Steve Jang, VP, Marketing and Business Development, imeem: With experience in helping to build several internet startups and to execute digital media strategy at large companies, Steve focuses on strategic alliances, product planning, and consumer marketing for the imeem service. Prior to joining imeem, Steve was Director of Digital Business Development at EMI Music, where he worked on global digital partnerships and new platforms strategy. Over the course of his career, Steve has worked in business development, marketing and research roles at Kyocera Wireless, Xuma (Dell and Intel venture), WR Hambrecht & Co., and Salon.com. Steve holds a B.A. from UC Berkeley and an MBA from the University of Southern California. For fun, Steve programmed in Pascal as a child, but now spends his free time seeking out surf breaks in California and Hawaii and producing live music shows.

Vassil Mladjov, founder and ceo, Blogtronix: Vassil is a novel entrepreneur with over 10 years of executive and technical startup experience focusing on business collaboration with the latest web technologies. Vassil started working with computers and software development in the early 1980’s. While still in high-school, he developed a number of applications including calendars, information directory service and computer-based text advertising systems. Most recently, Vassil Mladjov founded Blogtronix with George Athannassov. Blogtronix is a Web 2.0 startup focusing on enterprise community blogging, wikis and social networking. In early 2002, Mladjov founded StreamingMarketplace.com, an on-line exchange focusing on streaming media technology and services. Over the years he has created new business models for the digital media industry and has worked closely with Microsoft, Apple, Akamai, Speedera, PBS, Charles Schwab, Sun Microsystems and Wells Fargo. Vassil Mladjov has also worked as a CTO for AlwaysOn Network, VP and director of technology for corporate communications at ABN AMRO Bank, VP and CIO for ITN where he was in charge of media streaming operations, media hosting and biz development, and as technology consultant with UB Group, Preferred Technology, and Sage Clearing. After graduating from SFSU with Finance in 1999, Vassil worked on a startup with Sun Microsystems’ executives for offering business software over the Internet as a service (today know as SaaS) via Web terminals.

Dan Farber is vice-president of editorial at CNET Networks and editor in chief of ZDNet. Dan has more than 20 years of experience as an editor and journalist covering technology. He joined ZDNet in 1996, and led the development of ZDNet's worldwide network of more than 70 technology-focused sites. Prior to joining ZDNet, Dan served as vice president and editor-in-chief at Ziff-Davis' flagship computing news publications, PC Week and MacWeek. He was also a founding editor at MacWorld and part of the editorial staffs of PC World and PC Magazine.

Robin Hopper, is the CEO and founder of iUpload. Robin's professional background combines extensive startup experience with years of software development and professional services delivery and management. Robin served as VP Strategy for Ibex Technologies Inc. - the market leader fax-on-demand software from 1992 to 1998. During his tenure he helped define the document delivery and content management strategy for organizations like MCI, Bell Canada, Microsoft, Air Canada, IBM, Dell, and Canada Post. Having helped take Ibex from start up to successful acquisition by Castelle Corporation in 1997, Robin leveraged his document management experience and fulfilled his vision for web content management by founding iUpload.







Seth Sternberg,
Co-Founder, meebo: Seth is responsible for all things business at meebo, a three-person start-up which he co-founded with Elaine Wherry – the Ajax guru; and Sandy Jen - Server side programming. Prior to meebo, Seth worked at IBM in Corporate Development leading M&A transactions and working on strategy and venture capital initiatives. Seth flies airplanes, rides motorcycles and rollerblades. Seth majored in Political Science at Yale.
