The iPhone has set the bar for Smartphones and with over 75,000 iPhone Apps now available, it represents the most vibrant platform of games, mini information and communication gadgets ever imagined. The iPhone Apps phenomenon is the learning tool from which all consumer electronics developers and manufacturers will learn and gravitate. The world of iPhone Apps is not only a money machine for Apple and its user community, it is a petri dish for understanding the needs, likes and personality of the modern consumer.

Manish Jha, President and CEO, envIO: Manish Jha, a wireless industry veteran
with eighteen years experience in general management, strategy and operations relating to new media, joined envIO in November 2008 as President and CEO. He was previously the CEO of Vantrix Corp., a technology company focusing on multimedia content. Prior to Vantrix, he spent over 16 years at ESPN, most recently serving as Senior Vice President and General Manager of ESPN Mobile. Manish is widely recognized in the industry, including being named as one of the "50 most influential people in streaming and technology" by Streaming Magazine in 2002, recognized by CableFax magazine's as a "CableFax 100" in 2005, named in The Hollywood Reporter's "Who's Who in Mobile" in 2006, and recognized by The Sports Business Journal as one of the influential sports technology executives of the decade in 2008.







John Zehr, Senior Vice President and General Manager, ESPN Mobile: was named senior vice president, digital media production in June 2007. He is responsible for developing the user experience, innovating new technology features, and driving content experiences across all of ESPN’s digital media platforms. Previously he served as vice president, product development where he drove the content and product experience behind Mobile ESPN. Prior to focusing on ESPN mobile content, Zehr was the vice president, engineering for the Walt Disney Internet Group (WDIG) overseeing technology direction and core platform development for all WDIG supported Web sites, including consumer destinations ABCNEWS.com, ESPN.com and Disney.com. During his tenure, DIGSTREAM, the underlying technology behind ESPN Motion, was developed and delivered to the marketplace. He has also served as vice president, technology for ESPN.com playing a key role in helping ESPN.com become the premier internet sports property. Under his direction, ESPN.com has received critical and popular acclaim for pioneering technical features that deliver the best sports experience online. It was in this capacity that he was a contributing partner in the development of the patented three play technology. Zehr joined ESPN.com in 1995 and has served in a variety of positions with the site and its parent company, Starwave Ventures (a Paul Allen funded startup). Starwave was subsequently purchased by WDIG. Before joining Starwave, Zehr was a consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in its technology services group. He specialized in the telecommunications practice working on a number of projects with major carriers integrating with core telephony systems. A resident of Connecticut, he holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from University of Virginia and is a native of New Jersey.

Lydia Heitman, Marketing Director and Content Producer, Freeverse: Lydia Heitman is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in Film. She continued to personally pursue her video game passion while working in film, TV, and a various range of professions that brought her from G4 to NY Fashion Week. Settling in Brooklyn, she joined up with the Freeverse team and now gets to play, create, and promote some of the best known Mac and iPhone game

Walker Fenton, General Manager, Media and Consumer Division, NewsGa
tor: At NewsGator, Walker Fenton is responsible for the company’s Widget Framework, which is used by more than 150 media clients, including USA Today, Reuters, Discovery and CBS News. In addition, he manages NewsGator’s new Related Content services, iPhone media application and its AdBurner Program. The Related Content services helps drive page views and increases user engagement on publisher sites while the AdBurner program helps monetize content where it lives. Fenton began his career in the Internet working for Netcom Online Communications, the first nationwide dial-up Internet Service Provider, and has since been involved with several start-ups including dbDoctor, Inc. and Xaffire, Inc. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Colby College and has an MBA from Regis University.

