Jason Katz is the Founder and CEO of Paltalk.com. Jason oversees t
he strategic direction of Paltalk and also manages the company’s system architecture. Jason is an authority on instant messaging as well as web based voice and video. Jason has appeared at numerous industry forums as well as on Bloomberg Radio and CNN Radio. Jason previously co-founded MJ Capital, a money management firm. Earlier in his career he was a corporate lawyer at the New York office of Fulbright & Jaworski. Jason earned a JD from the New York University School of Law (1988) and a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania (1985).













Paul D Hamm, President & CEO, Endavo Media: Paul D Hamm is president and CEO of Endavo Media and Communications, Inc., an Atlanta-based digital media services management and distribution platform company. Endavo provides technology services to telecommunications companies, broadcasters and content producers seeking to deliver and monetize consumer video services over multiple devices through the Internet and/or managed broadband networks. The company has offices in the U.S., Europe and South America, and works with multiple international technology development partners located in the EMEA region. Endavo’s client base includes U.S. content producers and broadcasters, a major international telecom provider located in UAE, and multiple smaller international content producers and networks. Initially as a private investor in the company and then serving as CEO since 2004, Paul initially led Endavo through restructuring and then refocused the company with a vision to become a digital media services platform leader. Prior to working with Endavo, Paul established a successful career in international investment banking and private fund management. Paul also served as a civil affairs officer in the US Army and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Stetson University.

Alex Baxter, General Manager of PARADE Digital Media, PARADE: Alex Baxter is General
Manager of PARADE Digital. Baxter leads Parade’s interactive initiatives for consumers, newspaper partners and advertisers. Since coming aboard, web traffic has increased significantly, editorial enhanced with focused daily contributions, and the number of partner syndicates grown with attractive new content products. Baxter has held a variety of positions in and managed resources for editorial, sales, marketing, business development, product development, operations, strategic alliances and advertising. Prior to joining PARADE, he was the Executive Director of Digital Media at Wenner Media (Rolling Stone, Us Weekly and Men’s Journal), where he spearheaded Internet, mobile, video and other interactive initiatives. Baxter has also served as Vice President of Sales at Silicon Valley startup 4INFO, Director of Internet Sales & Marketing at Dow Jones & Co. / The Wall Street Journal, and as Managing Partner for Transition Assistance Online. Baxter holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, a BS and BA from Southern Wesleyan University, and lives in New York City with his wife, Amanda, and daughter, Sophie.

Rajeev Raman, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, mywaves: Rajeev is the founder and CEO of mywaves. His vision to deliver free video to mobile phones around the globe is predicated on his desire to empower consumers with anytime-access to their favorite entertainment. The direct-to-consumer premise has taken off and driving unprecedented growth for a mobile start-up. Prior to founding the company, Rajeev was an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at Menlo Ventures where he incubated mywaves and assisted with other investment activities. Before that, Rajeev was a founding executive at Questra Corporation, a Menlo Ventures portfolio company, where he led business and product development. He also served on Questra’s board of directors. Rajeev has held consulting and technical positions with such companies as Motorola Semiconductors, Infineon, LSI Logic, and Intel, as well as ETI and American Heart Association. Rajeev has a BSEE, an MS in Imaging Science and an MBA in Finance from the University of Rochester.





Pooj Preena is the CEO of Hi-media USA and runs the Payments Busines
s Unit out of the company’s San Francisco office. Through its product offering Allopass, Hi-media Payments is a leading provider of micropayment solutions worldwide and has been in business for more than eight years. Its parent company, Paris-based Hi-media Group, also operates a leading display ad network and content publishing business and now employs more than 500 employees worldwide in 12 countries. Most recently, Pooj was at Jangl, where as a member of the management team, he drove a number of partnership and distribution efforts. He came to Jangl from Skype, where as the first US employee he developed and executed key partnerships that comprised the Skype hardware partner ecosystem and contributed significantly to the company's value at acquisition by eBay in 2005 for over $2 billion. Pooj has invested in or consulted for prominent technology ventures including Betaworks, OMGPOP (formerly iminlikewithyou) and Hewlett-Packard. As a strategy consultant at Scient Corporation, he advised a broad spectrum of start-ups and Fortune 100 companies on using the internet for competitive advantage. He sits on the board of advisors of several technology start-ups worldwide.

Donald Chesnut, Vice President, SapientNitro NY, and has been working in new media since it was actually "new.” He has over fifteen years in developing innovative and highly-effective digital solutions for Fortune 500 clients, including Web services, digital business strategies, and multi-channel marketing communications. Donald currently leads SapientNitro’s business in the media and publishing industry– developing industry points-of-view, market positioning, leading sales efforts, and leading teams in the development of innovative solutions (including Web, iPad, mobile, e-reader). Some of his clients in the media and publishing industry are Wall Street Journal (having overseen a comprehensive redesign of wsj.com in 2008), Rolling Stone (Leading a redesign of rolling stone.com which just launched in April, including a new digital subscription model), Conde Nast, Associated Press, Hearst/Skiff, Scripps, and others.

Jonathan Hurd, Director, Altman Vilandrie & Company: Jonathan Hurd joined Altman Vilandrie & Company in 2006. He has more than 20 years of consulting and industry experience in communications, media and related technology sectors. Jonathan’s primary areas of expertise include business and marketing strategy, new business creation and launch, integrated consumer and business services, and customer and sales channel segmentation and targeting. Jonathan’s experience in the IPTV realm includes customer targeting, partner evaluation, demand modeling, and business case development. With unique insight into competitive trends and consumer perceptions about content and communications services, Jonathan works with clients to develop differentiated video strategies. Jonathan’s extensive marketing background enables him to recommend product and marketing strategies that resonate with target audiences as IP-delivered video moves towards broad adoption. Prior to joining Altman Vilandrie & Company, Jonathan was a Vice President with ADVENTIS. Before that, he was a Partner in the Communication, Information and Entertainment practice of Mercer Management Consulting. Jonathan has also served as Vice President of Marketing for a computer peripherals manufacturer, and has held marketing and strategic planning positions at Lotus Development Corporation. In addition, he has served as a software development product manager in industries including financial services, computer peripherals, video game development and management consulting. Jonathan earned a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from M.I.T., and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
