Christopher Allen, General Manager, NapsterChristopher Allen serves as General Manager where he is responsible for running the day-to-day business as well as setting strategy and product direction. Allen oversees all operational aspects of the Napster service, including product management, marketing and online sales, research and development, music programming, customer care, content acquisition/clearance/reporting, user experience and design, and business intelligence. Prior to joining Napster in 2007, Allen served as Vice President, Product Strategy, Design, and Marketing at Blockbuster Online and was responsible for driving the product strategy, design and development of the Blockbuster website and overseeing the online customer experience. The online subscriber base more than doubled from 1.7M to 3.6M in nine months while gross margins increased via retail store integration, improved product mix and availability, and online efficiencies. Before joining Blockbuster, Allen served as VP of Product Strategy and Marketing at Yahoo! and was responsible for driving the global product vision and managing the strategic product and service roadmap for Yahoo! Music. A seasoned executive with over 13 years of product and marketing experience, Allen oversaw the ad-supported media and premium service lines of business and all aspects of product management and product planning for Yahoo! Music products, services, and emerging platforms. Allen joined Yahoo! in 2004 with the company's acquisition of Musicmatch. As SVP of Marketing and Strategic Planning at Musicmatch, Allen directed the overall product and consumer marketing strategy, including customer acquisition and retention strategies for premium software and subscription services. Allen managed key consumer marketing initiatives including merchandising, e-commerce, and partner marketing activities as the Musicmatch userbase exploded ten-fold in less than five years. Mr. Allen was also chartered with analyzing future product trends to evaluate integration of digital music services into emerging technologies and devices. During Allen's tenure at Musicmatch, the company received seven consecutive PC Magazine Editors' Choice awards for excellence and countless accolades for leadership in digital music products and services. Prior to joining Musicmatch in early 2000, Allen was a co-founder and head of product marketing and strategic planning at Kablink, an online photo service company. Previously, Christopher spent more than 10 years in product management at pioneering companies AT&T and NCR working on data warehouse decision support, predictive analysis, and business intelligence/CRM initiatives. Allen received a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame, an M.S. in electrical engineering and computer science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and an M.B.A. from the University of San Diego. He has competed in amateur bodybuilding and for the past 16 years has been volunteering as the head powerlifting coach for local Special Olympics athletes.

Warren Wan, Vice President, Music Product, Dada Entertainment: As VP of product management at Dada Entertainment, Warren Wan’s focus is the development and launch of the company’s new cloud-based music service Play.me (www.playme.com), a comprehensive browser-based subscription platform that gives users the freedom to stream ad-free music on-demand from their mobile (Android, iPhone), web (Mac/PC) and TV (Boxee) as well as download universally compatible MP3s. Warren came on board in 2008 as Vice President of Product Management, where he is responsible for product development and marketing. Prior to joining Dada, Warren was Vice President of Community at Thumbplay and has held strategic posts at eHarmony and Yahoo! Throughout his career, Warren has cultivated strong and diverse experience in product marketing and product strategy, with a focus on user acquisition and retention.

Robert (Leo) Rodgers - Mr. Rodgers has been in the music and entertainment business f
or 25 years, he executively produced his first album in 1985, and has either produced, or executively produced 7 more records/CD’s from 1985-2004. In the mid 90’s Mr. Rodgers was solely responsible for the licensing of one of his artist records to the U.K. that went to # 1 on the charts. He later licensed several other records that were subsequently place on the charts as well in Europe. He also attended film school in the mid eighties in order to produce his own music videos for his roster of artist. During his first year of film school he won an International Film award in the music video category from the Black Filmmakers Hall Of Fame Foundation in Oakland, Ca. In just one year later he was bestowed with “Local Video Producer of the Year” in 1989 by a local music video TV station in the SF Bay Area. He has worked in a film with Whoopie Goldberg in the mid-eighties and wrote, produced and directed his own short music montage short film that received raved reviews from a local PBS affiliate. He also directed a short film starring former 49ers Dwight Clark that aired during the S.F. 49ers vs. Denver Bronco’s halftime game. In addition he directed a music video that featured several S.F. 49ers, Jerry Rice, Roger Craig, Mike Wilson and Ronnie Lott. Mr. Rodgers has worked with, toured with and worked in the studio with artist such as; Spaceship Earth (members of Parliament Funkadelics) MC Hammer, (formerly Hammer’s road Mgr), Club Nouveau, Howard Hewlett, Bar-Kays, Rosie Gaines, Radio Personality Kevin Nash, 2Bigg MC and was credited as Tony Toni Tone’s first Promotions Director, and assisted them in the early days with some co-management duties. Alone the way, Mr. Rodgers worked in the High Tech Telecommunications and Internet industry for over 17 years and founded an Internet Licensing Company entitled “Licensedeals.com, which specialized in the licensing of apparel brands and music licensing. In the early 90’s Mr. Rodgers produced a syndicated music variety show entitled “Sounds by the Bay” which was a cross between “In Living Color” and “Star Search”, focused on highlighting un-discovered talent, alone with skits. The show was syndicated on the west coast by a PBS affiliate. In 1994 Mr. Rodgers became a little bored and collaborated with one of MC Hammer’s costume designers, James Head and Mr. Thurston Bilal, a close friend and businessman/producer. They formed StreetSmartz LTD. A street wear/denim clothing line. They setup worldwide licensing for the “Sagwear denim line. They shipped nearly 2 million in sales during the 1995-1996 first production years, and had product placed in over 500 stores worldwide. Currently, Mr. Rodgers co-owns a new upcoming high-end sportswear clothing line (Debonair) with Designer Eric Fermon and MC Hammer. Currently Mr. Rodgers is the President, Co-Founder and Executive Producer of Catalog License, LLC/Bringem Back Records, which is a music catalog licensing and record company that is distributed by Universal Music Group. Catalog License, LLC, has released over 13 CD’s through Universal Music Group. Alone the way Mr. Rodgers managed to work his way into the boxing arena working as a manager and boxing promoter with “Richard Steele Promotions”. His current post is Sr. VP & Label Liaison of Bungalo/Universal Music Grp. Also Mr. Rodgers serves on the Urban Network Media Giant advisory board.

