Raquel Krouse, Vice President, Director of Social Media and Healthcare, Interpublic Emerging Media Lab: As healthcare director at the lab, Raquel works with Interpublic agencies and healthcare clients to ensure they are at the forefront of technology adoption trends among healthcare professionals and consumers. Prior to joining the Lab, Raquel was a digital marketing consultant, providing strategic direction and planning support to traditional agencies looking to leverage the digital landscape for their healthcare clients such as Pfizer and Novartis. In addition to her healthcare responsibilities, Raquel serves as the Lab’s social media expert, providing thought leadership on social media opportunities for Interpublic’s agencies and clients. She works with a variety of major brands and serves as a resource for agency executives in their efforts to integrate social media into clients' emerging media plans. When not in the Lab, Raquel can usually be found walking her dog Jake, doing yoga, or curling up to a good book.




Frank Barbieri, Founder, Chairman and CEO, Transpera: Frank is a mobile video veteran with deep ties and experience in the space. Formerly, Frank managed media products at InfoSpace, a leading provider of mobile content and applications in North America. Prior to that, Frank headed the Windows Mobile media device and services group at Microsoft. Frank also held a senior position at Onvia, a company he helped take public, and MSNBC where he drove the online video distribution business and interactive content division. He has most recently worked in the private equity industry doing mobile and entertainment strategy and portfolio company support.










Steve Rosenbaum, CEO and Founder, Magnify.net: Steve Rosenbaum is acknowledged as one of the early innovators in User-Generated Video. In 1995 he created UNfiltered, a program that put the very first user-generated video on MTV. Magnify.net lets sites quickly add a robust video solution to their existing site by providing video discovery from the web’s most popular video services.




Matt Rosenberg, Group Director, Media and Entertainment, Organic: Matt has headed Organic's entertainment practice for the last three years, based first in Los Angeles and now in New York while working across our clients in the media and entertainment businesses nationally. His accounts have included media and creative advertising work with 20th Century Fox, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros., and Paramount Pictures and web site projects with NBC Universal, Sony-Ericsson, Sirius Satellite Radio, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, and others. Matt's interactive entertainment experience began in 1997, writing content for the Rainbow Media network of web sites, including American Movie Classics, Romance Classics, Bravo, Independent Film Channel, and MuchMusic USA. He has worked on more than 300 movie and television marketing campaigns as Director of Film Marketing Strategy for Sony Pictures Entertainment, with the agency ThoughtBubble, and leading Organic's studio and network relationships. He has received Key Art, One Show, Clio, IAC, OMMA, and Midas awards. Matt's entertainment experience extends to the creative side. He was a television writer for several years, working on the staffs of network sitcoms such as Titus, Holding the Baby, and Lee Evans Conquers America (pilot), children's cartoon Recess, and the syndicated series High Tide and Misguided Angels.


Mark Lewis, Strategic Planning Director, DDB San Francisco: Mark has worked on just about everything in his lifetime. Variety is his middle name. He began his career as a foreign exchange trader in London, then took a sabbatical to start a New York city dot-com, and ended up as a planner in San Francisco. Mark has an innate passion for technology and is consistently searching for the next tool that will further enable conversation and ability. Mark's job as a Planning Director is to help inspire creative teams by showing them a proverbial fishing pond where they can fish for more effective, interesting ideas. This means gaining a deep understanding of target audiences and the cultural context for their lives. His account experience includes Edward Jones Investments, Cadillac, US Satellite Broadcasting, AT&T Broadband, Liberty Mutual insurance and Sheraton Hotels.


Nick Wilson, CTO, Break Media: Nick Wilson is a recognized innovator in the digital media space, with a career spanning many forms of digital entertainment - from games though imagery, music and video. In the 1980s, Wilson wrote some of the most popular computer games in his native UK, and was a founding employee of Apricot, a leading manufacturer of high-performance desktop workstations, where he developed advanced 2-D and 3-D graphics algorithms. After a number of years in Corporate IT and IS as well as becoming one of the UK’s leading Technology journalists, Wilson continued at the forefront of the digital media revolution through his leadership at Getty Images, where he built the world’s largest online distribution system for rights-managed visual content (still and moving images). Following his move full-time to the US in the late 90s, Wilson became CTO of DMX Music, a subsidiary of Liberty Media Corporation, where he built and operated the world’s largest B2B digital music distribution system which is one of the most extensive global IP footprints spanning multiple distribution technologies including satellite, Internet and broadcast. In early 2006, Wilson joined break.com, one of the largest online video destinations on the web, where in his capacity as CTO he leads the development and operations of a top-20 Entertainment destination site and other Break Media properties. Wilson holds a masters degree in business administration from the Open University in London, and has several patents for digital media rights management and distribution. He is a frequent online commentator and writer on all aspects of the digital media space and resides in Los Angeles with his wife Ashley.

David Berkowitz, Director of Emerging Media, 360i: David Berkowitz is Director of Emerging Media for 360i, leveraging his insight into the forefront of media trends to deliver strategic results for 360i's clients. Every Tuesday, he pens the Search Insider column for MediaPost, with over 100 articles published to date. Prior to 360i, he served as director of marketing for Viewpoint's rich media advertising group Unicast and search engine marketing firm iCrossing. Previously, with research firm eMarketer, he interviewed 175 executives, authors, and analysts on the cutting edge of technology and business. His writing has also appeared in DM News, MarketingProfs, iMedia Connection, and other publications. Mr. Berkowitz has spoken at MediaPost's OMMA events, the Magazine Publishers of America, The Wall Street Transcript's gaming conference, Frost & Sullivan's Internet Marketing Symposium, Digital Hollywood's Games & Mobile Forum, Ad:Tech, and eComXpo. He has also blogged extensively, contributing to MarketingVox, nowEurope, AdTechBlog, and others. He is frequently quoted online and in print on technology, advertising, and media trends. He graduated from the State University of New York at Binghamton and served on his alma mater’s Alumni Association Board of Directors.
