Howard Morgan, Managing Partner, First Round Capita: Howard Morgan has more than 25 yea
rs of experience serving as a mentor, advisor and investor in entrepreneurial ventures. Howard was Professor of Decision Sciences at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Professor of Computer Science at the Moore School at the University of Pennsylvania from 1972 through 1985. He has been a Visiting Professor at the California Institute of Technology and the Harvard Business School. During his academic career he served as an editor of Communications of the ACM, Management Science, Transactions on Office Information Systems and Transactions on Database Systems. His research on user interface technology, and on optimization of computer networks led to his bringing the ARPAnet to Philadelphia in 1974. As a result of this early participation in the internet, he advised many corporate and government agencies on the uses of electronic and voice mail, implementing it throughout the Wharton School in the mid 1970s. From 1983 to 1989, he served as President of Renaissance Technologies Corp. in New York, where he supervised venture capital investments in high technology companies. He was a founding board member and technical advisor of Franklin Electronic Publishers, one of the first manufacturers of personal computers. He has been an active consultant and speaker to users and vendors in the information systems area for more than 30 years, and has worked with many of the Fortune 100 companies and numerous government agencies. Since 1989, he has been President of the Arca Group, Inc., nurturing early stage companies and taking them from seed stage through initial public offerings. He also serves as a Director of Idealab, where he was a founding investor in 1996. Dr. Morgan serves on a number of public company Boards, including Franklin Electronic Publishers and Internet Brands, Inc. He is also Chairman or a member of the board of numerous private companies including Energy Innovations, Evolution Robotics Retail, snap.com, MagicWorks LLC and Math For America. He has also served as CEO of Kentek and Franklin during various turnover or transitional periods. In 1997, he was named Delaware Valley Entrepreneur of the Year. Howard is a respected author and a frequent speaker at major industry conferences. He received a Ph.D. in Operations Research from Cornell University in 1968, and a B.S. in physics from City College of the City University of New York in 1965.

Allison Goldberg, Managing Director & Vice President, Time Warner Investments: Allison is Managing Director & Vice President of Time Warner Investments, where she is focused on equity investments in companies that directly enhance Time Warner's ability to meet specific strategic goals, including the delivery of new services, enhancement of an existing product, entry or expansion into a key strategic market, completion of a strategic partnership, and critical research and development. Prior to joining Time Warner in July 2001, Allison was an Associate at Groupe Arnault, investing in and managing new media and technology equity investments for the private holding company of the Chairman of LVMH. Previously, she worked in the Global Media Group, Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley where she worked on transactions for Time Warner, Viacom and Liberty Media. Allison serves as an active observer on the boards of several portfolio companies including Audience Science, Everyday Health, Meebo, ScanScout, SiTV, and Trion Worlds. Previous investments include Adify (sold to Cox) and MediaVast (sold to Getty Images). Allison currently serves on the board of the New York Private Equity Network (“NYPEN”), and co-founded the NYPEN Women’s Forum. Allison graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Economics.

Harold Vogel, President, Vogel Capital Management: Harold Vogel is the president of Vogel
Capital Management. Previously, he was a managing director at SG Cowen Securities in New York and for 17 years was first vice president and senior entertainment industry analyst at Merrill Lynch. He has been recognized by Institutional Investor magazine as a top analyst in his field for over 20 years and received a first-place ranking for 10 years. In 1998, The Wall Street Journal named him No. 1 casino and No. 3 entertainment analyst in its all-star ranking. The author of two texts and an adjunct professor at Columbia University, he holds an M.B.A. from Columbia, an M.A. in economics from New York University, and is a chartered financial analyst.

Robert C. Raciti, Ph.D. founded Raciti Capital Advisors, a consulting
firm that helps private equity, venture capital, and strategic investors place capital in the technology, media, and entertainment sectors. Previously, he was a senior vice president with GE Capital's Media, Communications, & Entertainment (MCE) group where he provided industry insights to customers, financial sponsors, and internal teams that originated and underwrote transactions. Over the past 9 years at GE, he participated in over 600 transactions of which over 90 were funded, representing $ 8 billion in funded deal volume. Dr. Raciti's thought leadership enabled GE Capital to amass a $ 4 billion communications portfolio with zero write-offs for six years. Dr. Raciti has over 23 years of experience in the Finance, Information Technology, Telecommunications, and Engineering fields. He holds a Ph.D. in information systems from Nova Southeastern University's School of Computer and Information Sciences, an MBA in finance and marketing from Fordham University, and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College (cum laude).

Kenny Favre, Founding Member, EFA Partners: Kenny has over twenty years of experience in entertainment finance and entertainment production. He is a founding member of EFA Partners, a firm that provides capital placement and financial consulting services to entertainment companies. EFA is uniquely positioned in the film world with extensive experience across the entire sector including exhibitors, digital cinema integrators, software and hardware providers, studios and interactive companies. Prior to forming EFA, he was with GE Capital from 2001 to 2008, most recently as Vice President of Originations in the entertainment unit of GE Capital’s Media, Communications & Entertainment business that closed and/or managed over $3 billion of financing to the film and leisure entertainment sectors. Prior to the sales role at GE, Kenny was a portfolio manager of various entertainment accounts. From 1999 to 2001, Kenny was with Heller Financial’s EMX group that provided financing for the entertainment and media sectors. He was responsible for underwriting new investment opportunities and managing the portfolio. Kenny brings a unique perspective to the industry with his finance experience and his years of experience in entertainment production. Prior to his time at Heller, for ten years he was a Producer and Managing Director of the Willow Cabin Theatre Company which was an Off-Broadway theatre company based in New York City. The company received critical acclaim garnering one Tony award nomination as well as three Drama Desk award nominations. Kenny holds an MBA from Baruch College Zicklin School of Business and a B.S. in Music from Hunter College’s Baccalaureate Program. He studied graduate level media studies and film production at The New School in New York City. He holds Series 7 and 63 licenses as a general securities representative. Kenny resides in Centerport, New York with his wife, son and daughter.
