Loretta Brown, Vice President, Services and Support, Cisco Media Solutions Group: Loretta Brown, Vice President of services and support operations for the Cisco Media Solutions Group, oversees the deployment of and day-to-day support for the Cisco Eos platform. In addition, she is responsible for building the Cisco Media Solutions Group professional services business and strategy to help ensure that customers maximize the potential of their Cisco Eos-powered sites. Brown is a 13-year veteran of Cisco. Previously, she held the role of Vice President, IBM Strategic Alliance, where she led the global engagement for services, sales, and product development. Throughout her tenure at Cisco, she has also been responsible for building strategic relationships between Cisco and Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, Hewlett-Packard, and Oracle. Brown has been a member of the Cisco Gender Diversity Board and continues as a mentor and advocate for diversity. Prior to joining Cisco, Brown held senior sales positions at Lachman Associates, Wollongong, and Interactive Systems. Brown has a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and resides in the Seattle area with her family.
Chris Nilsson, Vice President, Integrated Marketing, Tenth Street Entertainment & The Eleven Seven Music Group And Responsible Manager, Mötley Crüe, Vince Neil and Sixx:A.M.: Chris Nilsson is the day to day manager of Mötley Crüe, Nikki Sixx, Vince Neil and Sixx:A.M. He oversees all elements of marketing, promotion and partnerships for these artists, working closely with the departments at Tenth Street Entertainment and The Eleven Seven Music Group. Working in this capacity over the past two and a half years, Chris has been responsible for creating and managing the marketing campaigns behind Nikki Sixx and Sixx:A.M.s The Heroin Diaries book and corresponding CD; rock festivals Crüe Fest and Crüe Fest 2; Mötley Crües Saints Of Los Angeles CD, Nikki Sixxs nationally syndicated Sixx Sense Radio Program and Vince Neils upcoming Tattoos and Tequila book and CD. The Heroin Diaries stayed on the New York Times bestseller list for over six months. The first single off of The Heroin Diaries album, Life Is Beautiful (the most played rock track in 2008), went to #1 on the Mainstream Rock chart and #2 on the Active Rock chart and the album has sold over 200,000 units since its release in August of 2008. Saints of Los Angeles was based on the Mötley Crües New York Times bestseller The Dirt. The disc debuted at #1 on the Independent Album chart and was the top debut of the week on the Billboard Top 200 albums at #4. Saints of Los Angeles, which was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance was also noted as the #1 Rock Song of the Year in 2008 by iTunes critics. The inaugural Crüe Fest was the top rock festival of the season in the summer of 2008. Tenth Street Entertainment and The Eleven Seven Music Group are entertainment marketing and content companies which work with partners across a range of platforms including music, fashion, book and music publishing, film, live performance and more. Rajan Dev, President, Hot Studio, Inc., San Francisco/New York: As President, Rajan is responsible for the client-facing disciplines of business strategy, design engineering, project management, operating strategy and technology and overseeing all core client engagements. He is a strategic expert in a creative world bringing together the business case, design, and technology. In addition to cultivating new relationships with startups and community organizations, Rajan has played an active role in developing partnerships with Cisco, Zinio, eBay, Ancestry.com, Warner Music Group, and DowJones MarketWatch. Prior to joining Hot Studio, Rajan was the General Manager of the San Francisco office of Modem Media / Digitas for nearly six years. In that role, Rajan served clients such as Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Sprint PCS, Michelin North America, Amgen, and Charles Schwab delivering interactive marketing strategy and solutions (web, email, and print). Earlier in his career, he was a technology strategist for a division of NewsCorporation and served as principal for the strategic consulting firm Nextera. Rajan holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from UC Berkeley in Political Science and an MBA from Columbia University.
Peter Levin is the co-founder of GeekChicDaily. GeekChicDaily is a daily free email newsletter and website dedicated to popular culture. Levin is also the principal of GYL, LLC, a technology development and investment portfolio focused on digital media companies and video game platforms. Prior to GYL, Levin served as President and Co-Founder of Bellrock Media, Inc., a mobile and broadband entertainment company creating and distributing premium content for mobile and broadband platforms throughout North America and Japan. Levin began his career at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), working in the Corporate Advisory Group with a client list including Matsushita Electric Industry Company, Sony, Nike, The Coca-Cola Company, and Credit Lyonnais. In 1996, Levin joined The Walt Disney Company in the Corporate and Strategic Planning groups and later joined Disney Online as a senior producer. Leaving Disney in 1998, Levin became managing director of Lynx Technologies. Lynx's investments included Applied Semantics (sold to Google 4/03), Gamespy Industries (sold to IGN 12/03), Ask.com (sold to IAC 3/05) and Atom Entertainment (sold to Viacom 8/06). Levin serves on the Board of Directors of Sulake, Inc. (Habbo), Double Fusion, Power Challenge, Mind Control and the Arena Football League. He is also on the steering committee of The East/West Sports Council and the Center for International Sport Business Advisory Board at the Western New England College. Levin is founder and co-owner of the 2006 World Champion Chicago Rush of the Arena Football League and a managing partner in Palisades Baseball, which owns and operates the West Virginia Power Minor League Baseball franchise. He is also a minority partner in and strategic advisor to Strikeforce, a mixed martial arts promotional entity.
Daniel Harris, Chairman & CEO, MEDIAPASS Network: Mr. Harris has been at the forefront of Digital Lifestyle for nearly 10 years. After the .com bubble burst, Mr. Harris saw a unique opportunity to connect with Gen Y X audiences through online music. Prior to founding MediaPass Network, Daniel has long been an early adopter and industry trendsetter in the areas of technology, content, and community. Daniel was part of the team that released Madonnas 1st approved download on the Internet and later secured the rights and exclusively distributed Internet video webcasts for the most coveted independent live events throughout North America and Europe. Daniel has produced and or distributed hundreds of individual live-on-demand webcasts plus numerous marquee live events including: 2002 2003 2004 American Dance Music Awards, 2001 2002 2003 Ultra Music Festival, UKs MOBO Awards, Farm Aid, and Voodoo Festival. This lifestyle credibility resulted in MediaPass Network being selected by Microsoft Corporation to participate in the Beta Launch of Windows Media 9 Series in September 2002, serve as the national press launch partner for the Portable Media Center in 2005, and serve as a windows vista beta partner in 2006. Previously, Mr. Harris operated his own production company where he initiated business relationships and executed licensing agreements with clients including: Adidas, ABC Sports, CNNSI, and Fox Sports World. During this time, Mr. Harris was a Brandon Tartikoff Award Finalist (top industry new comer) in each of his two years of eligibility. Prior to relocating to Los Angeles in 1996, Daniel was Co-General Manager of the New Orleans A League Professional Soccer Franchise where he tripled revenue and doubled attendance each season. Daniel managed all media partnerships, community outreach programs, and key accounts including: Coca Cola, Cox Cable, Gatorade, Pizza Hut, Snickers Brand, and WWL Radio. A native of Washington DC, Mr. Harris holds a B.S. Degree in Marketing from Loyola University of New Orleans.
