The Goal: It is the intent of the The Web, Social Networks and the Net Economy Consortium to help facilitate and accelerate the web, social networks and net economy as a significant entry in the great tradition of innovation from Hollywood, the entertainment and information industries. The "Consortium" will seek to accelerate projects, through meetings and "Creative Retreats" throughout the year. To that end, the "Consortium" will be holding a VIP Dinner (by invitation) at Building Blocks 2006, on Tuesday, August 15th at 6:45 PM - at the Marriott San Jose Hotel.
