Brian Richards, Managing Partner, Mesa: Brian has been with MESA since 2003, where he has led a
broad range of investment banking, strategy and valuation engagements for companies across all segments of the media and entertainment industries. Brian has expertise within a number of traditional and digital media sectors, including music publishing, film, online media, digital content production and distribution, stock photography, consumer and business publishing, and television production.

Gil Beyda, Managing Partner, Genacast Ventures: Gil is a seasoned
entrepreneur turned venture capitalist. Gil launched his first company Mind Games in 1982 to develop games for the original Apple II. Gil then started a software consulting firm with Fortune 100 clients in the U.S., Asia and Europe. In 1995, Gil helped pioneer Internet advertising by founding Real Media, the first online ad network and ad server company. After Real Media was acquired in 2001, Gil pioneered the next wave of online advertising as CTO of TACODA, the first behavioral targeting, ad network. Following AOL’s acquisition of TACODA in 2007, Gil founded Genacast Ventures.













Blake Bartlett is a vice president in Battery Venture's Boston office. He focuses on private equity investments, including growth equity, buyouts, rollups, PIPES and take-privates. He is involved in Backplane, Glassdoor, Kontagent, Mass Relevance, Optimizely, Sprinklr, Tealium, VSS Monitoring, and Wayfair (formerly CSN Stores). Prior to Battery, he was an Associate at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors in the Growth Private Equity Group, where he helped to source, evaluate and execute investment opportunities in the software and services sectors.

Marla Backer, founder Research Associates: Marla Backer has over 15 years of sell-side research experience, having begun her financial research career at Oppenheimer and Morgan Stanley. She has been recognized by the Wall Street Journal's "Best on the Street" and Institutional Investor's analyst ranking survey. Marla founded and runs her own independent research boutique Research Associates, where she focuses on the digital media sector. Prior to that, she held senior research positions at Salomon Brothers, ING Barings and Bear Stearns. Marla holds a B.A. in economics from Swarthmore College and is also a Masters of Business Administration candidate at New York University.

Robert Raciti is a Managing Director of The Silverfern Group and runs the firm's Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) practice. He has over 25 years of experience in the Media, Communications and Technology sectors, as well as over 12 years of capital raising experience. Prior to joining Silverfern, Robert was the Senior Vice President with GE Capital's Media, Communications, and Entertainment group where he provided industry expertise to financial sponsors and internal GE underwriting teams. While at GE, he provided industry diligence to over 600 transactions of which 90 were consummated, representing $8 billion in funded deal volume. His thought leadership enabled GE Capital to amass a $4 billion communications portfolio with no write-offs for six years (2004 through 2009). Robert holds a Ph.D. in information systems from Nova Southeastern University's School of Computer and Information Sciences, an MBA in finance and marketing from Fordham University, and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College. He also holds an Investment Banking securities license (Series 63 & 79).
