Kevin Corbett, Vice President & Chief Technology Officer, Desktop Platforms Group, Intel Corporation: Kevin Corbett, Vice President & Chief Technology Officer, Desktop Platforms Group, Intel Corporation: Kevin Corbett is the architect behind Intel Corporation’s initiative to make the digital home a reality for consumers worldwide. Corbett believes PCs and consumer electronics devices should work together so that people can enjoy their music, movies, games, photos, communication and information on any device from anywhere in, around and outside the home. In his role as Chief Technology Officer for the Desktop Platforms Group at Intel, Corbett is responsible for helping to accelerate the development of interoperable products that will deliver this exciting new consumer capability. Corbett is working with companies across the computing, consumer electronics and content industries to create industry standard technologies as well as fostering new business models that will create new business opportunities for content owners and will ultimately result in consumers being able to share digital content among networked consumer electronics, mobile devices and PCs. Intel is enabling the digital home by providing a broad range of building blocks for digital home devices and platforms including silicon, boards, platform reference designs and software solutions for media center PCs, entertainment PCs, advanced digital set-top boxes, digital media adapters, portable media players, mobile PCs, cell phones, PDAs and other CE devices. Corbett has held a variety of positions at Intel including roles with the Intel Sales and Marketing organization and most recently as Director of Marketing and Strategic Planning for the Desktop Platforms Group before being named as DPG’s CTO in January 2004. Prior to joining Intel in 1992, Corbett worked for Abbott Laboratories in a variety of positions including business planning and engineering.

Bob Gregory,
Director of Initiatives Planning, Desktop Platforms Group, Intel Corporation: Bob Gregory is Director of Initiatives Planning for Intel’s Desktop Platforms Group. In this role, he leads an organization responsible for the digital home and PC platform initiatives. This includes ecosystem development, marketing programs and working with cross-industry leaders and working groups to create specifications and guidelines. Previously Gregory has had responsibilities in various strategic planning, product marketing and industry initiative marketing roles for Intel. He has helped launch several successful industry initiatives including the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA), PCI Express, PCI, AGP and Universal Serial Bus (USB). Prior to joining Intel in 1993, Gregory worked at Compaq Computer Corporation and Panasonic Company. Gregory holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University and an M.B.A from Fairleigh Dickenson University.

Russ Campbell
is a Product Marketing Engineer responsible for Intel digital home technologies. In this role, he is responsible for worldwide training events to educate developers about Intel and industry specifications. Russ also manages the Intel Networked Media Product Requirements validation program to verify digital home product interoperability. Prior to this position, Russ was responsible for showcasing new Intel technologies by managing the Intel Concept PC program. As an Intel employee since 1994, he has held other positions in marketing and program management

Sandip H. Mandera, Digital Home Evangelist/Staff Technical Marketing Engineer Software & Solutions, Intel Corporation: Sandip H. Mandera is responsible for enabling ISVs on digital home technologies (UPnP, DTCP/IP), developing enabling strategies and evangelizing digital home technologies. He has over 8 years of experience in software and technical marketing combined. In the past, he led Intel's marketing representation on Web services standards - UDDI.org and later OASIS UDDI during 2002 and 2003. He has spoken at leading conferences like Software Development Conference & Web Services World XML and Web Services Conference, contributed to a book chapter in the notable XML Handbook (5th edition) and his articles have appeared in leading magazines like IDS, DevX and JavaWorld. He holds an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University, M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington and a B. Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Regional Engineering College, Calicut, India.

Gary N. Matos, Market Development Manager, Industry Enabling, Desktop Platform Group, Intel Corporation: Gary Matos is the Market Development Manager for Intel’s Desktop Platform Group. He is responsible for strategic product planning, definition, and marketing with an emphasis on the Digital Home. Gary also drives industry enabling with ODMs, PC OEMs, ISVs, and Service Providers. Prior to his current position, Gary was the Product Line Manager for Intel’s AnyPoint™ Network Adapters and Gateways. He also served as the operations manager for Intel’s Small Business Network and Home Networking Operations where his organizations delivered worldwide manufacturing capabilities and distribution channels. As an Intel employee since 1987, Gary has held other positions at Intel in engineering and program management. Gary has spoken on Digital Home Market Development at analyst debriefings, press interviews, and at Intel’s Developers Forum. He has also addressed audiences at Internet World, Digital Home, e-Show, Broadband Home, and iWireless World. Gary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Long Beach State University in California.
