The Israeli technology industry is second to none in its contribution to the development of Internet, computer, biotech and telecommunication technologies. From its university and scientific establishments to the commitment from government and venture investment, the research infrastructure of Israel has led to worldwide co-ventures, on-going generations of technology start-ups as well as partnerships with the leading computer and telecommunication companies in the world. In this session, we will take a look at the achievements of the Israeli technology industries, the current state of investment by government and the investment community and the extent to which the country’s commitment to technology has set the stage for the next generation of technology.
