Session B:
Canadian Entertainment Globalization Infrastructure: From Co-Production and Financing to Education and Incubating
Canada is the prime example of a country taking leadership in the globalization of its entertainment and technology industries. As much as any country, it has developed international entertainment industry trading relationships, incentivized co-production, encouraged foreign investment, negotiated labor relations and generally has unique relationships and awareness in all key levels of government to enhance its world entertainment position. And this long term policy has paid off in huge dividends. Canada is a primary player on the world film, television, music and technology map. We are pleased in this session, to welcome representatives of the Canadian government and entertainment executives who play key roles in how the entertainment industries of Canada interface on a global scale.
