Kristine Shine is the Vice President of PopSugar Media, a division of Sugar, Inc., which is the online leader of original content and social media for Y women. PopSugar Media creates solutions for brands to connect, engage, and interact with this influential generation of women. As the head of the division, Kristine is responsible for helping marketers forge a trusting relationship with Y Women through PopSugars sites in order to foster passion and loyalty for their brands. With 17 years of experience, Kristine brings extensive knowledge of both online and offline media and advertising. Previous to PopSugar, she served as director of Sales at Microsoft where she lead the West region sales team that focused on performance marketing for search and display advertising, as well as the vice president of National Online Sales at BusinessWeek. Scott Levine, Senior Vice President of Business Development, myYearbook: Levine brings to myYearbook over 13 years of senior-level experience within the digital media industry. At Sony Music, Levine led new digital business opportunities via content licensing deals, strategic investments, joint ventures and M&A. Levine sourced and led the $260mm acquisition of Gracenote, the global leader of music & video metadata, management and services. Prior to Sony, Levine was vice president of General Atlantic, a global private equity firm, where he evaluated growth equity investments across digital media, consumer electronics and telecom sectors. Levine also brings experience from Verance Corporation where he negotiated millions of dollars of technology license agreements with top record labels, movie studios, and semiconductor companies including Universal Music Group, Sony Music, Universal Pictures, ARM and Texas Instruments. Levine holds an MBA from Columbia University and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
Jennifer Black, Vice President, Marketing, Local.com: Jennifer has more than 15 years of experience in online and offline marketing, strategic planning, business development and e-commerce promotion. Her primary responsibilities include search engine marketing and optimization, promotion, branding, public relations, industry relations and corporate communications. Jennifer was previously with Autobytel, the industry leader in the online automotive space, where she was instrumental in driving traffic and monetizing partnerships throughout the company's network of websites. During her tenure, she was responsible for spearheading traffic partnership deals with America Online, United Online and Earthlink. Prior to Autobytel, she held senior marketing and strategic planning positions at Teleflora and Overstock.com. She holds a B.A. in Business Management from the University of Utah.
Vincent P. Zaldivar, President and Co-Founder of Zen Gaming, Inc., is an experienced entrepreneur and gaming visionary. His gaming development initiatives address a need for casinos to offer new, fast-paced, fun and exciting variations of poker, blackjack, and other traditional games for social media. Vincent has collaborated with some of the most innovative gaming inventors, to design and develop some of the fastest and most strategic poker games available online. His product strategy, has been instrumental in Zen Gaming's acquisition of patented games and gaming technology. The end result has been for Zen Gaming to create some of the most addictive card games online. The company has combined that with a celebrity element, signing strategic co-branded partnerships with UFC and NBC Sports. Together, they have launched two popular games, UFC Poker and NBC Sports Poker. Currently, the company is in negotiations to launch several more celebrity branded card games later this year.
Oren Michels, co-founder and CEO, Mashery: has a record of success in a variety of executive positions spanning multiple industries. Oren co-founded and managed WiFinder, an international provider of directory services for public access wi-fi hotspots. He has served as president for two companies: Colt HR, a leading provider of mid-market benefits administration software and services; and Winebid.com, a leading online wine auction service. He also served as president and CEO of The Groundlings, a Hollywood-based entertainment production company, and has held COO positions at manufacturing companies. Prior to joining Mashery, Oren worked as vice president of business development at Feedster, where he managed the company's activities in China and negotiated partnerships with AOL, Real Networks, and Mitsui. Oren began his career as a software designer for Hughes Aircraft. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from MIT and an MBA in finance and entrepreneurial studies from UCLA's Anderson School.
Marissa Gluck, founder, Radar Research: Marissa Gluck is a writer, speaker and consultant covering the marketing and media industries. Named one of the ten "Thought Leaders of 2000" by Hub Magazine, Gluck has often been quoted in media outlets such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Advertising Age and Business Week. Additionally, she has appeared on CNBC, CBS Marketwatch, CNNfn, and NPR. Gluck has spoken at major industry conferences in the United States and Europe including AAAAANA e-business Conference and Trade Show, AD:TECH, and JupiterCannes Lions Global Advertising Forum. She has also addressed several university audiences and professional organizations, including USC's Annenberg School of Communication, NYU's Stern School of Business, and the IAB. Gluck was formerly a senior analyst at Jupiter Research, where she advised clients including Interpublic, Doubleclick, CBS, AOL Time Warner, and WPP on online advertising and marketing. Prior to joining Jupiter, Gluck was the research and emerging technologies specialist at i-traffic, providing strategic analysis and oversight of partnerships for clients such as Eddie Bauer, CDnow and Disney. Before that, she worked in account management at the advertising firm Ammirati Puris Lintas (now Lowe). Gluck earned her bachelors from Binghamton University and two masters degrees in global media and communication from the London School of Economics and the University of Southern California.
