Bill Rehbock, General Manager, Mobile Content, NVIDIA: Bill Rehbock was hired as the Director of Developer Relations at NVIDIA in December 2001, heading the marketing and business relationship teams that work with software developers and publishers worldwide, ensuring that games and applications are well-aligned with NVIDIA graphics and platform hardware. He launched NVIDIAs The Way Its Meant to be Played game content awareness program that has been one of the most successful platform stories in the PC industry. Previously, Bill was the Vice President of R&D and Technical Support at Sony Computer Entertainment America and was responsible for the North American PlayStation library development, Development Support, and Peripherals Licensing groups. Prior to Sony, Mr. Rehbock worked for Atari Corporation as Vice President of Software Business Development. Mr. Rehbock attended the Illinois Institute of Technology, studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
Ted Theocheung, Vice President of the PC and Digital Home Division, Synaptics: Ted Theocheung is Vice President of the PC and Digital Home Division at Synaptics. Ted oversees all PC notebook and digital home consumer electronics touch solutions including slates, remote controls, digital photo frames, and ecosystem alliances and business development. One of his groups newest gesture technologies for TouchPads, Scrybe, is a next generation technology that enables users to complete entire tasks all through touch. A veteran entrepreneur, Ted was Vice President of Marketing for several startups including Mirra, a digital media solution acquired by Seagate, Digital Media analyst at TDG, and venture investor with Sand Hill Angels. Ted has more than fifteen years of experience in executive roles in strategy, corporate development and alliances and business unit responsibility at Hewlett-Packard for consumer and corporate PCs, internet, handheld devices, software, and printers. Ted received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University and also attended Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Jason Henderson, Games & Music Services Product Manager, Verizon: Jason Henderson, Games & Music Services Product Manager, Verizon. Jason Henderson joined Verizon in 2005 as the companys first games product manager, and currently focuses on games and music services for the PC and TV platforms. A Texas attorney, he has spent the last 15 years in the games industry, and is credited on games as early as 1997 and as recently as 2010, with his most recent work as a screenwriter on Activision's Singularity. Henderson earned his BA from the University of Dallas and his JD from Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. His most recent novel, Alex Van Helsing: Vampire Rising from HarperCollins, has been named by the Texas Library Association to the 2011 Lone Star Reading List, a list of the top 20 books published in 2010 for middle grade readers. His next book, Alex Van Helsing: Voice of the Undead, comes out in Summer 2011.
Adi Berenson, VP Business Development and Marketing, PrimeSense: Prior to joining PrimeSense Mr. Berenson served as the International Marketing and Business Development Manager for the Mobile Multimedia Sector at Philips Semiconductors (located in Nijmegen, The Netherlands) overlooking the sectors product strategy and business plan and directly responsible for all commercial and business creation activities. Before Philips, Mr. Berenson was the CTO of Veon, Inc. located in the companys head quarters in San Francisco. Veon was a California based start-up and a pioneer in interactive video technologies. Veon was acquired by Philips in 2002.
Pete Peralta, Technology Director, LEVEL Studios: Pete Peralta serves as the Technology Director at LEVEL Studios LA and has more than 14 years experience working in technology and building technology practices. Pete combines his experience in Big 5 consulting, high growth tech startups, and Fortune 500 executive management to elevate LEVEL technology practices beyond the status quo. His unique perspectives on technology and business allow him to effectively develop successful technology solutions for a variety of brands and their products. Pete and his team are currently supporting one of the largest broadcast networks on an initiative to build their online video platform, which will serve current programming as well as 35 years of archived content across multiple devices. In addition, Pete leads several mobile developer support initiatives for a Fortune 500 technology leader. Prior to LEVEL, Pete worked for Accenture as a Senior Consultant and for CB Richard Ellis as their Director of Products. At CBRE, Pete incubated Axis, a SaaS product for commercial real estate, and served as General Manager. Prior to joining CBRE, Pete worked as the Principle Consultant at Kleiner Perkins startup Corio, and honed his software development experience at Primitive Logic. Pete earned a degree in Biomechanics at the University of Iowa and later his MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business. He approaches each day looking for opportunities to improve the way we work, live and play through creative technology practices.
Lisa Murphy, Marketing Manager, Metaio, Inc.: Lisa Murphy is the product marketing and business development manager at Metaio, Inc., a leading augmented reality technology provider. In her current endeavor, she leads the strategic direction, communication, and business development efforts for Metaio North America as well as Metaio's mobile augmented reality platform, Junaio. As one of the leading providers for professional cutting-edge Augmented Reality software since 2003, Metaio has produced: the first ever worldwide Online campaign, first adoption of AR in Live-Marketing and the first fully integrated AR mobile application. With over 300 renown clients and partners such as; Adidas, MINI Cooper, LEGO, Popular Science, Universal Orlando Resort, Volkswagen etc. Metaio serves various industries with its products and services including but not limited to; industrial, marketing, retail and e-commerce. Prior to Metaio, Lisa worked as a consultant for a variety of financial services firms, providing strategic, operational, and financial management consulting to companies in the financial, retail, and consumer products industries. Lisa holds a Bachelor's Degree in business administration from University of California, Berkeley.
Mark J. Kapczynski, Chief Operating Officer, Kontrol Media: Mark Kapczynski has a successful track record as a serial entrepreneur, chief executive and media industry expert. His current venture, Kontrol Media Corp., is an idea incubator for startups and senior professionals in the media and technology markets including Web 2.0, mobile, and television. Prior to that, he was founder and CEO of MESoft, a media and entertainment software company, for which Kapczynski raised two rounds of seed and venture capital funding exceeding $8MM. Under his leadership, the company also grew its distribution to a global level and partnered with leading IT companies, such as IBM, Sun and AMD, and media companies that include Avid, Ascent Media and Sony. Additionally, he received a patent for a digital media workflow process. From 1995 to 2002, Kapczynski worked at Microsoft Corporation as their Director of Worldwide Media & Entertainment Solutions Group. During that time, he worked with numerous digital media and internet start-ups such as Homestore (now Move.com), Movielink, and MeTV. Mark Kapczynski got his first taste at being an entrepreneur in 1993 when he founded Digital Genesis-a pioneer in the internet/e-commerce space-which was sold to publicly-traded Netgateway, Inc. (NGWY, now IIG) three years later. Mr. Kapczynski graduated from UCLA film school and continues to be active in multiple industry associations that span media, mobile telecom, technology, and Internet Web 2.0. In his free time, Mr. Kapczynski enjoys car racing and playing the drums.
