Andrew Schneider,
Co-Founder & President, LiveGamer: Andrew Schneider has been a
digital entertainment industry leader and catalyst for emerging business opportunities at the crossroads of media and technology for over 14 years. Prior to founding Live Gamer, Schneider served as Executive Vice President of Marketing at Wind-up Records, the world’s leading independent record label, where he focused on digital innovation. Previously, during his eight year tenure at Sony Pictures Digital, Schneider developed and launched award-winning interactive marketing campaigns for major entertainment franchises, developed consumer broadband content services, and launched user-generated media tools and applications. Schneider began his career at NBC Television Network, where he inaugurated the company’s interactive marketing practice with the network’s first online presence.





Mike Goslin,
Vice President Product Development, Hangout: Mike Goslin leads product development for an upcoming online experience that combines the rich immersion of virtual worlds with the powerful community of social networks. Prior to joining Hangout, Mike oversaw the development of a portfolio of virtual worlds at Disney including Toontown Online, Pirates of the Caribbean Online, Pixie Hollow, and The World of Cars Online. Mike also developed several virtual reality theme park attractions at Walt Disney Imagineering including Aladdin´s Magic Carpet Adventure and the award-winning Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for Buccaneer Gold.












Michael Pole, Co- Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Trilogy Studios: As CEO of Trilogy Studios, Michael Pole is setting a benchmark for independent game developers and publishers in the online gaming industry. Michael is an accomplished studio executive and entrepreneur with a diverse skill set developed during his 25+ years in entertainment and interactive game development. Trilogy develops and publishes high quality Casual MMO’s from concept to delivery. A pioneer in online game development and platform development, Trilogy offers major media companies the opportunity to extend their brands into the online game space in exciting new ways. Companies are able to promote and monetize their content libraries and new franchises online, through micro-transactions, premium subscriptions, e-commerce, sponsorship and advertising. Since the company’s inception, Trilogy has attracted some of the finest talent in the videogame industry from market-leading companies such as Electronic Arts, Take-Two Interactive, Rock Star Games and Vivendi Games. Trilogy designed and launched MTV Networks’ most popular online virtual world to date, Virtual “Pimp My Ride,” and has just launched Kung Fu Panda World the premiere children’s online Casual MMO in partnership with DreamWorks Animation. Prior to co-founding Trilogy Studios, Michael served as the Executive Vice President, Worldwide Product Development for Vivendi Universal Games and Senior Vice President of Product development at Electronic Arts. During his tenure at VUG, Michael was responsible for all products developed by the worldwide studios including The Simpsons Hit and Run, Scarface, The Hulk, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon and many others. During his tenure at Electronic Arts Michael and his team developed Andretti Racing, NASCAR 1998, 1999 and 2000, Knockout Kings, Tiger Woods Golf, NCAA College Basketball and Hot Wheels Racing to name a few. Michael’s background also includes 10 years developing television and animation programming for CBS, NBC and ABC Entertainment.

Kyle Laughlin, Head of Yahoo! Sports and Yahoo! Games: In his role as head of Yahoo! Sports and Yahoo! Games, Laughlin oversees programming, content, business and product strategies for both industry leading sites. He joined Yahoo! in 2007 and is based in Yahoo!’s Santa Monica offices. Previously, Laughlin was Director of Product Management for Yahoo! Games! and charged with developing a unified casual and videogame product organization, growing audience acquisition through SEO, and improving monetization of its existing interactive products. Prior to joining Yahoo!, Laughlin led the Web Services team at Helio, an advanced mobile joint venture between South Korea Telecom and Earthlink. He spearheaded the successful launch of Helio.com and was responsible for the strategy and development of the over the air (OTA) web-to-phone digital content distribution system. He also worked for Sapient, a business & technology consultancy in its User Experience practice, working with Fortune 500 clients to develop user interfaces for AT&T, Sprint, and Motorola. A Chicago native, Laughlin graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems. Laughlin currently resides in Manhattan Beach and is an avid surfer.


Steve Poehlein, Client Industry Executive, EDS Communications, Media & Entertainment Industry, Hewlett-Packard: Steve Poehlein is a client industry executive for the Global Communications, Media & Entertainment Industry group. He is responsible for U.S.-based media & entertainment companies. Poehlein brings more than 16 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry to EDS. Before joining EDS, Poehlein was the vice president, Strategic Studio Relations at Deluxe Digital Studios. In this role, he established the relationship with Walt Disney Studios and its post-production business across all Deluxe divisions and was instrumental in strategic initiatives for Digital Post Production & Delivery. After serving as MIS director in the design industry, Poehlein served as a software engineer at Metrolight Studios. There he worked on a wide range of TV, commercial and interactive CD-ROM projects. He was president and CEO of Class6 Entertainment, producing animation for commercials and CD-ROM games for Disney Interactive, Broderbund, Electronic Arts and others. He was instrumental in the inception of Internet content company, planetLingo, Inc. as its Director of Production. Poehlein moved to Walt Disney Feature Animation as manager of Digital Animation Software. He managed development, supporting production in character modeling, animation and rendering for several of Disney’s animated films. He transitioned to the role of Director of Mastering and Restoration for Walt Disney Pictures and Television. In that role Poehlein managed a staff responsible for the creation of digital cinema, video masters, scripts and international dubbing reference for all Disney released and distributed films. As head of restoration, Poehlein was instrumental in the development of a program for Disney’s classic animated films. He has been actively involved in the many facets of the entertainment industry for more than 16 years. His contribution to these companies has spanned from management and financial oversight, strategic direction to hands-on technical and creative development. Poehlein is a rare executive that can “see the big picture,” yet understand low-level technical details of an issue. He is adept at cultivating and maintaining relationships and always strives for “win-win” results. Poehlein obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati and a Masters of Architecture, computer aided design and graphics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
