Deepak Srinivasan, Vice President, Business Development, Ankeena Networks: Deepak Srinivasan has over 20 years experience that spans senior management, strategic sales, entrepreneurship and product management. He has spent the last decade in the area of consumers, devices and media interaction with hands-on experience in building and launching end-to-end delivery models. Srinivasan most recently headed Mobiance, a location-based services company where he continues to serve on the board. As VP of Product Management at 24/7 Real Media, Srinivasan was responsible for all marketing worldwide. Prior to 24/7, Srinivasan was with Reliance Infocomm (India) and was involved in planning and engineering a multi-million home Video-over-IP rollout. Srinivasan also co-founded Enscaler Inc., a provider of services for rights managed and secure streaming media. As CEO, Srinivasan grew Enscaler to multi-million dollar revenues with over 40 Fortune 1000 clients in enterprise, education and entertainment. Srinivasan has a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from IIT/Kanpur, India.
Mark McKinnon, Co-Chair, Arts+Labs: For two decades Mark McKinnon has been helping solve complex strategic challenges for causes, companies and candidates, including President George W. Bush, Senator John McCain, Governor Ann Richards, Congressman Charlie Wilson, Lance Armstrong and Bono. According to Broadcasting and Cable magazine, McKinnon is one of a handful of players behind every big decision, consensus or roadblock in Washington putting a unique, sometimes hidden stamp on the outcome of todays debates. McKinnon is an award-winning media producer and communications strategist who has served as principal media advisor for hundreds of corporate and political campaigns around the world. He has been awarded more than 30 Pollie and Telly awards, honoring the nations best political and public affairs advertising. President Bush says of McKinnon, I was really impressed by Marks creativity, and I was particularly impressed by his honesty." Senator McCain, in his typical straight talk fashion, says, "Hes almost a genius." And President Obama calls McKinnon a class act. McKinnon currently serves on the board of the Lance Armstrong Foundation, and lectures at the JFK School at Harvard University and the LBJ School at UT Austin. McKinnon attended UT Austin and served as editor of the award-winning university newspaper, The Daily Texan. He spent several years in Nashville working as a song-writer with Kris Kristofferson. And was wildly unsuccessful. McKinnon also is a two-time Ironman finisher.
David Rush, Executive Director of Sales, AT&T Digital Media Solutions: A native of South Georgia, Mr. Rush is Executive Director of AT&T's Application Services Group and supports Content Distribution & Digital Media Solutions, Application Management, Hosting, & Business Continuity sales organizations. After joining AT&T in 1988 as a technical specialist and systems consultant, he has held positions in the technical architecture, product management, marketing, sales, and offer development organizations. He has performed a variety of roles in AT&T, including General Manager of the Eastern Region Solutions Center, Data Services Marketing Director, Leader of the Business Continuity and Recovery Services Sales organization, and he formed and led the first Knowledge Community within AT&T. A graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, with a bachelor of Electrical Engineering and MBA/MS Management, Mr. Rush has completed a variety of post-graduate work at the Duke University Fuqua School of Business and the MIT Sloan School of Business. With his wife, Kylin, and two children, Mr. Rush resides in the Atlanta, GA area where he enjoys golf, hiking, camping, and restores "golden age" electronics from the 1930s and 1940s.
Marc Price VP of Technology, CTO Americas, Openet: with nearly 20 years of experience working extensively with customers to define strategies and deploy world-class solutions for mediation, rating and billing. He has helped some of the largest U.S. and European service providers to achieve business success, most notably providing strategic assistance deploying complex services across diverse networks including wireline, wireless and cable. Before joining Openet, Marc was the lead software architect for a market-leading convergent real-time rating and billing system for service providers. He has worked in various project management, product development, and senior consulting roles. Marc holds honors degrees in mechanical engineering and international relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
Art Kazmierczak, Director Sales Support West Europe and North America, TeliaSonera International Carrier; Since January 2008 Art Kazmierczak has held the position Director Sales Support West Europe and North America. Art has more than 15 years of experience working in the Internet and global communications area. Previously, he has held various management positions including Global Director of Advanced Customer Solutions from 2003 2008 and in Product Development & Product Management from 2000-2003. Art joined TeliaSonera International Carrier in May 2000. Before that he worked for several Internet Service Companies and for Ford Motor Company in product development and design engineering roles. Art has both a Bachelors and Masters in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Marquette University in Wisconsin.
Igor Vezmar, Vice President, Product Management, Ascent Media Group: In his role as Vice President of Product Management for Ascent Media Group, Igor Vezmar is responsible for managing and operating new initiatives in the digital and file-based media space. Igor is charged with developing new products and managing programs related to content preparation and distribution, deployment of digital asset management solutions and services, and product development of content licensing. Prior to his role with Ascent Media Group, Igor served as the head of Program Management for Broadband Sports, which is a sports-related web destination. Igor oversaw day-to-day operations of programming and development opportunities. Igor has also served as a technical consultant for Trilogy Software, a sales automation and supply chain enterprise software company. Igor provided technical consulting and engagement management for top-tier computer industry companies, including HP and Sun. Igor graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a PhD in Physics, and has masters degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering.
Katherine L. Parker, Former, Global Business Development Manager, Media & Entertainment Sun Microsystems Inc.: Katherine is responsible for business development, digital media solution initiatives and executive engagement in the broadcast/ cable TV and film studio industries for Sun Microsystems, managing go-to-market activities with leading clients and solution partners. As Director of Sun's Executive Media Advisory Board, she drives the industry agenda and outreach, in collaboration with the Governing Board. Katherine has conceived and orchestrated Sun's presence at key industry events such as NAB, IBC and many others. Katherine hosted the Sun Media & Entertainment User Group 1999-2001 in Los Angeles and earlier founded Sun's first Digital Media Solutions Center in New York. Earlier at Sun, Katherine developed the partner portfolio and go-to-market strategy for Sun in media, entertainment and publishing markets. Ms. Parker is a recognized expert in driving adoption of digital media management and distribution solutions and a frequent presenter at NAB, Digital Hollywood/CES, and Jupiter DRM Conference. She also served as VP, Chapter Development for the Global Society for Asset Management (G-SAM) from 2002-2005, and authored the 2004 and 2005 G-SAM DAM Report.
