This is a result of both the maturing of broadcast television technology as well as the increasing sophistication and demands of audiences. Mr. Reed was also: Vice President and founder of CDI, a marketing consulting firm whose customers included Novell, Micropolis, Creative Labs and others; Vice President and co-founder of Paradygm Concepts, Inc.; and Director of Marketing for Sigma Designs where he worked closely with associate Eric Yao to develop network video and streaming technologies in concert with leading network media companies. Reed is listed in Who's Who for Computers and Technology as well as Media and Communications. He is the recipient of numerous industry awards including the "Best of PR" award from High Technology News and the Top Ten Advertising Award from Cahners Publishing and McGraw Hill. Reed is a former SEAL-trained U.S. Navy Diver and holds a BBA in Marketing from San Diego National University.Teresa (Terry) Ragan, Director Product & Strategic Marketing, Discreet: Terry Ragan is Discreet director of product and strategic marketing. She is responsible for the planning, analysis, design, management, and execution of product and strategic marketing initiatives for Discreet's range of editing, effects, animation and infrastructure solutions. Prior to joining Discreet in 1998, Terry headed up marketing at Synapix, Inc., and also held positions at Avid Technology in Tewsbury, MA and in London, England as senior product manager and product marketing manager. Other roles included positions as senior systems engineer at INTERSOLV Corp. (formerly Index Technology) and as a systems engineer at General Electric. Terry has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic University and a Masters in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
