In the never-ending odyssey that is called the Music Industry, the road to future just keeps on getting longer and more complex. Perhaps it is because music is such an integral and creative personal experience, giving rise to an unlimited number of creative and disruptive forces, but as each year arrives, so too do about fifty new ways to deliver, listen, experience and pay for the music. In this session, we bring together a cross-section of creative players, from the traditional music label and P2P players, to companies with entirely new ways to reach the consumer offering new ways to listen and experience music all with completely new revenue models. We welcome you and all look forward to a fascinating session.

John Rosso, SVP, Citadel Interactive and ABC Radio Digital Media: John Rosso is Senior Vice President, Digital Media of Citadel Broadcasting Corporation, a position to which he was promoted following the merger with ABC Radio in June of 2007. He previously served in a number of roles with The Walt Disney Company's ABC Radio Networks, including Senior Vice President of Affiliate Relations & Digital Media, Senior Vice President, Affiliate Relations and Business Administration, and Vice President, Affiliate Relations. Rosso Joined ABC Radio Networks in July 1995 as General Manager, Operations and was promoted to Vice President, Operations in November 1997. Prior to joining ABC, Rosso was Director, Broadcast Operations and Engineering for the Group W/Westinghouse Broadcasting stations in New York City, and held a number of positions with other major broadcasters. Mr. Rosso attended the State University of New York and lives in New York City with his wife and two children.







Andrew Eisele, COO, TargetSpot: Andrew Eisele is the Chief Operating Officer of TargetSpot, Inc., a leading streaming media advertising technology provider and marketplace. Before joining TargetSpot, Andrew was Senior Director of Business Development at Associated Content, a leading online publisher and provider of multimedia content with over 80,000 registered Content Producers. Andrew was previously at About.com from shortly after launch, through its initial public offering and eventual acquisition by Primedia. At About.com, Andrew’s responsibilities as Vice President, Partner/Product Development included managing Sprinks, a contextually-targeted pay-per-click network, and the Luna Network, an advertising network of over 500 independent niche partner websites. Andrew was also Executive Producer for About.com’s Sports, Recreation, Hobbies and Games channels. Andrew has also worked at TIME Inc. New Media, Loan Pricing Corporation (a Reuters company) and Citicorp. Andrew is the founder of Dial-A-Box, one of the Internet's largest independent sellers of moving and packing supplies. Andrew holds an M.B.A. in Finance/International Business from New York University and a B.S. in Management from Binghamton University.

Andrew Stess, CEO, MusicIP: Over a span of more than 15 years, Andrew Stess has earned his reputation for being a deal-closer, relationship-builder and revenue driver for companies in established and emerging technologies. He is experienced in the digital media, consumer electronics and technology spaces, and now as CEO of MusicIP, Andrew drives the company's overall strategy, growth and continued innovation. His team especially relies on his technical knowledge, sales expertise and passion for music. Previously, Andrew spent several years with All Media Guide (AMG) as vice president of consumer electronics, a division which he launched and where he built the company’s CE and technology licensing from the ground up. While there Andrew established important strategic relationships with a substantial number of leading-edge companies including Playstation®3, Apple, Delphi, Yahoo!, AOL, Bang & Olufsen, RealNetworks and MP3Tunes. He has also held senior business development roles at Liquid Audio and Gracenote, where he pioneered the licensing of media recognition in consumer electronics devices and media player applications. An internationally sought-after speaker in the digital music space, Andrew has spoken at Digital Music Forum, iHollywood Music 2.0, Telematics Update and other industry conferences, tradeshows and events. In addition to his success in the digital media industry, Andrew is an ASCAP writer and publisher. He has composed music for radio, film and television and has played Bass for thirty years. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Music in Film Composing from Berklee College of Music.

