Mike Stepanovich, Managing Editor, Reuters Insider, Thomson Reuters Corp.: Mike Stepanovich joined Thomson Reuters out of college and since then he has led some of the company&Mac226;s most exciting and innovative projects. After serving as Managing Director of Reuters Innovation for a few years, he transferred to Reuters News and was appointed Managing Editor of Reuters Insider. Reuters Insider is Reuters entry into live and on-demand financial television that is available exclusively for financial professionals online. Reuters Insider also distributes content from more than 200 select partnersforming the Reuters Insider Network.
Tom Wilde, Chief Executive Officer, RAMP: Tom Wilde is a widely recognized leader in the field of Internet search and online advertising, and prior to becoming RAMPs CEO has held numerous leadership roles in the field including SVP/GM of the Consumer Division at domain portfolio company NameMedia, senior vice president and general manager of MIVA Inc.s North American division, responsible for both MIVAs U.S. online advertising network as well as the companys consumer business, and senior operating roles managing Terra Lycos global search & publishing divisions. Tom has also served on the IAB Search Engine Committee and holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Jamie Voris, Chief Technology Officer, National Football League (NFL): As the Chief Technology Officer for the National Football League's Digital Media Group, Jamie Voris manages all technical aspects of the League's digital initiatives. He oversaw the re-launch of NFL.com and the construction of the platform to operate all 32 club sites, as well as a host of other high-volume, high-visibility projects (including Sunday Night Football Extra with NBC and the Emmy-nominated NFL.com Live). Prior to his tenure at the NFL, Mr. Voris served as the Vice President, Technology for Playboy, where he spearheaded the overhaul and refocusing of its technology infrastructure as well as creation of the company's foundational technology road map.
Richard Sussman, VP - Digital Entertainment, The Nielsen Company Online Practice: Richard Sussman is Vice President of Digital Entertainment for The Nielsen Companys Online Practice. In this role, Mr. Sussman has been instrumental in leading all related growth initiatives within the Digital Entertainment vertical in terms of business development and sales. He oversees all of Nielsens entertainment clients digital business initiatives with such entities as The Walt Disney Company, Sony Corporation, Universal, Warner Bros., News Corp., Ticket Master-LiveNation, AEG Live and Paramount Pictures to name just a few. Mr. Sussman is a Digital Media and Entertainment (M&E) Specialist in Sales, Strategy, Business Development and Product Conceptualization to Commercialization. Segment focus spans (a) Television (Production, Cable Networks, Non-linear Networks / VOD), (b) Advertising / Marketing Services, (c) Internet, (d) Music (artist management, record labels, distributors, live concerts), (e) Film / Motion Pictures, (f) Wireless / Mobile Content, (g) Advertising technologies. Prior to Nielsen, Mr. Sussman was an M&E management consultant and co founder of two emerging media and technology companies: Gorilla Exchange, Inc. and Stream Exchange/QuickFlicks.com where he was responsible for growth strategy, international expansion, business development, sales and thought leadership.
Doug McFarland, Chief Digital Officer, HealthiNation: Doug McFarland has extensive experience in the media business, with more than ten years in executive positions within interactive media. He has been a part of HealthiNations extended team for two years as a board member and was named Chief Digital Officer in October 2010. Doug was most recently Co-CEO of Dimestore Media, which was acquired last year by KnowledgeNetwork. Prior to that, he was CEO of ScanScout (where he continues on the board of directors). Doug also served as Executive VP/GM of Eyeblaster, North America, Executive VP/GM at Advertising.com and President of Jupiter/Media Metrix (where he began as Senior VP of Media Metrix).
Frederick Singer, CEO, Grab Networks: Frederick Singer has both funded and led companies focused on innovating and leveraging Internet video technologies over the past twenty years. As CEO of Grab Networks, Mr. Singer is invested in and oversees a leading Internet video and software solutions company that services major media and government clients. Grab Networks was formed in 2008, when Web syndication specialist Voxant merged with metadata packaging and distribution company Anystream. The Anystream business was sold to Telestream in 2010, in order for Grab Networks to focus on video syndication. In addition, Mr. Singer is CEO of Echo360, an educational software company spun out of Anystream that provides automated classroom capture and distance learning to over 400 institutions in 23 countries. Mr. Singer is also the founder and Chairman of 960 Media, a company focused on providing leadership, medical and support services for returning veterans using video and social networking on the Internet. Previously, Mr. Singer was at the forefront of emerging video technologies as personal advisor to Masayoshi Son, CEO of Softbank Corporation/ Yahoo Japan. He has held the positions of COO of America Online Interactive Services, a founder of Washingtonpost.com and strategy consultant with Bain & Company. Mr. Singer has sat, or currently sits, on the boards of DoubleClick, Motley Fool, Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (International), The Langley School, Queens University School of Business and Upper Canada College in Toronto. He is active in funding pioneering work on Autism spectrum disorder with the Childrens National Medical Center in Washington DC. Mr. Singer holds an MBA from Harvard and an LLB, MA Philosophy, BA Philosophy with Distinction and B. Commerce with Honors from Queens University in Canada.
