Session A:
The Digitized World – Technology Infrastructure as the Stimulus to Entertainment Content Distribution and Growth
As the global technology infrastructure goes, so goes the entertainment industry. The link between the expansion of the digital world and the further penetration of entertainment industries is direct. As cable and telecommunications, broadband and Internet, satellite and wireless technologies become ubiquitous in a culture, the expansion of the entertainment industries can not be far behind. In this session we will test this proposition, placing it before representatives of the largest world technology organizations. As their companies invest in and partner with countries, their governments and industries around the world, we are likely to better understand how international entertainment growth will proceed.