Ron Greenberg is Chief Marketing Officer & Senior Vice President, Digital Media, at TouchTunes Corporation, the largest interactive OOH network. He brings years of marketing experience from advertising agencies and as a marketing leader in hi-tech companies, his work ranging from consumer packaged goods, financial services, and consumer electronics, to World Cup and Olympic sponsorship programs. Greenberg was SVP, Director of Client Services, NY at Dentsu Inc., part of the world's largest ad agency network. From there, he joined IBM to lead marketing and communications within a fast-growing division. Greenberg was then promoted to Vice President of Marketing for IBM for Asia Pacific, based in Tokyo, where he led teams across the entire region, whose accomplishments included IBM’s Asia Pacific sponsorship efforts for the Winter Olympic Games in Nagano and the Summer Olympic Games in Sydney. He was a charter member of IBM’s Global Marketing Board. He then held senior worldwide marketing positions at IBM headquarters, including VP, Marketing for Global Industries, where he oversaw IBM’s business solutions marketing in the digital media, telecommunications, banking, manufacturing, retail, restaurant and hospitality industries, among many others. After IBM, he became General Manager, Global Marketing for Microsoft’s Enterprise & Partner Group, based in Redmond, WA. Greenberg has won industry awards for integrated marketing success in Japan, China, Australia, India and Korea, as well as a Gold Effie in the US for delivering the highest effectiveness for a marketing campaign.

David Hazan, Head of Brand Entertainment, The Orchard: Throughout his extensive marketing career, David Hazan has consistently conceived and executed breakthrough entertainment marketing campaigns for his brand, agency, entertainment and new media clients. David currently heads the recently launched Brand Entertainment division at The Orchard, a global leader in digital music, video, and new media services. Based at the company’s New York headquarters, David is developing multiplatform marketing programs with brands and agencies that are based on leveraging The Orchard’s digital entertainment music and video content to achieve clients’ business goals. David’s extensive music marketing experience includes senior positions at Warner Music, MTV Networks, Universal Music Group, and Wind-up Records, where, as Executive VP of Sales and Marketing, he directed the marketing and release campaigns for multi-platinum Grammy winners Evanescence. In addition to launching a label-owned merchandise company, David directed the sales, marketing, internet, touring and PR plans for major rock artists including Creed, Seether, Finger 11, and Drowning Pool. As Senior VP Marketing for Putumayo World Music, David created marketing alliances with American Express, Louisiana Office of Tourism and major music and cultural festivals throughout North America. He also co-developed and sold all sponsorships for The Putumayo World Music Hour, a weekly radio show on over 150 stations around the world. David’s experience at marketing agencies includes event specialists US Concepts, Warner Custom Music, where he conceived The Legends of Rock & Roll joint venture with the US Postal Service and pioneering entertainment marketing agency EMCI / Rockbill. In the early 1990’s as EMCI’s VP Program Development, David lived and worked at their London, UK office where he developed unique global music marketing campaigns for Converse, Philips N.V. and Pepe Jeanswear. David originally began his career as a musician before starting his own Toronto-based entertainment marketing agency, Music Matters. He lives in Nyack, NY, with his wife and two sons.

Ben Patterson, founder, DashGo: Patterson founded and operates DashGo (formerly Audio Bee), a hybrid digital distribution and indie label serving independent artists, managers and labels via online distribution and marketing services. Since 2004, DashGo has focused on creating new revenue streams and promotional opportunities for artists and securing direct agreements with Apple, YouTube, Emusic, Yahoo and all major DSPs. DashGo artists including Coconut Records, Sick Puppies and Alexa Ray Joel have been prominently featured in Rolling Stone, Yahoo Music, AOL Music and YouTube. DashGo offers customized digital distribution and marketing services for clients including Delicious Vinyl, Krofft Pictures, Rock Ridge Music, Downtown Records and Adrenaline Music Group among others. As Executive Vice President of GMG Entertainment, Patterson led a digital entertainment consultancy team for Target, collaborating with senior executives to develop and implement digital entertainment strategies and working with clients including Sony, Ford and Cingular on entertainment marketing and business strategy. Patterson helped develop a unique prepaid gift card business for casual gaming and virtual world currencies, helping bring companies including Zwinky and Stardoll into brick & mortar retail. With a background of 8 years in digital music, Patterson previously served as the VP of Digital Music and Strategic Development at The Firm, one of the world’s largest management companies, where he guided digital business and marketing for clients including Linkin Park, Dixie Chicks, Kelly Clarkson and Snoop Dogg and brands including Pony and Virgin Cola.