KamranV, Artist Manager, CyKiK: KamranV, a graduate of the
University of Southern California's prestigious Music Industry program, has become one of today's most innovative music and video producers. After graduation, he established the standard for research-driven artist marketing and web video streaming at Interscope Geffen A&M and later co-founded Universal Music's mobile division. KamranV blazed new trails for advanced technology business development incorporating mobile phones, Video-on-Demand, and high-definition audio formats such as DVD-Audio and Dual-Disc. He has served as producer of many releases, including albums from Sting, Snow Patrol, Keane, Nine Inch Nails, and Beck. KamranV currently serves on the Producers & Engineers Wing of the Recording Academy's L.A. Chapter Committee. He is an executive strategist for multinational clients and is President of Spaceland Recordings, the premiere on-demand, globally distributed, live audio and video recording record label. KamranV recently co-created the national College Battle of the Bands and is currently producing a concert film of Nine Inch Nails final live performances.



Albin Serviant, CEO, MXP4: Previously EVP/GM at Vivendi ME, has strong expertise in mobile and fixed line multimedia services, with focus on marketing and content. Prior to joining MXP4, he held leading positions in start-ups including Musiwave and iBazar as well as large corporations such as PepsiCo and Sony Music. He is a graduate of the prestigious ESSEC (Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales) Business School in Paris, France.













Mark Shedletsky
is the Founder and CEO of BlueHaze, a web and mobile social network fo
r concert fans. Recently, Mark served as the Head of Consumer Marketing for BitTorrent, Inc, the largest P@P network in the world. Prior to joining BitTorrent, Mark was the founding Head of Marketing of MTV in Canada. In addition to launching MTV, Mark co-founded and built another multi-platform media company, Dose, and also served as its Head of Marketing. Mark has held strategic marketing roles at MTV (U.S.), Rogers Media, and Universal Pictures. In 2005, he was profiled in Marketing Magazine's 'Ones To Watch' as one of the Top 12 Marketing Professionals Under 30 and has won over 35 marketing and creative awards. Mark earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.

Adrian Sexton
, Co-Founder & CEO, New Medici LLC: Adrian Sexton co-founded New
Medici to innovate media, entertainment and lifestyle branding across digital and traditional platforms. As former digital head of two media companies, Lionsgate and Participant Media, Sexton brings a hybrid background in operational digital strategy, content and marketing/ distribution. Sexton and the New Medici team's passion is building audiences in untapped content niches. Before New Medici, Sexton was Executive Vice President, Digital at Participant Media. He was responsible for running the company's expansion into global media, digital distribution and marketing, and architecting TakePart.com, its social action network™ and its social issue Blog Network. Sexton recently worked on such Participant films as The Soloist, Food Inc., The Visitor, Charlie Wilson’s War, The Kite Runner, and the Academy Award®-winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth. Sexton came to Participant from TAG Strategic, a digital media and entertainment agency he co-founded with EMI veteran Ted Cohen. TAG’s client roster included Lionsgate, Qualcomm, Sandisk and LivePlanet. Before forming TAG, Sexton headed Digital Media as Vice President at Lionsgate, where he oversaw the day-to-day operations, production, media planning and business development for digital and mobile properties. His duties encompassed theatrical, home entertainment, television, international and physical studios. He oversaw the digital campaigns for such movies as the Best Picture Academy Award ®-winning Crash, Oscar®-winning Monster’s Ball, Fahrenheit 9/11, as well as the SAW and Tyler Perry franchises. Sexton identified multiple-platform marketing, distribution and sales opportunities for the studio’s 8000+ title film library in such high-growth markets as broadband, mobile, digital cinema, peer-to-peer and IPTV. Lionsgate’s market capitalization rose from $60 million to $1.2 billion during Sexton’s tenure; and he was part of the team which secured the $350 million credit facility to acquire Artisan Entertainment. Sexton is an arts advisory member of non-profits American Democracy Institute, Games For Change and the Los Angeles Film Festival.
