Mark J. Penn is worldwide CEO of Burson-Marsteller and President of Penn, Schoen and Berland. As CEO of Burson-Marsteller, Mark serves as strategic consultant to several Fortune 500 companies and CEOs on a wide range of image, branding and corporate reputation issues. His client relationships include Ford Motor Company, Merck, Verizon, BP, McDonalds and Microsoft. He has been a key adviser to Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer since 1998, helping Microsoft affect a complete corporate turnaround from anti-trust scandal to Most Trusted Company (Wall Street Journal). Mark has helped to elect over 25 leaders in the United States, Asia, Latin America, and Europe in addition to serving as the senior strategist for Senator Hillary Clintons 2008 presidential campaign. He has worked with Senator Clinton for years, including the polling and messaging for both of her successful US Senate campaigns. Previously, as an advisor to then Prime Minister Tony Blair, Mark helped create the strategy that delivered an unprecedented third term win for Labour in the United Kingdom. He is also well known for serving as President Clintons pollster and political adviser for the 1996 re-election campaign and throughout the second term of the Clinton administration. Mark won the Pollster of the Year awards, given every 4 years, in both 1996 and 2000, the top honor in his profession, from the American Association of Political Consultants. Mark has written for publications including the New York Times and the Washington Post, and has appeared frequently on networks including CNN and Fox News.
Tom Kunz, CEO, Century 21 Real Estate: Thomas R. Kunz was appointed president and chief executive officer of Century 21 Real Estate LLC in June 2004. The CENTURY 21® System is the world's largest residential real estate sales organization with more than 8,900 independently owned and operated franchised broker offices in 61 countries and territories worldwide. With more than 30 years of the real estate industry experience, Kunz has spent two-thirds of his career affiliated with the CENTURY 21 System, where he established a successful track record involving franchise sales and ownership as well as running all aspects of brokerage and franchise operations. Since starting with the company in 1982, he has been responsible for everything from field communication, franchise sales, systems implementation, system-wide recruiting, broker automation and regional development. Kunz, who served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, attended Weber State University and University of Utah. He is a member of the board of directors for Easter Seals Southern California. Since 1979, the CENTURY 21 System has raised more than $95 million on behalf of Easter Seals and stands as the organization's all-time leading contributor.
sCharlie Holleran, former, Vice President and Chief Communications Officer, Ford Motor Company and Partner, The Holleran OLeary Group: Charlie Holleran is a Partner in the The Holleran OLeary Group, which gives strategic communications advice to CEOs, Boards and other top executives. Previously, he was vice president and Chief Communications Officer for Ford Motor Company; head of Corporate Communications for Computer Associates International, Inc; senior vice president and chief communications officer for Coca-Cola Co.; managing director, Communications, for PricewaterhouseCoopers; vice president, Communications, for Digital Equipment Corporation; and vice president, Public Affairs, for Travelers Insurance. He also spent 20 years at IBM Corp. in marketing, advertising, public relations and event management. A native of Scranton, Penn., he holds a bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Scranton.
