Raj Amin, CEO and co-founder, HealthiNation: an award-winning health media brand that produces and distributes education and lifestyle programming available across multiple digital platforms. Prior to founding HealthiNation, Raj was an original member of the executive team at N2 Broadband, a leader in digital TV products, which was acquired in 2005 by Tandberg TV and is now a division of Ericsson. There he forged the company's relationships with media companies including HBO, Showtime, Turner Networks, MTV Networks and Warner Bros Studios and led its entry into the on-demand advertising space, helping to create new standards for on-demand advertising across the cable industry. Prior to N2 Broadband, Raj led advertising product strategy for Replay TV, an early DVR pioneer based in Silicon Valley. Raj also managed new business initiatives in digital media at Scientific-Atlanta (now a Cisco company), establishing interactive TV partnerships including Microsoft, Oracle, and IBM, and managing strategic initiatives for new consumer services such as video-on-demand and internet on TV. He currently serves as Board Member for Musicians On Call, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities around the country to promote and complement the healing process for patients, families and caregivers. He has been a Board Member for the Cable Television Association of Marketing’s New York Chapter, and was a steering member of the Innovations in Digital Advertising Program. Raj received concurrent bachelor’s degrees from the University of Pennsylvania's Management and Technology Program, through the Wharton School of Business and the Moore School of Engineering and Applied Science.

Richard Bloom, VP, Head of Publisher Network & Partnerships, AOL Video: As SVP of Business Development, Richard is responsible for biz-dev an acquisition ventures at 5min Media. Prior to joining 5min Media, Rich served as VP of Business Development and Legal Affairs at UGO Entertainment, a subsidiary of Hearst. Rich started his career as an attorney with a couple of large firms in NY, where his practice focused on media and entertainment law.

Todd Bender, Vice President, Business Development, TidalTV: In his previous role as vice president of business development for MTV Networks Digital, Bender was responsible for bringing new business opportunities and capabilities to MTV Networks Digital’s industry-leading arsenal of digital marketing solutions. He has successfully launched and oversaw operation of the company’s Tribes ad networks and advanced audience targeting solutions. In addition, Bender played an instrumental role in the company’s recently announced strategic alliance with the Warner Music Group. Prior to joining MTV Networks, Bender was a product manager in the media division of Nokia with global responsibility for the company’s MOSH and Ovi Store products. Bender also had a five-year tenure at Digitas, where, as an associate director, he led several major digital marketing strategy, web development, online media and traditional marketing programs for American Express.




Peter LaMotte, President, GeniusRocket: The Curated Crowdsourcing model relies upon
a vetted community of experienced and professional production companies, writers, and advertising veterans to deliver high quality commercial video content at a fraction of the cost of traditional means. Prior to taking on the roll of president, Peter ran marketing and operations at GeniusRocket. He was responsible for changing the business model from its original open contest-based approach of Crowdsourcing, over to its current “Curated Crowdsourcing” model. Peter came to GeniusRocket from Corporate Executive Board where he was an executive educator for the Marketing Leadership Council and Customer Contact Council. He has worked in the Sales and Marketing divisions of IBM, Apple, and Intrepid Aviation, a spin off company of FedEx. At IBM Peter was a member of the NetGen team; IBM's first division focused on Internet based companies. He holds BA in International Business from Rhodes College, and MBA from Vanderbilt University. He taught on the subject of Creative Curation and Crowdsourcing at schools and organizations including Georgetown and American University as well as the University of Maryland.

Jake Engwerda,
Director of Business Development, MediaMind: Jake Engwerda leads MediaMind's west coast team and oversees new partnerships and business development with major advertising agencies. With over 9 years in the media marketing space, Jake specializes in true multi-channel strategy and leveraging technology to achieve communication objectives. Since joining MediaMind in early 2010, Jake has developed new client relations and formed strategic business alliances with 27 Fortune 500 companies, including 6 global advertisers. Prior to MediaMind, Jake worked as a Communication Strategist at Carat from 2008 to 2010, developing communication strategy for Pampers & Gillette. Working in both New York and Toronto he developed and launched the Pampers brand first mobile app for the iPhone and groundbreaking instore executions. Previous work experiences also include, Marketing Manager at Gentle Giant Moving Co., Agency Client Executive at Daily Mail Group and Media Planner at Starcom Worldwide. The native Australian earned his Business Degree Majoring in Marketing and Organizational Behavior at Swinburne University Melbourne, Victoria.