Steve Polsky, President & COO, Flixste: an online movie and entertainment community. Flixster was launched the end of December 2005 and, in a little over two years, has grown to a top ten online movies and entertainment destination. Flixster is a leading application across Facebook, MySpace and Bebo with over 15 million monthly unique visitors actively rating, reviewing, recommending and socializing around films. Prior to Flixster, Steve's career has centered around founding, launching and managing early stage technology ventures. Steve was Founder and EVP of VoicePlex Corporation an early innovator in providing systems and services to wireless carriers in the US and overseas which was acquired in 1994 by Intervoice. Steve was also an initial team member and head of business development for Amber Networks an Internet infrastructure company acquired by Nokia in 2001. Finally, Steve was SVP of Business and Corporate Development for Edusoft, a leading provider of solutions for public schools through out the US acquired by Houghton Mifflin in 2003. Steve is a lecturer for the Wharton School of Business's Undergraduate Course in Entrepreneurship, serves on the boards of kTC Corporation and the University of Pennsylvania's Management and Technology Program. He is also actively involved in local charitable board work in San Francisco. Steve also holds five patents in the telecommunications network architecture.

Andreas Stecher, Executive Vice President Sales, 38, is responsib
le for FISHLABS’ global sales activities. He is a seasoned professional with excellent contacts and more than ten years of experience in the mobile/wireless industry. In addition to managing FISHLABS’ wireless sales accounts and developing new business, he is working closely with key clients like Volkswagen and Barclaycard on premium mobile advertising projects. Before he joined FISHLABS, he was sales director at Electronic Arts (EA) Mobile responsible for central Europe and games such as Tetris, FIFA, and Need for Speed. He holds a degree in law specialized in brand licensing and contracts.










Darren Cross is Director of Strategy & Business Development for Fandango and Movies.com, business units of Comcast Interactive Media. Based in Los Angeles, Cross focuses on developing strategic partnerships for Fandango, the nation’s leading moviegoer destination, and Movies.com, one of the web’s top entertainment sites. Cross has been instrumental in extending the brands to new platforms, including mobile, set-top boxes, and other consumer electronics devices. Recently, he has been involved in developing Fandango’s mobile application strategy including applications for both the Apple iPhone and the Palm Pre. Before joining Fandango, Cross was Vice President of Acquisitions and Business Development at ClickStar, a joint venture between Intel and Morgan Freeman’s Revelations Entertainment, created to deliver first-run theatrical and home entertainment product to consumers via the open Internet. Prior to ClickStar, he was an associate equities analyst at Wedbush Morgan Securities, focusing on the internet and digital media sectors, including web retailers, video game publishers and digital marketing firms. Cross holds a JD from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, an MBA from UCLA's Anderson School of Management, and a BA in Economics from CSU Northridge. Cross is a member of the State Bar of California.

Craig W. Wigginton, Telecommunications Practice Leader , Deloitte & Touche LLP: Craig is the Industry Leader for the Deloitte & Touche LLP Telecommunications Practice within the technology, media and telecommunications practice. In this role he works with clients and client service teams of major and emerging companies in the communications sector and assists in the coordination of services across the firm, with emphasis on Audit & Attestation and Enterprise Risk Services. He assists in the coordination of broader services across the Tax, Consulting and Financial Advisory Services functions within the industry. He also works with major global telecommunications company’s to assess U.S. GAAP and U.S. SEC issues for those entities which are associated with the U.S. capital markets. Until recently Craig was also the National Audit Partner for Telecommunications. In this role he is responsible for developing the firm’s technical accounting and auditing positions as they relate to the communications industry. He also leads industry technical conference calls, conducts web conferences, and has recently headed the development of industry content related to the internal control databases for Sarbanes Oxley 404. With more than 20 years of experience working with communications clients, Craig specializes in wireless and wireline, but is also extensively involved in all other telephony related services. He also has been heavily involved in the mergers and acquisitions arena, as well as emerging technologies including software and internet and the convergence of telecommunications and technology/internet. Mr. Wigginton is a New Jersey Network Foundation Board of Trustee member, a former member of the US Telecom Association SMC Committee, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut State Societies of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
