Nicole Conn, film director, producer, and screenwriter: Nicole is a prolific writer and filmmaker with a penchant for adult and dramatic story telling. Her films play into deeply personal experiences, including her award-winning documentary, little man, which she wrote, directed and produced about her own son born 100 days early and only weighing one pound. This film went on to win 12 Best Documentary Awards, along with the prestigious Cedar Sinai's Courageous Beginnings Award and Family Pride's Family Tree Award. The film made three TOP TEN FILMS OF 2005 list and Showtime picked up the feature and ran an Emmy campaign for it. Her latest film, A Perfect Ending, breaks storytelling barriers and also reflects a new paradigm in filmmaking - leveraging social web technology for funding and to expand a film's reach beyond a single audience. Nicole also is an accomplished author with five novels, a parent's guide, two teleplays, nine screenplays, and has four soundtracks to her credit.

Barbara Niven, Actress, Served on the National Board of Directors for the Screen Actors Guild: Barbara is one of Hollywood's busiest actresses, and served on the National Board of Directors for the Screen Actors Guild. She's also a popular speaker and recently joined the speaking faculty of Brian Tracy's iLearningGlobal. Barbara created the breakthrough ACT as if! system to help you put own your dreams into action. Barbara also speaks to corporations and campuses across the country about her struggle and victory over an eating disorder so that others will speak up about their own secrets and get help. She has appeared on nationally broadcast soap operas, myriad Lifetime movies and appeared in an array of television and film projects. In between film and speaking assignments, Barbara is in demand as an acting and presentation coach. She teaches speaking techniques, audition preparation and on-camera skills to a wide range of clients.

Marina Rice Bader, President and Co-Founder, Soul Kiss Films: Marina Rice Bader: President and Co-Founder of Soul Kiss Films, Marina has two passions in her life: her family and making movies. She created and co-founded Soul Kiss Films with her life partner, writer/director Nicole Conn. “Elena Undone” was her first producing project, and she loved every minute of it - she also learned what the term “wearing a lot of hats” really meant. Her second film “A Perfect Ending” was just released and she has three more films in development. Marina is dedicated to making films that are rich, textured, and always features strong female leads. Marina has been a Los Angeles based photographer working with celebrities, actors and children for the past two decades. Among some of her favorite clients are Hector Elizondo, Carol Channing, Val Kilmer, Wentworth Miller, Judith Light and Sir Ben Kingsley. Her transition to films, the ultimate in visual storytelling, was only a matter of time.

Cathy Brooks, Founder, Other Than That:Cathy has spent her life saturated in media - from print to broadcast and on-line. A career communications strategist, she presently operates Other Than That helping companies and individuals navigate the complexities of persuasive storytelling in business. A specialized firm, the services help guide storytelling and, more importantly, help bulletproof brands. Through workshops and strategic counsel Cathy helps identify stories and ensure long-term brand stability. To slake her thirst for content creation, Cathy blogs for myriad sites and hosts The Conversation, a weekly, on-line program that focuses on how technology is changing our world. In previously lives Cathy ran business development for San Francisco-based start-up Seesmic, worked with global analyst firm Guidewire Group. She also headed the talent and booking departments at TechTV, curated content at LeWeb for several years and has held several executive positions with PR agencies.
