Session A:
Producing Films in a Global Environment – When Content & Image Supercede Cultural Boundaries & Institutions
More than ever, film is proving itself to be an international language which crosses all cultures and barriers. In this session, we celebrate the power of film as global entertainment, as a universal voice understood and loved by all, as a medium which translates into all languages and brings divergent creative forces together before a world audience. Film is a completely international experience, from its development and financing to its production and distribution. The complexity of producing a film reaches into every phase of its lifecycle, making it more than ever, an internationally collaborative expression. In this session, we bring together the producers, the filmmakers who represent vast experience in their approaches to the filmmaking process, from financing to production and distribution. We are honored to have them join us.
