George Linardos, Vice President, Product Management, Media, Nokia Inc.: As VP Product Management for Nokia’s Media group, George Linardos is responsible for product strategy, development and marketing of Nokia’s global mobile content services. Prior to his current role, George was Director of Mosh. In this role, he co-founded and served as the general manager of mosh.nokia.com, Nokia’s integrated web and mobile platform for the global distribution and sharing of user-generated mobile content. Prior to MOSH, Mr. Linardos served as Head of Branded Content & Aggregators where he was responsible for driving global business development efforts and alliances with major media and entertainment companies. Mr. Linardos came to Nokia from a similar position at Macromedia as Director of Programming. Previously, George formed and ran the Digital Media division of HSI Productions Inc., one of the largest television commercial and music video production companies in the world. At HSI, he helped create some of the first major advertising campaigns to seamlessly integrate television and Internet creative for clients such as Gap and Nike. Equally experienced in traditional media, George was originally a feature film development executive and producer for Academy Award winning filmmaker Oliver Stone and then in partnership with actor-filmmaker Ben Stiller with whom he co-founded Red Hour Films at 20th Century Fox Studios. Some of the projects he helped develop and produce include the Academy Award nominated “The People vs. Larry Flynt,” “Zoolander,” and the Emmy and Golden Globe winning HBO film “Indictment: The McMartin Trial.”

John Shapiro is the product manager of Adobe Wave, a new AIR application and service that lets publishers and developers reach users directly on their desktops. John also coordinates business operations for the Platform Business Unit, which drives the Adobe Flash Platform, including Adobe Flash Player, AIR, Flex, and ColdFusion. Prior to Adobe, John completed his MBA at Harvard Business School, spent time at Google working on Google Desktop, and completed a BS in Computer Science at Stanford University.


















Sam Farraj, is responsible for leading the strategy and business development activities for Digital Media Solutions at AT&T. Before joining AT&T in April of 2008, Mr. Farraj was responsible for launching the digital media group at MCI. He has also been EVP of product development at Vaultus, Inc., which provides wireless mobility solutions for enterprise customers. He also served as SVP of Marketing and Product Development at CMGI Solutions, an enterprise-focused Internet solutions provider, as well as leadership positions at e.Spire Communications, an integrated communications provider. Prior to that Mr. Farraj started his career at MCI. Mr. Farraj is a graduate of the University of Maryland where he also received a master's degree in management information systems.


James Henderson, Jr., Vice President of Strategic Procurement, Comcast Cable: He is a member of the senior leadership team reporting to the EVP Business Development, responsible for shaping the vision, insight and direction to senior management to achieve consistent and significant business improvement via relationships with incumbent and non-traditional suppliers intended to accelerate innovation of entrepreneurial services and devices to Comcast customers. Prior to joining Comcast Mr. Henderson worked for 6 years at Charter Communications as the Vice President Corporate Development, Business & Product Strategy. His primary focus was to seek growth opportunities across Charter’s consumer and commercial businesses. He was responsible for developing the long term strategic plans to grow both the individual lines of business and the companies overall prospects; analyze and manage business development initiatives including new product and service launches, new category introduction, alliances, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures. Mr. Henderson provided advice and guidance to Charter’s senior management on growth strategies; new media technology, content and programming issues; and market entry strategies and overall distribution channels. He has led the development of major corporate initiatives from inception, competitive analysis, funding, deal negotiations and ultimate product or service launch. Prior to joining Charter in 1999 Mr. Henderson worked within the e-Citi, a division of Citicorp, as Vice President of Emerging Information Technology & Strategy with responsibilities for the integration of leading edge customer fulfillment and relationship capabilities. In addition he oversaw management, development, due diligence, validation and deployment of new service technologies. From 1989 through 1998, Mr. Henderson served in a wide range of increasing management roles with Bell Atlantic and its predecessor NYNEX. Prior to his departure he served as Managing Director Outside Plant. Mr. Henderson oversaw the successful implementation of $1.6 Billion in Outside Plant related agreements that comprised 1,200 contracts covering 8,000 OSP material and services. While with Bell Atlantic Mr. Henderson held management positions in technology & engineering, marketing, new product development, competitive strategies, research and development, regulatory, strategic business development, and sourcing. Mr. Henderson earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Manhattan College and a bachelor’s degree in physics from LeMoyne College. He also holds a master’s degree in finance from Fordham University.

Marc-Henri Magdelénat – Director, Mobile Advertising, Microsoft Advertising: Marc-Henri Magdelenat is one of the 3 founders of ScreenTonic, the mobile advertising pioneer acquired by Microsoft in July 2007. ScreenTonic created the first mobile advertising offer in Europe as of 2003. ScreenTonic developed the largest European mobile advertising network by partnering with Tier 1 carriers such as Orange in France, UK, Spain … ScreenTonic sold more than 2000 mobile advertising campaigns to 200+ advertisers such as Coca-Cola, Nike, Reebok, HP, and Peugeot and many others… Marc-Henri was ScreenTonic’s Chief Marketing Officer. He is now based in New York, in charge of developing Microsoft Mobile Advertising presence in the US market and globally. Previously he earned his experience in the fast-moving consumer goods market. He managed consumer product lines at Unilever, and then he became Head of operational marketing at Coca-Cola, notably during the FIFA World Cup in 1998. Marc-Henri also participated in developing a specific advertising offer of Le Figaro newspaper in the early 90s. Marc-Henri is a graduate of ESCP (Paris business school) and served 2 years as an Officer in the French Navy.

Perry Wu, CEO & Co-Founder, BitGravity: Perry is responsible for the strategic direction, financial performance, and team management at BitGravity. Prior to BitGravity, he was involved in the creation of Xilinx, Mpath, eWorld, Sitesmith, Alibris, and more recently Cloudshield, Enkata, Persist, and WireCache. He has been an investment professional at Accel Partners, Bedrock Capital, and most recently as a General Partner at ComVentures. Earlier in his career as an entrepreneur, Perry helped start and grow Mpath—the first peer-to-peer multiplayer game service and VoIP service—from inception to IPO. He was an early pioneer in the Internet at eWorld, where he helped architect the spinout and buyback of Apple’s Internet and EDI Services business. Prior to Apple, Perry was part of the start-up team at Xilinx, where he helped spur the adoption of field programmable gate arrays. Perry has also served in technical roles at IBM’s Almaden Research Center and Andersen Consulting. Perry is a graduate of Stanford University with a BS in Electrical Engineering and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Nash Parker, Director, North American Strategy, Alcatel-Lucent: Nash Parker brings more than 20 years of telecommunications experience to his position as Director of the North American Strategy Team for Alcatel-Lucent. In this role, Mr. Parker is the lead strategist and primary liaison within for region’s content, advertising, and gaming industry activity. Previously, Mr. Parker served as Director of Strategic Alliances for Alcatel-Lucent, where he lead the company’s North American Strategic Solutions Group in support of the group’s IPTV and Mobile TV initiatives. Prior to joining Alcatel-Lucent, Mr. Parker served as Manager of Business Development for Sony Computer Entertainment America, and as Regional Manager for the General Motors Corporation. Nash Parker holds a bachelor of arts degree from Kalamazoo College, and a master in business administration degree from Wayne State University.
