Madeline Herdrich serves as Vice President of Mobile, North America, for Paramount's Digital Entertainment Group. In this role, Madeline is charged with the overall distribution, marketing and operations of the North American Mobile business. Previously, Madeline served as Sr. Director of Consumer Business Development at AT&T Mobility, where she led the content strategy and execution of new business initiatives for Video, WAP and messaging applications and services. Prior to AT&T Mobility, Madeline held key leadership positions with Prodigy Internet, MCI Telecommunications and Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Madeline hold a Juris Doctorate from American University, Washington College of Law.
Katharine Linke is Director, Multi-Platform Programming for Disney Channel and Disney XD. Linke drives the non-linear programming strategy for the kids networks and manages content distribution, programming and scheduling across Broadband, EST, VOD/SVOD/FVOD, Mobile, Airlines, and emerging digital platforms. In the first year with these responsibilities, she developed the multi-platform plan for Disney Channel Games 2007 which won Disney Channel the Emmy Award for Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media. Previously, Linke served as Senior Manager, Program Planning, Disney Channel, managing launch plans for all Disney Channel series and movies. She joined Disney in 2000 as Producer, New Media and was responsible for all creative development and production for DisneyChannel.com. Before her tenure with The Walt Disney Company, Linke held positions at notable television production companies, The Fred Silverman Company and Vin Di Bona Productions, where she served as Director, Series Development, and was responsible for children's programming development. Linke holds a B.A. in Cinema and Television Production from the University of Southern California.
Edward Skolarus, Vice President, Business & Operations, Fox Reality Channel, News Corporation: He oversees business development and emerging media applications for the year-old service. He likewise manages Fox Realitys program licensing and content ventures for on-air and other platforms, together with Fox Networks Group support teams. Since joining Fox Reality in January of 2006, he has acquired and launched many top reality programs for on-air and digital media platforms. He also helped launch Fantasy Reality Challenge, an on-line fantasy game for reality television fans and initiated Fox Networks Groups first interactive viewer experience, utilizing Fox Realitys daily "Reality Remix." Viewers can use their cell phones to answer questions, participate in polls and other features in real-time synchronization with the series. Skolarus also launched "Reality Remix" podcasts, available through www.foxreality.com, www.itunes.com and www.yahoo.com. Mr. Skolarus joins Fox Reality from GoldPocket Interactive Inc., where he served as division Senior Vice President responsible for distribution, sales and marketing. During his five year tenure with GoldPocket, Mr. Skolarus branded and launched the company within the entertainment market, significantly grew cable/satellite/mobile distribution, assisted in acquiring digital media and mobile companies and launched interactive and mobile applications for leading broadcasters such as CBS, HSN, NBC, GSN, FOX, NFL and DirecTV. Prior to GoldPocket, Mr. Skolarus served as COO and VP of Marketing at BadaBiz Inc., an Internet content collaboration company specializing in Digital Rights Management and security for content distribution. Prior to BadaBiz, Mr. Skolarus was the CEO and co-founder of RenderView Software Inc., a leading digital content collaboration and communication company. Skolarus began his career as a lead systems architect and software engineer for Ford and Chrysler motors developing large-scale enterprise software systems. Originally from Michigan, Skolarus graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Eastern Michigan University. In addition, did post-graduate studies at Wayne State University in medicine.
Jim Eadie is Vice President of Digital Distribution for MTV Networks. In his role, Eadie is responsible for developing content distribution strategies across mobile platforms and cultivating distribution deals with mobile operators, aggregators and emerging media platforms across MTV Networks diverse brands, including: CMT, COMEDY CENTRAL, Logo, MTV, Nickelodeon, The N, Spike and VH1, among others. Based in the companys New York City headquarters, Eadie reports to Alice Kim, Senior Vice President of Digital Distribution & Partner Relations for MTV Networks. Most recently, Eadie served as Director of Business Development and Strategy for the MTV Networks Entertainment Group, which includes Comedy Central, Spike, TV Land, Gametrailers and Atom Films. In that role, Eadie led the targeting and analysis of acquisition targets, managed long-term financial planning and drove strategic initiatives, such as the launch of Spike HD. Prior to joining MTV Networks in 2006, Eadie served as an Associate in the Time Warner Corporate Strategic Planning Group and held a succession of Corporate Development and Corporate Strategy roles at AOL. He began his career as an investment banker at Alex.Brown as a financial analyst in the Technology Group. Jim holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University.
Jack Hallahan, VP, Advertising and Brand Partnerships, MobiTV: Jack Hallahan is focused on creating a diverse client portfolio in retail, consumer goods, automotive, and entertainment. Prior to MobiTV, Jack served as the Managing Director Wirestone and Vice President at AKQA Advertising. After managing Fortune 500 clients for Sports Illustrated, Jack developed his advertising sales career through his work launching Mens Health Magazine. After graduating from Villanova University, Jack worked on advertising, media and marketing strategy through agency experience at Chiat/Day and Young & Rubicam. Jack lives in Orinda, California, with his wife Lisa and their three children.
Frank Chindamo, President & Chief Creative Officer, Fun Little Movies: Despite the odds, Chindamo has accomplished the rare feat of making over 50 short films, on spec or on commission for entities like HBO, MTV, CBS, Comedy Central and Playboy. "Most people have done one [short film]. Some people go on to do two and very, very few people do three or more. I'm the only person who approaches the number 50," says Chindamo. Along the way, he has collected an armful of awards and admirers, becoming probably the most successful short filmmaker in the U.S. And what exactly is the key to Chindamo's success? Comedy, plain and simple. His films are audacious, colorful, loud. They feature sharp performances by stand-up comics. All of them run on pure energy, with perfectly pitched directing, editing, and writing.
Mark Hyland, VP of Marketing, QuickPlay Media: Mark joined QuickPlay in May 2005, having built a career launching new products in print, broadcast and interactive media. Mark co-founded Shift Magazine in 1992, and later worked as the Associate Publisher of TV Guide magazine, introducing new web and international print properties. Joining the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in 1998, he started CBC.ca, which became the largest news website in Canada. Other projects included Video on Demand, interactive TV and the launch of CBC's high-definition TV network. Mark earned his MBA in 2000 from the Rotman School of Business in Toronto.
