Braxton Jarratt, CEO, Clearleap: Braxton has driven innovation and growth in senior management roles with technology and media companies, most recently as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Tandberg Television (an Ericsson Company) where he led the rapid expansion of the company into the North American television market and video on demand (VOD) software business. There he launched and secured key customers for Tandberg's pioneering television distribution, management and advertising products, contributing to the acquisition of Tandberg by Ericsson for $1.2 billion in 2007. Braxton joined Tandberg through their $120 million acquisition of venture-backed startup N2 Broadband, where he drove key deployments of the company's on-demand software in nearly every VOD site in North America. Previously, Braxton worked at Cox as director of product strategy for the cable division and GM in the interactive media division, where he launched the first broadband internet content service in partnership with @Home. Braxton's first tech startup experience was as the head of commercial services with Primenet, an internet startup purchased by GlobalCenter. Braxton received his Bachelor's degree in engineering from Dartmouth College.

Seth Haberman, Founder and CEO of Visible World: Under Seth’s vision and leadership, Visible World has emerged as a technology leader in the field of advanced video advertising by enabling new levels of automation and efficiency in the targeting, customization, trafficking and delivery of video ads. Seth Haberman founded Visible World in 2000 to transform advertising production and delivery to achieve greater relevance and effectiveness. Under Seth’s leadership, Visible World was awarded the Technology & Engineering Emmy in 2007 for Development and Implementation of Automatically Assembled Dynamic Customized TV Advertising. Seth was featured for his pioneering thinking in Details Magazine’s 2007 Mavericks Issue, as well as in Media Magazine's 2004 “Top100 People to Know in Media Seth's innovative approach to video advertising has been recognized by leading industry experts including Jack Myers, who identified Visible World as one of the top 25 media innovators of 2003. Seth has been featured as a speaker at The MIT Forum, the RVC Technology Conference, and at the ANA's Advertising Management committee meeting on "Innovations that Marketers Must Be Familiar With." Prior to founding Visible World, Seth was the CEO of Montage Group, an innovator in non-linear editing, networking video and tactile feedback and licensor of technology to leading manufacturers such as Avid and Apple. Montage's innovative work earned and Academy Award for technological achievement in 1987 and several Emmy Awards.

Stuart McKechnie, Director of Strategic Marketing at Zoran Corporation since 2004,has more than twenty-five years experience in high-tech electronics. He has directed projects that range from strategic planning through product specification, management, development and marketing to sales and customer support. His experience includes time with technology startups as well as more than fifteen years with the global giant Philips Electronics, serving at both Philips Semiconductors and Philips Consumer Electronics. His focus has been on high-volume products and services developed from leading edge consumer electronics technology, with a special emphasis on digital imaging. Stuart holds a B.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Southampton in the UK, where he specialized in analyzing space imagery.




Jim Funk, VP of Business Development, Roku: Jim leads partnership and content relationship efforts for Roku. Jim was previously the VP of Business Development for Internet TV at Netflix. Prior to Netflix, Jim was VP Marketing & Co-Founder at Akimbo Systems. Previously Jim has held executive management positions at Macromedia and marketing positions at Apple. Jim has both a MBA and a bachelor's degree from Stanford University.













Steve Tranter, VP, Interactive and Broadband, NDS Americas: Steve Tranter is responsible for the design, delivery and support of NDS's interactive products and systems for North and South America. He relocated to NDS's Newport Beach office in California five years ago from the NDS headquarters near London in the UK. Steve has a degree in Physics from the University of Leeds in the UK and has experience in systems design and integration from a variety of industries, including analytical scientific instrumentation, photographic reproduction, database technology and digital broadcasting. Steve has been with NDS for 9 years and has been involved in the design and implementation of some of the world's largest and most advanced digital broadcast systems.












Alex Limberis, Chief Operating Officer, Syabas Technology: As chief operating officer for Syabas Technology, Alex Limberis manages the company's marketing, product planning and business development from its headquarters in Fremont, California. Mr. Limberis is a 20+ year veteran in software, data communications and media technologies. Prior to joining Syabas he was the director of wireless, broadband and consumer electronics in Microsoft's Digital Media Division where he drove Microsoft's success in the ubiquitous adoption of Windows Media into the consumer electronics, wireless and broadband ecosystems. In this capacity Mr. Limberis gained extensive experience in the areas of mobile wireless, IPTV, MP3 players and music and video services such as Verizon, Tivo, Amazon and Netflix. He drove Microsoft to join the DVD Forum and then served on the DVD Forum steering committee which resulted in the adoption of Windows Media into the HD-DVD and Blu-ray standards. Mr. Limberis also served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Dolby Labs where he defined Dolby's strategy to enter the networked entertainment ecosystems. Previously he was a vice president at PMI (acquired by Microsoft), VP of strategic marketing at Aureal Semiconductor (acquired by Creative Labs), VP and GM at Korg (Yamaha), and a founder of Ensoniq (acquired by Creative Labs). Mr. Limberis holds several patents in the DSP and media fields. He was a B.S. in electrical engineering major at Drexel University and holds an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University.

Jaspal Bhasin, Chief Operating Officer, itaas, Inc.: Jaspal Bhasin is a founding partner and Chief Operating Officer of itaas, Inc., where he focuses on financial and operation matters, along with leading technical initiatives for the company. Instrumental in iTV since its inception when he contributed in early trials, Bhasin brings more than 18 years of technology experience to the company, in the areas of iTV, client server systems, data warehousing and artificial intelligence. Prior to joining itaas, Bhasin held a number of high-level positions at such companies as Naviant, Sybase and Computer Associates, where he was responsible for design and deployment of large Marketing Data Warehouse solutions and other data products. Bhasin earned a Bachelor of Electronics and Communications degree from REC in India and a Master of Computer Science and Management Science from the University of Tennessee. Publications include "Selecting AI Tools Using A Hierarchical Decision Process" M.L.Emrich and Jaspal Bhasin: Paper presented at the 51st. Annual Meeting of The American Society of Information Science, October 1988 and "Modeling the Decision Process Using Multi Criteria Decision Theories" Jaspal Bhasin and M.L.Emrich: Spring meeting of the American Statistical Association, March 1989.

Ben Mendelson is the co-founder and president of the Interactive Television Alliance , the primary trade association representing the broad interests of the ITV industry. Ben has been an innovator in sponsor-based programming and has been involved in New Media technology from its earliest days. He was the founding executive of various early on-line companies (Interactive Center, Internet Imaging, Internet Outfitters), head of the Internet division of a magazine publishing company (Curtco Freedom), VP of Internet Development for the Electronic Retailing Assoc. (ERA), and SVP of Business Strategies at an investment bank (Winterberry Group). __Before his involvement with Interactive technologies, Ben was primarily involved in the art world. From 1981 – 1991, he owned and operated LA Art Photographers Assoc. (LAPA), an art gallery and resource center for fine art photography. In 1992, he founded PhotoSource— a gallery and resource center for high quality digital imaging. His interest in facilitating the creative process has been a guiding influence, whether from the art community or from the business community. __In 2002, Ben co-founded 2degree Partners with his business partner, Allison Dollar. 2DP manages the ITV Alliance and provides business strategies that include Direct Response TV, ITV, and cross-media marketing. Ben has taught at the American Film Institute (AFI), UCLA Extension, and the So. CA Institute of Architecture (SCIArch) and has been published in numerous magazines and trade journals. He is on the advisory board of the AFI Enhanced TV Program, the exec. committee of the IMPG at the Television Academy, and is a familiar speaker at many Technology, Marketing and Media conferences.
