Hypertargeting: Ad Networks, Ad Serving and Ad Targeting As the technology is refined and the networks become more powerful, the customer experience will become richer in accessing content and information, locating and interacting in communities of ideas as well as being served more relevant commerce and advertising information. As the consumer pursues his/her areas of interest, joining and interacting in communities, content and advertising partners must respond in kind, by giving the consumer only the data that is relevant. As the smartphone, computer and TV platforms become more elegant, both physically as well as in its software and operating system capabilities, the world of hypertageting and hyperselecting from both the client and server sides will deliver a more satisfactory and sophisticated experience. Beth Greve, Head of Display-Automotive, Google: As Head of Display, Beth leads her team in developing strategic marketing solutions for automotive clients nationwide. Over her past 3.5 years at Google, Beth has managed sales for multiple verticals including Finance, Technology, Travel, and Retail. Prior to joining Google, Beth was the West Coast Manager for Newsweek Magazine. Before her sales career began, Ms. Greve was the Vice President of Marketing at Fox Channels Group where she redesigned and relaunched cable channels including Fit TV and The Health Network. Beth began her career in the sports marketing world as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Management Plus Enterprises, which worked with such athletes as Shaquille ONeal, Ronnie Lott, Lisa Leslie and Sinjin Smith.
Colleen Quinn, Sr. Program Director, Interactive Advertising and Media & Entertainment, Teradata Corporation: responsible for deployment of Teradatas Audience Intelligence Solution, and overall solution strategy for the Media & Entertainment Industry. Prior to joining Teradata. she served as Ascent Medias Senior Director for Digital Services, overseeing global Program Management and Business Development for Studios and Cable/MSOs. Quinn brings over ten years of expertise in digital media management and technology. Quinn also served as Vice President of Technology for Countrywide Lending, responsible for development and deployment of operational business systems. Quinn served as principal and partner with SoftArt Management Consulting where she led the deployment of supply chain/sourcing and e-procurement technologies.
Neeraj Kochhar, President, Varick Media Management: Kochhar joins VMM from GroupM Interaction, the media buyers digital arm. He served as managing partner, director of operations for the last two years. In that role, he headed up the effort to get more automation and standardization across all steps of the digital media buying process. Kochhar was also heavily involved in focusing the agencys approach to ad nets and exchanges. Before joining GroupM, Kochhar was the VP, director of search at Publicis Starcom MediaVest Group. Kochhar was responsible for the launch and expansion of SMG Searchs New York operation. Neeraj is a graduate of New York University.
James Colborn, Director, Microsoft Advertising: James runs a product marketing unit for Microsoft's network advertising business. Previously, he was responsible for the public relations, marketing, and evangelism of Microsoft adCenter. Prior to Microsoft, James worked for a boutique search engine marketing firm, Inceptor, where he was responsible for search strategies for both pre-sales and post-sale customers. In addition to working in online advertising for over 10 years, James authored "Search Marketing Strategies: A Marketers' Guide to Objective Driven Success from Search," has written numerous articles, and has been part of the online marketing industry speaking circuit including SES, ad:Tech, DMA, SMX, and MediaPost conferences for more than seven years.
Scot McLernon, Chief Revenue Officer, YuMe: Scot brings over 15 years of interactive marketing experience to the YuMe team. He has built and led three successful web sales teams, including at CBS Marketwatch and CBS Interactive. Most recently, McLernon was President of Upstream Group, Inc. where he developed Habitat-the industry's only combined training and networking event for sellers. McLernon was on the Board of Directors for the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) for five years and co-founded the Bay Area Interactive Group (BIG) in 2004, which educates and helps network the Bay Area's interactive marketing community. Recognizing his accomplishments as an innovator and industry pioneer, McLernon received the ad:tech Industry Achievement Award in 2007.
Scott Lippstreu, Principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP: Scott is a Media & Entertainment Principal, focusing on Media business strategy improvement. His has over 19 years of commercialization strategy experience, helping clients optimize sales channels and align pricing strategies to drive revenue and margin growth. Scot t is also a leader of Deloittes Pricing & Profitability Management practice for Media. Areas of focus include advanced advertising , quote to cash improvement, and channel effectiveness strategies. Scott has served clients across the spectrum of Media, including experience with both national content providers as well as local-market advertising businesses (newspapers, local broadcast, cable, and out of home). He has served both new media companies looking to grow and expand as well as traditional players moving into the on-line and digital business models. Scott has been a guest lecturer at Duke's Fuqua School of Business, The Johnson School at Cornell University, the GE Learning Center, and the Pricing Center of Excellence national meetings.
