Brad Harrington, Chief Innovation Officer, iCrossing: Brad Harrington is an advertising industry veteran with both digital and traditional experience. As Chief Innovation Officer he is responsible for driving the Social Media practice within iCrossing, identifying market opportunities, and managing the development of new products or services that secure iCrossing's leadership in new applications for digital media. Before joining iCrossing, Harrington was president of Cutwater, an award-winning agency serving brands such as Jeep, Ray Ban, and Disney. Prior to that, he was co-president of Seattle-based Cole & Weber, where he launched one of the first integrated digital offerings in the country and spearheaded multiple award winning branded entertainment projects. Earlier in his career he founded two successful media production companies, The Media Stable and Medicus New Media. He was also the major architect of the now ubiquitous, online cost-per-acquisition advertising model, which he developed for the University of Phoenix in 2002. Because of his achievements, Brad has been called a marketing visionary by the New York Post.
Craig Peters, Senior Vice President, Business Development, Getty Images: As Senior Vice President of Business Development, Craig Peters is responsible for the development and management of strategic partnerships, evaluating opportune acquisitions and new business opportunities. In this position, Craig is integral to the implementation of Getty Images editorial growth strategy and further development of our service capabilities for our customers. In addition, he helps to develop strategic relationships with key customers and grows our presence and business opportunities in digital media. Peters joined Getty Images in 2007 as vice president of footage, music and multimedia following the acquisition of WireImage, where he served as senior vice president of new media and strategic development. In 2005, Peters was awarded an Emmy by the National Television Academy for Outstanding Achievement in Advanced Media Technology for the Enhancement of Original Television Content. Prior to joining MediaVast, Peters led business development for FOX Sports Interactive, led new media strategy and business development for the PGA Tour, and spent over four years at Eastman Kodak Company.
Marc Price is CTO for the Americas, with nearly 20 years of experience working extensively with customers to define strategies and deploy world-class solutions for mediation, rating and billing. He has helped some of the largest U.S. and European service providers to achieve business success, most notably providing strategic assistance deploying complex services across diverse networks including wireline, wireless and cable. Before joining Openet, Marc was the lead software architect for a market-leading convergent real-time rating and billing system for service providers. He has worked in various project management, product development, and senior consulting roles. Marc holds honors degrees in mechanical engineering and international relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
Daniel Leon, Head of Strategic Partnerships, Hiro-Media: S. Daniel Leon, as the Head of Strategic Partnerships for Hiro-Media LTD, is responsible for leading Hiros business development as well as seeking and securing strategic alliances in the U.S. Leon brings more than a decade of experience in online media strategy and business development. Prior to joining Hiro, in October 2007, Leon served as Vice President of Content and Business Development for SIVOO (OC: SIVO) where he drove SIVOOs content acquisition, distribution, and business development strategy. He is also a co-founder of ekkoTV, an innovative live video discussion platform. Before SIVOO and ekkoTV Leon served as senior consultant and Director of Business Development for Brand UP, a leading Israeli branding company. He led its expansion into the American market while advising mid-size companies on their strategy and branding efforts. Previously Leon was a Vice President with the Gallup Organization, a leading opinion research and consulting company, where he led business development efforts in the Midwest region. Leon holds an Economics degree from Brown University and resides in Teaneck, NJ with his wife and daughter.
Mike More, CEO and Founder, Nabbr: Mike More, CEO and Founder, Nabbr: Mike More, CEO and Founder, Nabbr: Mike More is a serial entrepreneur with over 18 years experience in the music industry. Prior to founding Nabbr, Mike founded a highly successful music production and publishing company. Mike's companies worked with a wide range of artists such as Don Henley, Britney Spears and Garth Brooks selling over 20 million CDs worldwide. Mike is a voting member of the Producers & Engineers wing of NARAS. Bill Cromie has been with Nabbr since its inception. Typical of his Gen-Y generation, Bill is an early adopter and lives and breathes all things Web 2.0. A graduate of NYU, he brings over 10 years of software development experience, having started programming while still in high school. At Nabbr, Bill leads the software team in its continual development of the core widget platform. Previously, Bill designed software systems for the real estate development market.
Greg Carter, Chief Executive Officer, BSG: Mr. Carter joined BSG in 2004 after serving two years as Vice President of Sales for nii communications - a San Antonio-based CLEC. Previous to nii, Mr. Carter served as Vice President of Operator Services for Qwest Communications after leaving Billing Concepts (dba Aptis Software) in 2000. From 1991 through 1998, Mr. Carter served in various sales and marketing management roles at US Long Distance (USLD). Mr. Carter began his telecommunications career in 1988 when he joined Teleconnect, an Iowa-based long distance, database marketing and operator services company.
Tom Gorke is Vice President of Digital Distribution for MTV Networks. In his role, Gorke is responsible for developing content distribution strategies across existing and emerging online platforms and for structuring distribution deals with online portals, video aggregators, electronic sell-through providers, and other emerging media platforms across MTV Networks diverse brands, including: CMT, COMEDY CENTRAL, Logo, MTV, Nickelodeon, The N, Spike and VH1, among others. Based in the companys New York City headquarters, Gorke reports to Alice Kim, Senior Vice President of Digital Distribution & Partner Relations for MTV Networks. Most recently, Gorke served as Director of Digital Operations and Distribution Development for MTV Networks. In that role, Gorke played an integral role developing strategy and forming partnerships across a variety of digital initiatives including digital music, content distribution, search and social media. Prior to joining MTV Networks in 2005, Gorke served as Manager of Strategy and Investments for Viacom Interactive Ventures. He began his career as an investment banker at Alex. Brown as a financial analyst in the Consumer Group. Gorke holds both an M.B.A. and a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Jonathan Hurd, Director, Altman Vilandrie & Company: Jonathan Hurd joined Altman Vilandrie & Company in 2006. He has more than 20 years of consulting and industry experience in communications, media and related technology sectors. Jonathans primary areas of expertise include business and marketing strategy, new business creation and launch, integrated consumer and business services, and customer and sales channel segmentation and targeting. Jonathans experience in the IPTV realm includes customer targeting, partner evaluation, demand modeling, and business case development. With unique insight into competitive trends and consumer perceptions about content and communications services, Jonathan works with clients to develop differentiated video strategies. Jonathans extensive marketing background enables him to recommend product and marketing strategies that resonate with target audiences as IP-delivered video moves towards broad adoption. Prior to joining Altman Vilandrie & Company, Jonathan was a Vice President with ADVENTIS. Before that, he was a Partner in the Communication, Information and Entertainment practice of Mercer Management Consulting. Jonathan has also served as Vice President of Marketing for a computer peripherals manufacturer, and has held marketing and strategic planning positions at Lotus Development Corporation. In addition, he has served as a software development product manager in industries including financial services, computer peripherals, video game development and management consulting. Jonathan earned a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from M.I.T., and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
