the founding partners of Internet Business Advantages, Inc., a professional services company with the focus on creating business advantages using Internet technology within and between companies, organizations, and individuals. Mr. Griffin did his undergraduate studies in Business Management at Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire. He has completed the Advanced International Management Program at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. Mark McNeely, Founder & Chairman of Advisory Committee, Qpass: Mark is the fo rmer chairman of Cole & Weber, a subsidiary of Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide. An expert in product positioning and new product launches, Mark helped craft the repositioning of AT&T, the launch of the Ford Taurus, the introduction of Seagram's Wine Cooler, and the introduction of Boeing's 777. He was the head of Strategic Planning for Ogilvy & Mather, and a member of Ogilvy's New York Board of Directors. Mark is also a founder of Laptop Lane, Ltd, Mark holds a BA (USC) and MBA (Harvard). |
