Jim Eadie, Vice President, Digital Distribution, MTV Networks: Jim Eadie is Vice President of Digital Distribution for MTV Networks. In his role, Eadie is responsible for developing content distribution strategies across mobile platforms and cultivating distribution deals with mobile operators, aggregators and emerging media platforms across MTV Networks’ diverse brands, including: CMT, COMEDY CENTRAL, Logo, MTV, Nickelodeon, The N, Spike and VH1, among others. Based in the company’s New York City headquarters, Eadie reports to Alice Kim, Senior Vice President of Digital Distribution & Partner Relations for MTV Networks. Most recently, Eadie served as Director of Business Development and Strategy for the MTV Networks Entertainment Group, which includes Comedy Central, Spike, TV Land, Gametrailers and Atom Films. In that role, Eadie led the targeting and analysis of acquisition targets, managed long-term financial planning and drove strategic initiatives, such as the launch of Spike HD. Prior to joining MTV Networks in 2006, Eadie served as an Associate in the Time Warner Corporate Strategic Planning Group and held a succession of Corporate Development and Corporate Strategy roles at AOL. He began his career as an investment banker at Alex.Brown as a financial analyst in the Technology Group. Jim holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University.

Rick Gardinier, Sr. Vice President, Chief Digital Officer, BRUNNER: Rick has over 20 years of experience in the interactive, database marketing and IT consulting industries. Rick was fortunate enough to be an early entrant within the Interactive Marketing field and through the years Rick has helped several industry leaders – companies like Liberty Mutual, Del Monte, GlaxoSmithKline, SEI Investments and Zippo – leverage technology and the online channel to improve their business results. In the early-90's he spearheaded one of the Pittsburgh region's first Intranets for a large manufacturing company. And for the past 10 years, he has led BRUNNER Digital and has helped them continue to grow to become a top, creatively driven, interactive group. Most recently Rick led his agency’s effort to develop and launch CRICKET, its proprietary measurement and research platform. Rick has a unique blend of technical and marketing experience. In addition to the many years of real world experience, he has a computer science degree as well as a marketing-focused MBA – this enables him to help firms to bridge the gap between marketing and IT, which is still often a large issue within many corporations today.

Jim Garrett is the founder and CEO of Kudzu Interactive, has propelled his company to the top of the industry with multiple remote ordering applications for major restaurant brands including Subway, Outback, CPK and others. Garrett began his career working in the communications industry with Scientific Atlanta, GTE and Harris Corporation, and then moved into a consulting role for companies looking to re-invent themselves and form strategic business initiatives involving the Internet and other advanced technologies, including Cisco, Equifax, and NET. He is credited as a pioneer behind the Internet banking industry and marketing financial services via the Internet. In 2004, Garrett started Kudzu Interactive, which today is the leading provider of remote ordering technology within the restaurant industry. The company’s flagship product, Snapfinger, representsthe single largest mobile ecommerce application connecting millions of users to thousands of restaurants for ordering and payment.

Walker Fenton, General Manager, NewsGator Media & Data Services: is resp
onsible for the company’s Widget Framework, which is used by more than 150 media clients, including USA Today, Reuters, Discovery and CBS News. In addition, he manages NewsGator’s new Related Content services, iPhone media application and its AdBurner Program. The Related Content services helps drive page views and increases user engagement on publisher sites while the AdBurner program helps monetize content where it lives. Fenton began his career in the Internet working for Netcom Online Communications, the first nationwide dial-up Internet Service Provider, and has since been involved with several start-ups including dbDoctor, Inc. and Xaffire, Inc. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Colby College and has an MBA from Regis University.

Shravan Goli, President, Dictionary.com: An internet and technology veteran, Goli manages all aspects of Dictionary.com’s business and strategy. Dictionary,com is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ask.com, acquired in 2008. Before joining Dictionary.com in late 2009, Goli was at Slide, Inc., where he was General Manager of the Media Business. He also was a General Manager at Yahoo!, overseeing operations for Yahoo! Video, and as Head of Products for Yahoo! Finance. Goli also spent 11 years at Microsoft, holding management roles within the Home & Entertainment Division, and MSN. In addition, Goli was a co-founder of Corners.in, a content-centric social networking company. Goli holds an M.B.A. from the University of Washington and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.


Steve Polsky is President and COO of Flixster Inc., an online movie and entertainment community. Flixster was launched the end of December 2005 and, in a little over two years, has grown to a top ten online movies and entertainment destination. Flixster is a leading application across Facebook, MySpace and Bebo with over 15 million monthly unique visitors actively rating, reviewing, recommending and socializing around films. Prior to Flixster, Steve's career has centered around founding, launching and managing early stage technology ventures. Steve was Founder and EVP of VoicePlex Corporation an early innovator in providing systems and services to wireless carriers in the US and overseas which was acquired in 1994 by Intervoice. Steve was also an initial team member and head of business development for Amber Networks an Internet infrastructure company acquired by Nokia in 2001. Finally, Steve was SVP of Business and Corporate Development for Edusoft, a leading provider of solutions for public schools through out the US acquired by Houghton Mifflin in 2003. Steve is a lecturer for the Wharton School of Business's Undergraduate Course in Entrepreneurship, serves on the boards of kTC Corporation and the University of Pennsylvania's Management and Technology Program. He is also actively involved in local charitable board work in San Francisco. Steve also holds five patents in the telecommunications network architecture.

Scott Neslund, CEO, Red Bricks Media: With over 20 years in the media and marketing industry, Scott brings substantial experience and knowledge to Red Bricks Media. Previously the CEO of Mindshare, he has a proven track record of revenue growth, innovation and successful leadership. Scott earned a BA in Telecommunications from Indiana University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University. His work has been recognized by Mediaweek, the Cannes Media Lion, Creativity and Effie awards, and he was named a 2008 AdAge Media Maven. Outside of his busy work schedule, Scott enjoys yearly skiing and scuba diving trips.
