Stephen Condon, Vice President, Worldwide Marketing, Verisign: Stephen Condon brings more than 20 years of marketing experience to Verisign from the advertising, entertainment and technology industries. His primary role as Vice President, Worldwide Marketing, is to establish a leadership position for Verisign in the Media and Entertainment marketplace. His responsibilities include strategic marketing, marketing communications , tradeshow strategy, and packaging solutions specifically for the Media and Entertainment marketplace. Condon commenced his career in advertising working for J. Walter Thompson and Chiat/Day on leading brands such as Kraft Foods and NutraSweet. His advertising career introduced him to the high technology entertainment business when he worked on the hugely successful launch of DIRECTV. He later joined DIRECTV, as Senior Director of Marketing and was responsible for program marketing and subscriber acquisition promotions. In 1998 Condon moved from delivering video over satellite to delivering video on the Internet and joined INTERVU as Vice President of Marketing where he lead strategic marketing efforts and marketing communications up until the Akamai acquisition. Since then, Condon has held various senior technology marketing positions including Chief Marketing Officer of Intertainer, which was one of the first online video delivery portals. Most recently he was Vice President of Marketing for broadband video ASP Entriq. He holds a bachelor's degree in business and has undertaken post graduate studies in Marketing at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.

Martin Stein, Senior Director,  Digital Media Solutions, Home & Networks Mobility, Motorola Inc. - As Senior Director for Digital Media Solutions within Motorola’s Home And Networks Mobility business , Martin Stein is responsible for directing the marketing and business development activities related to MPEG-based standard definition and high definition commercial products. These include satellite, cable, and terrestrial transmission systems, access control and encryption systems, and commercial integrated receiver/decoders. Mr. Stein is also instrumental in establishing third-party partnership agreements to provide more comprehensive solutions for Motorola customers. Prior to joining Motorola’s Broadband Communications Sector (formerly General Instrument), Mr. Stein served as Marketing Manager at Ampex Corporation, a leading provider of technology for acquisition, storage, and processing of visual information.  Martin Stein holds a bachelor of science in industrial engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn and a master of business administration from California State University, Fullerton.

James Segil, co-founder & President, EdgeCast Networks: James is a proven web entrepreneur, having led and sold two successful startups. Prior to co-founding EdgeCast, James was vice president of business development for Talisma Corporation, an enterprise software vendor focusing on CRM software. James joined Talisma as a result of the acquisition of his company, KnowledgeBase, where he was president & COO. At KnowledgeBase, he worked with co-founders Alex, Phil and Lior, and was involved in all aspects of the company and responsible for its growth and development. With more than six years of leadership experience in the technology sector, James has started and grown businesses, built out scalable product and technology solutions, and created and managed high performance management teams. Prior to KnowledgeBase, James successfully led Web-hosting company Virtualis Systems through start-up, growth, acquisition, and a merger/integration. He was then COO of the web hosting division of Allegiance Telecom (Nasdaq: ALGX), the communications concern that acquired Virtualis in Fall 2000. While at Allegiance, James managed the integration of Virtualis as well as other ISP acquisitions into one centralized hosting network eventually re-branded as Hosting.com. James has a deep consumer marketing background having spent his early career (seven years) in brand management at Mattel before being sent by Mattel to business school full time as their first ever sponsored MBA. Prior to leaving Mattel, James was brand manager for Hot Wheels and responsible for more than $150 million in sales. James received his MBA from Harvard Business School and received his operations, marketing, finance and leadership skills from his front line positions growing brands and businesses. James lives in Los Angeles.

Kent Steffen, Vice President, CSG Interactive: As VP of CSG Interactive, Kent is responsible for overseeing CSG System's interactive strategy, sales and operations. CSG provides customer and operational management systems to 45% of North American cable TV and satellite markets for customers like Comcast, Echostar, Time Warner and Charter. Under Kent's direction, the CSG Interactive team has created CSG's Content Direct, a product specifically designed to manage customers and monetize digital content. Kent's solid leadership experience combined with strong technical acumen and a relentless entrepreneurial drive made him the obvious choice to lead CSG Interactive. Prior to CSG, Kent co-founded Telution, a customer management and billing company providing solutions to the communications industry, which was acquired by CSG Systems in 2006. Before Telution, Kent spent 10 years spearheading enterprise-level programs in the communications, health care, and financial services industries at Anderson Consulting. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois.







Doug Jones, Chief Architect, Cable- BigBand Networks: As chief cable architect at BigBand Networks, Doug is responsible for the strategic and technical direction of the company’s solutions for the cable market. Throughout the course of a 20-year career, Jones has been a significant contributor to some of the cable industry’s most significant standardization efforts, including pioneering development work on the early CableLabs®’ DOCSIS® and CableHome® specifications. Doug’s work with CableLabs included work on certification of some of the first DOCSIS products in 1999 and paved the way for significant advances in home networking. In January 2007, Jones received the IP Innovator award from the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE). Doug holds a bachelors of science degree in medical technology from the State University of New York at Albany, as well as a bachelors of science degree in electrical engineering and a masters of science in engineering from the University of Texas.






Steve Borelli, Vice President, Marketing and Business Development, Integra5: Steve Borelli has more than 15 years of marketing, product management and business development experience in the telecommunications, cable broadband and enterprise software and systems industries. Before joining Integra5, Steve served as vice president of Broadband Markets for Comverse. In this role, he led global marketing and business development for the cable, satellite and IPTV markets. Prior to Comverse, Steve spent six years with CSG Systems, most recently as vice president of Business Development where he played a key role in directing companywide initiatives to support the cable broadband industry and develop growth initiatives for CSG. Steve spent seven years with U S WEST (now Qwest Communications) where he served as director of Video and Online Services for their Broadband Services division and was responsible for product management of the VDSL and cable delivered services. Steve was also involved with early deployments of video on demand, online content and other interactive TV services. Earlier in his career, Steve was part of the cable industry’s first cable modem deployments as the director of Marketing at Jones Internet Channel. In this role he was responsible for overall marketing strategy and execution for cable modem Internet access and Web-based community content. Steve holds a BA in Communications from the University of Colorado in Boulder.

Gary Arlen is President of Arlen Communications Inc., a Bethesda, Maryland, research and consulting firm known for its insights into the converging and sometimes conflicting worlds of media, telecommunications and interactive program content. For nearly 20 years, Gary has accurately analyzed the emergence of new media, forecasting the evolution of customer-controlled video and data services. Gary has published future-looking periodicals and consults for clients seeking strategic and business guidance to enter these new markets and is known for his insights into the development of applications, especially interactive content for Internet, two-way TV and other emerging systems. Among his specialties is what he calls "inter-species" breeding to integrate different types of services on new hybrid platforms.  Gary's outlooks are published in industry journals, and his commentary is widely sought in the business and consumer press.
